A thing a friend and I made a couple years ago. (We didn't know what any hazard symbols meant at the time)

im incredibly conflicted by the phrase ‘the question is not who will let me but who will stop me’ because on one hand its so fucking raw and powerful but on the other hand it’s derived from ayn rand but on yet another hand the first and primary time ive ever seen it was on a picture of a lawnmower flying through the sky which is the perfect level of absurd and nonsensical that would piss ayn rand off

Above is an inspirational attitude adjustment to be applied as needed in these strange times
youtube
Above is a reconsideration (lengthy but important) that I believe allows folks to recontextualize their intense anger and disgust and remind us where that energy matters most. Justice is important, but your neighbors, your family, your community is more important.
Every place that can hold some news is causing me to test the boundaries of my restraint, in combination with a few other sharp details, it puts me in a very stupid headstate, possibly more impulsive towards conclusions than would be helpful.
Its okay to curate what brings you peace, its okay and very much preferable to build when they would rather you be wrought in despair.
Be ungovernable by being resilient, not just wrathful.

best thing tumblr ever did for me is the term "rotating it in my mind". it's really true that sometimes you think about something real hard but you can't tell what the thoughts are exactly. it's revolutionary stuff, i might even say

It's either displacement, or invasion. And that doesn't really help with answering the question.

They're kinda exciting - like hot damn, its time to see what we're made of...
Except...that one. There was one conversation I wanted to die rather than to have. Every semblance of difficulty laid out in the past and even after felt like faking it for the illusion of some empathic tinge/genuine consideration, all in comparison to how much I didn't want to have that conversation.
I didn't expect it and I don't care to divulge but it did surprise me how much I didn't want it. It was a beginning and an end of a process I value deeply to this day but my only reply to the "what if" on what I'd do if I could go back, would be that I do everything in my power and beyond to avoid it.
Time travel is banned tho, so I just have to live with the memory.
Fuck.

The sense you're making with this is freaking me out and I've been out of my 20s for long enough to carry hindsight.
your 20s are all about being stuck in the time loop
