every time someone calls a cis man an egg because he decides to deviate even slightly from traditional masculine gender norms, an angel loses its wings

Fandom Problem #9079:
When people's "body positivity" activism starts and ends with fatness. No activism for women with masculine features/bodies. No activism for men with feminine features/bodies. No activism for androgynous bodies. No activism for bodies that are neither skinny nor fat. No activism for bodies that are skinny but still don't fit into body type standards. Noooo apparently fat bodies are the only bodies that are marginalized. Women with small tits/narrow hips and men with twinkish figures are part of the enforced body standards apparently. BITE ME.

If you consider yourself a feminist, but you don't care about non-white women, trans women, trans men, or cis men who experience toxic masculinity, then you are not a feminist, you are TREF
The rights of trans people are also the rights of cis women, because many cis women have problems with procedures because of fucked up laws, and many cis women are attacked for being "Not women enough", because they don't have a uterus, because they don't have periods, because they are infertile, etc...
By taking away the rights of trans women, you are taking away the rights of cis women
By saying that "Trans men are manipulated women" you are spreading misogyny because you claim that women are worse than men and less intelligent, this is not feminism, this is anti-feminism
By assuming that trans women are aggressive because they are men, you are spreading sexism, which is contrary to feminism and the fight against toxic masculinity
If you assume that black women are aggressive and overly masculine unlike white women, you are a misogynist and racist, not a feminist
If you assume that Muslim women are enslaved by the hijab and force them to take it off, you don't care about women, you are Islamophobic and you force women to wear whatever you want, which is against the idea of feminism
If you assume that a woman has to prove to you that she is a woman, you are a misogynist and a sexist, not a feminist
If you don't care about women from Congo, Sudan, Palestine, Syria etc… you are not a feminist, you are ignorant
If you don't care about women with disabilities, you're an ableist
You are not a feminist, you are a TREF who calls himself a "Feminist" (specifically a "Radical Feminist") and you are a parasite which makes it difficult to fight for the rights of all women
Women are strong, men and women are not as different as you want to believe, gender roles are harmful and harmful so don't defend them and don't fucking promote them, stop lying that you're a feminist when you spread transphobia, sexism, misogyny and racism
You're not a feminist, you're a piece of shit

If you're a TERF you're a gender fascist. No other way to spin it. You claim your ideology is about protecting women and children but what it actually necessitates is an overfixation on people's genitals and the persecution of a minority group that does not actually hold institutional power. You insist on fitting humanity into two strict boxes that do not reflect the true diversity present among 8 billion of us. The moment you start talking about "large gametes"--what the fuck are you doing?
All fascists cloak their actions in protective language. But unless you're going after the white male billionaire class that actually holds the most power and does the most harm to both humanity and the planet, you're not protecting anyone and your "resistance" is not worth anything.

Fandom Problem #8999:
Shut up about a fanartist being homophobic because they don't agree with the fandom's popular headcanons/ships.
Shut up about a creator being homophobic because they deconfirmed a popular gay headcanon/ship.
Shut up about a series being homophobic because they didn't make your popular headcanons/ships canon.
Just shut up about calling something homophobic because you're salty over the fact that your headcanons/ships aren't universal.

an important thing to remember about colonialism is that places that were colonized were not perfect utopia but often full of their own horrors and abuses
the other important thing to remember about colonialism that the above does not justify colonialism

The way 'feminist retellings' have become another name for multi-dimensional female characters being white-washed and reduced to misunderstood/wronged/abused woman who does conventionally evil things to protect herself/for the greater good will always make me want to hurl myself off of a cliff.
Often times, these retellings bear no respect for their original text, and simply write to be quoted on tumblr mood boards and praised by booktokers as 'subversive' and 'a new take on feminism.'
I need authors to stop writing feminist retellings until they understand that women can be
1. Evil
2. Ambitious
3. Cruel/unkind/selfish
And gender based violence against these women is not acceptable simply because of their actions. They do not need to be victims of earlier abuse, or extremely kind, or the chosen ones for violence perpetuated against them on the virtue of their gender to be condemned.

So a TikToker named Matthew Torres made the very public video asking “Where are the Latinos?” In the movie Sinners. And my entire thing is..why? He then also try to say that Ryan Coogler ripped off “Dusk Til Dawn” when I’ve watched both movies and I don’t see where anything was ripped off. Tropes that show up in a lot of horror movies, yes, but not ripped off.
Coogler’s film is realistic fiction. In the 1930s, yes there were Latinos in the Mississippi Delta, but due to the Great Depression many left the region due to the lack of work( and the lack of work is due to the skyrocketing prices to the point farmers couldn’t pay for the labor).
It’s like when those two Latino podcasters got upset Kendrick Lamar didn’t invite any Latinos on stage with him…on JUNETEENTH…
“Oh be had so much Latino representation in Black Panther 2”… first of all that was INDIGENOUS representation. Secondly, a lot of Latinos don’t include Haiti as a Latin country despite sharing an island with the Dominican Republic. Third, Ryan Coogler said in an interview he was inspired by Dusk Til Dawn, but the stories are in no way, shape, or form similar outside of two criminal brothers and vampires. Like in Dusk Til Dawn, they hold up a bar and then run and hide in another. in Sinners, the brothers are opening a bar. ( if you’re going to lie, make sure no one else checks)
Like I didn’t see Latinos do this with Crazy Rich Asians or Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Tangled the Series Hot Take
I actually never really liked Cass, even in season 1. Cass is jealous that Rapunzel is getting all the attention, girl you’re a castle servant of course the princess that’s been missing for 18 years would get attention. I also get that Rapunzel wasn’t the greatest friend sometimes but at least that can be excused by the fact that she was isolated for 18 years with a mad woman so of course Rapunzel would take traits from Gothel. Cassandra is a girl angry that she has to work hard to get noticed as if everyone else also doesn’t have to. Don’t even get me started on season three Cass that just kept on victim blaming Rapunzel and sympathizing with her abuser. Cass isn’t even controlled by Zhan Tiri when she’s taking joy in causing harm. Once a Handmaiden is the best example of this since Cass doesn’t even know that Zhan Tiri is there. Cassandra attacked civilians that were trying to escape her and go to the palace for safety, how in the world are we supposed to sympathize with that? Another thing that doesn’t sit right with me is that the flashback during the finale where Rapunzel made a picture of the three of them and Cass ripped Eugene off. That pissed me off, how is that a fond memory? I just wanted to see if there were others who agreed with me since I know there’s a lot of people who defend Cass and hate in negativity against her.
