I'm the anon who asked about Eddie and Jason! I wanted to make a request based on that where Jason and his friends won't leave Eddie alone and r isn't taking it
eddie munson x reader/ eddie munson x gn!reader
warning(s): language, Jason (is his own warning), Eddie and r aren’t a thing yet but they’re getting to be more than just friends too. NOT PROOFREAD.
a/n: it's like the request but also not and my apologies on the delay.
—
The metalhead was used to Carver and his friends' behavior. While sometimes he wasn’t sure what to expect from them, he knew enough to know they wouldn’t be leaving him alone.
The captain of the team never really approached the senior unless he knew there was someone behind him; because as far as Eddie was aware, Jason never really got within arms length or delivered anything other than critical comments to him if it was just the boy alone.
But unlike then, times where Jason was with his friends, were more frequent than Eddie would’ve expected. It’s why instances like now, where he was basically cornered by the group, Eddie hated the term ‘friends.’ Because why couldn’t there be a moment where they weren’t around one another? It’d give the older boy a break from their incessant ways.
Eddie held his hands up to his chest, palms facing out as a surrender, refusing to get himself into any further conflict with them, even after their shoves to his shoulders. His lips pressed together to keep himself from making any sort of comment, but also because there wasn’t really much he could do without them going at him more than they already were.
He’d usually talk his way out, though as of recently, it wasn’t an option since it seems to give the group of boys more of a reason to push him around. Not to mention the times where his mouth got him into more trouble than it did getting him out of it. Apparently making jokes when you’re in a situation like that meant you were ‘asking for it.’ According to Jason Carver. And Eddie will neither agree or deny if he was. If Jason Carver thinks he was being smug during it, then who was Eddie to tell him otherwise. Carver didn’t seem to like that answer either.
So, Eddie results in standing there and accepting it by now. And maybe he had been too quick in his earlier thoughts about hating the terms ‘friends.’ Because not all of them were like the ones that followed Jason.
You’d heard them before you saw them, and it didn’t take you long to pick up on their words and who they were referring to. Also taking into account the many uses of your friend’s name. Your feet carried you to where their voices were coming from.
You caught sight of Eddie’s mane from over the heads of the group of boys. Your voice raised as soon as you saw them.
“Carver, leave him alone!”
Jason’s head tilted at the sound, letting a sigh out as he turned around to say something, probably along the lines of why you stick around someone like Eddie Munson. Though his words never left his mouth; your fist collided with his jaw before anything could get out.
The blonde cursed at the contact, groaning as he held his face in his hands. He hadn’t expected it and neither had his friends, who stood with taken back expressions. Even the curly headed boy stood there unsure of what he just saw.
“Eddie.”
Your voice brought Eddie out of his staring, turning over to see you looking at him expectantly. Your head tilted to the side, hand extended out- the same one you used to hit the groaning boy who was on his knees knelt over, face in his hands.
“Oh, right.” Eddie stepped over Jason- his friends stepping back as the brunette passed by- not daring to even try what they were about to moments ago- aware of what you were capable of when it involved the metalhead. There was an ‘scuse me,’ that fell from Eddie’s lips when he pushed by the last of the boys, and you couldn’t help yourself from thinking how even after getting cornered and shoved by them, he still held manners.
Eddie took your hand in his, a smug look on his face as he turned to the group of seniors, “they just did that.” He said he looked down to their captain, who was still groaning.
You pulled him away before he could say anything else, knowing just how carried away Eddie could get with his words.
“I’m so in love with you.”
Though he did always know what to say.

so I went through your your masterlist and oh my god your writing is everything to me....I've reread every hc you've posted about eddie and wanted get your thought on him getting into it with Jason? is he the type?
I think I've posted about it? It's been a while since I've answered asks like this
we've seen the way eddie is, the way he was whenever he was on screen even if the time was very little bc they couldn't give us proper writing.
he's not much of a fighter, he took off whenever he saw jason and his friends hone in on him, but when your outnumbered like he was you probably would've turned the other way too. though in saying that, i'm not implying at all that eddie was weak in any way. if anything, it’s the ooposite. the guy is strong. I'm more than sure he could hold his own, there’s no doubt, but he's not one to result in fighting unless he necessarily needs to. if jason wasn't surrounded by his friends, I'm more than sure he wouldn't have gone after eddie like he had. he's all talk but nothing more. he’s intimidated by him, threatened even. if eddie ever got himself into a situation where he's being cornered then he'll probably talk his way out of it.
#and you’ve got to think about the time period too#asks#eddie munson#eddie munson x reader#eddie munson x gn!reader#eddie munson headcanon#eddie munson hcs

YOU'RE MY FAVORITE
ex husband!eddie munson x reader/ ex husband!eddie munson x gn!reader
warning(s): pre pre-established relationship, they were married now they're not.
a/n: m'trying to get back into writing
—
You and Eddie were head to head. Literally.
His forehead pressed to yours, as he cupped your cheeks, putting more pressure as he pulled you closer than you already were. It was a gesture you were more than used to, seeing as he’d do it all too often at sudden times. Your noses nudging the others as your eyes looked into his.
It was still a question, if you guys were a thing, to those who saw you two.
Then- when you guys were much younger- you’d shrug it off like any other time someone mentioned it and answered with the all too familiar “we’re just friends,” even if neither of you knew it was more than that at the time.
But now, whenever you two were together, and that same question fell, it was always followed by one of you looking at the other with a small lift of the lips, before telling them the exact same thing, because it was just that.
You were friends.
Ones who fell in love at a young age, got married when you could, and then divorced a few ways into the relationship when that feeling suddenly wasn’t the same.
And that’s what pulled at your chest every time you were with him- it was just a reminder of the truth.
While you loved him, you just weren’t in love with him anymore.
The ache you felt upon the realization was nothing compared to what you felt when you told him. It had taken you time, trying to figure out how to tell the one you were supposed to grow old with, that you weren’t in love with them anymore. At the time, you thought your subconscious was keeping you from going forth with it. Or it could’ve been because you thought that in letting him go as your husband, you’d be letting him go as your friend too. Because before you guys were married, Eddie was your friend. He had been the best of them.
And when it had come to you telling him, you witnessed, just like always, the type of person he is, when he accepted it.
You’d never know why or how you ever fell out of love with someone like him.
Your eyes stare into his, now, as your foreheads were still pressed to the others. Your hands coming up to your face where it was being held by his own, your thumb stroking the back of his hand as you lean into the familiarity, closing your eyes.
You only opened them when you felt Eddie pull back, his lips stretching up slightly at the way your face scrunches when he suddenly pinches your nose.
While you may have lost him as your husband, your friend was still there. The only thing on your mind was how you wished they had asked that question few years earlier.

If eddie were to propose to you, it wouldn’t be very traditional, if at all. I see him even being taken back that he asked you when he did the way he did even if he had been thinking about it for a while. but it isn’t till after you answer that he’s like “it wasn’t supposed to be like that.’

It was hot.
you were sweaty, eddie was sweaty, the two of you were in little to nothing. him more so than you. and if it weren't for the way you were literally suffering, it would've been something you looked forward to seeing.
but it wasn't.
your sweat had sweat for god sakes. the only thing on your mind was how to end your obvious misery.
the two of you were on the floor in front of a battery powered fan because the ac decided to go out at the same time the temperatures were at their highest. and neither of you had got up from your spots to get out because it seemed to be hotter outside than it was in your place. and it's not like you could go to the pool either because neither of you had admissions for it. the little of what was left of your paycheck was spent on this supposed top rated fan that was limited edition.
it was not.
the thing barely rotating as you and eddie took turns to get in front of the hot air it blew. it was money out the window with how it turned out but it was something.
“this is pointless! and this fan is shit!” eddie exclaimed as he swatted the item.
“that’s limited edition your hitting!” you raised, pulling the fan closer to you and away from the hands of your boyfriend, who seems to have had enough of it.
“hey! what happened to sharing-” eddie voiced as he pulled it over to himself.
“and what happened to it being shit?!” you said, bringing up his own words that he used just seconds ago.
“I never said to take it for yourself though.”
it was beginning to be too much. but you expected nothing less given the circumstances. you just didn't like going at it with eddie even if it was for logical reasons.
you sigh, wiping your hand over your head, as you look at your boyfriend. "this is pointless, isn't it?" you question, chin resting in your hand.
eddie repeats your actions, sighing as he too wipes his head, turning off the fan.
"hey! turn that back on, are you shitting me?!" it was your turn to exclaim as you raise your brows at him.
"you just said it was pointless!" he defends.
"it was pointless arguing, edward." you reiterate, reaching over to grab the fan, only to be met with it not turning back on when you flip the switch.
"shit." it was voiced in unison. the two of you now sitting on the floor, in the heat, with no type of air circulation. you groan, shoving the fan to the side before lying yourself on the floor closing your eyes. eddie still sitting up as he watches.
you laid there for a while before he spoke.
"I've got spray bottles?"
at his words, your eyes open before your lifting your head up, brows raised when you understood just where he was going.
—
"ready?"
"ready for wh-" you hadn't even gotten to finish before your eyes shut and nose scrunched upon the sudden contact. then realizing what eddie's earlier suggestion meant.
"did you just spray me?"
"yes." he stated before spraying you again. "you looked a little hot."
he grinned as he took in his unintentional pun and gauged your reaction. your eyes slowly opened as your mouth began to stretch up ever so slightly. a sliver indication that showed you weren't all that affected by his actions. if anything, you were encouraged by them.
it's why an hour later you guys were lying wet on the floor, trying to catch your breaths from running around spraying each other.
and it wasn’t until then that you realized something that had slipped your mind previously.
“eddie.” your boyfriend hummed, looking over to you. the base of the fan at eye level as you stared at it.
“It’s battery powered.”
You guys had batteries.
