Goa get a truck load of these tacos before I consume them all! I guess crying in public will now be part of my #tacotuesday routine if I keeping coming to @goa_taco (which I will). It was like experiencing a different food culture with every bite. The Slow Roasted Pork Belly was the perfect starter. Melt in your mouth pork with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy from the pickled red cabbage and chipotle mayo. I thought I had peaked until I got to experience the juggernaut that is the Mojo Beef Taco. With pinto bean puree, plantain chips, and smoked jalapenos, I was having a party in my mouth. It was creamy, crispy, chewy good good in every bite. But let me start another paragraph just to talk about the show stopper of every taco that comes out of that kitchen: the Paratha Taco Shell. I have seen the light. It's been described as just an Indian flatbread but it's so much more. Its crispy, flakey goodness still has a softness to it creating the ultimate mouth feel. Plus it can withstand all the hot juices and spices without falling apart or losing its crunch factor. AND it's so big that all of their tacos are two times the size of a regular one.
