Dear Future Me,

I should have written this two-ish years ago when it was asked just so I could have reread it at this moment and either slinked away in embarrassment or laughed in humiliation (it's all the same really and both were probably bound to happen). Regardless, I hope you defrost a little and become a better person. Keep in touch with the friends you've made and especially the ones you've essentially spent all summer with; you love them, alright? Get over yourself. Become closer to your family. Sleep earlier. You told someone earlier this evening, the silence at 4AM from waking up from sleep and the silence at 4AM from staying up all night is different. Enough of being lonely, enough of moping. You're a person, too. I hope you find something you really like and keep with it. You explained once that being a human was the most valuable thing because it's a physical manifestation of the most precious commodity in this world and possibly universe; to settle or to compromise as it would be the cruelest form of suicide and a tragic waste of time. Remember your Principles. Don't forget Jack London's Credo, because he's right.

  Dear Person I Hate,

I think I have a love-hate relationship with myself depending on the day, weather, time, situation and circumstance, mood, alignment of the stars and planets, height of the tide, and particular position I'm sitting/standing/laying in. 

It's alright though, because I think, you've never really hated anything unless you've felt love and you've never really loved anything unless you've felt hate. It's a paradoxical thing. The greatest things are the hardest haha.

The Sherlock Holmes is a split Level establishment with a bar on the ground floor and on the first floor, an intimate, covered roof garden and the Sherlock Holmes restaurant.

The study can be viewed from both the roof garden and the restaurant, with an entire wall of the study being glass plated to give commanding views from where you are eating.

Evening out in the city. Ate at Dhaba in Curry Hill (cute name for a region of the city). Walked around. Ended up in Macy's for a bathroom run. Train home. Ferry. Light and easy night. Turned out better than we expected..."I hope this plan works." And it did.

At the original restaurant we were planning for, I told Ira to make the reservations but he couldn't get through, so he asked me to call and they said they were booked. Apparently, (Ira and I both didn't know this) Patrick called, too and he couldn't get a reservation. BUT imagine we all managed to snag a spot at the restaurant, we would've arranged 2-3 reservations. LOL miscommunication.
