do you enjoy puzzles? If yeah, then what kind, and if not, what would get you to do one anyway?

I do very much enjoy puzzles of any kind honestly, save for math puzzles. I adore word puzzles especially, and then actually picture puzzles are quite calming. Logic puzzles and directional puzzles can also be quite fun.

APHANTASIA?

Alas yes it's true. Aphantasia indeed. My friends tell me I am weirdly good at recalling facts but if you needed me to draw the person from memory without practice, or to describe them in a detailed way, I would be unable to. These facts must first translate to words in my mind. The image is depressingly dim and easily forgettable.

Thinking about how much of a morning person Kennedy absolutely is not. Thinking about how at 6 am Kennedy is just there sitting like this

And rubbing her eyes with the messiest hair you've ever seen and just. Like not even registering that she exists yet. And she just doesn't even move and just stares into space for a solid half hour unless Scout comes to get her. And he chuckles to himself and snaps her into consciousness and she's a little silly and kind of grouchy when she has to talk to anyone within an hour of gaining consciousness, except he's a fine exception. She smiles at him but just stares at anyone else who tries to talk to her like '-'

Scout coaxes her out of bed with caffeine and drapes a blanket over her bare shoulders since she likes to sleep in a tank top. And she just follows him out of her room into the far too bright base. Just a 5'2 1/2" gremlin with a messy braid, grey tank top and oversized black track pants shuffling through the corridor and into the kitchen. And he'll sit her down and put a hot tea in front of her and she'll just stare at it for a minute before slowly drinking it.

And then she'll be awake. and she'll down a second one in absolutely no time at all. And then she'll be awake and as everyone else joins them at the table she'll brighten up and start talking the hell out of everyone, still in the messiest morning girl outfit ever. By now Scout knows she doesn't really eat much for breakfast except some kind of smoothie, but that if she's given something she'll eat whatever. So when she's sad he'll give her some treat, but he learned how to make the best damn smoothies just for her.

Experiences where a younger sibling was missing or in danger somehow. Those make her far more afraid than when she herself is in danger.

A month or two into her employment under Mann Co., Kennedy had a breakdown in her quarters. She hadn't had a true heart to heart with anyone for a very long time, since she was very small the only true feelings she'd told anyone had been to Francesca and Thomas. After she escaped she left those feelings behind, dedicated to keep them locked away or at least out of sight. However, this time, Scout found her. They'd befriended each other extremely quickly and had gotten to the point where, though he was the kind of person to make fun of other people and kinda liked to see other people hurt, it hurt him to see Kennedy in pain. He climbed onto her bed, and she put her head in his lap. There wasn't much she knew how to say, so instead she stayed quiet, just sobbing gently into his clothes. He was a little nervous at first, not sure what to say, and at some point he realized he didn't need to say anything, and he just held her, rubbing her shoulder. Something about that healed a bit of a part of Kennedy that had been broken for a long time. And that was a memory she would cherish.

She has a very weak minds eye. She's able to recall data, but only really data. The colour of a shirt or someone's hair, but not quite what they looked like. She can see a whole very dim image but never real details or features. She can recall license plates, car models, but not much about where they were, defining features of the car, unless she committs them to words.

Her favourite food and drink are empanadas, Cinnamon buns, tea and horchata. Her daily diet is only really what she needs; she'll have a smoothie at most for breakfast, have a simple lunch, but dinner is where it gets fancy, especially when it's her turn to cook, she'll treat the mercs to some Hispanic cuisine, especially her mother's recipes.

— Has no sense of direction

— Like literally none you could lose her in an elevator

— An absolute idiot when she gets tired or excited

— Walks spectacularly in heels but absolutely WILL trip while wearing the flattest shoes

— When she's not in uniform, her fashion style is heavily influenced by Audrey Hepburn 

— She can sing, and isn't afraid to show everyone that. She'll sing while she's working, training, showering. Whatever. 

— She is an absolute disaster when it comes to animals and feels the need to love all of them and adopts everything she sees. She baby talks to Acero a lot

— She is apt at languages and linguistics; fluent in Spanish and English and fascinated with learning others such as German, French and Latin if she could. BLU Kennedy learned German and RED learned French. Both also dabbled in Latin.

— Her favourite foods are empanadas and cinnamon buns, her favourite drinks are hot tea and horchata

— She was raised to be an assistant like Pauling and Bidwell but ended up escaping early and then being hired as a Merc. She feels guilt over this.

HISTORY 

She was a Chicana brown beret, an activist who would regularly attend Latin heritage events. She was not that big on protesting, but as someone who already passed pretty well, she'd occasionally disguise herself, with a blonde wig, and change her accent, so she could more easily communicate with bigger names. She wrote letters and wrote telegrams to people in advocation for education and healthcare rights.

TRAUMA & INJURY  RESPONSE 

— Kennedy seriously lacks a sense of self preservation. She is extremely injury prone as well. While she does have common sense she'll often underestimate the amount of injury an activity could give her, and she rarely cares about said injuries until it gets really bad. This is likely a side effect of the pain resistance training she was put through. She tends to ignore her pain, considering it noncritical until it actually makes her completely unable to complete her duty.

— Has regular dreams where she is caught or tortured, but that is not what makes her afraid. What makes her afraid is the fact that her siblings and loved ones are usually in those, and she is undergoing it to protect them.
