Everything Is Resurrection. 4-track album on Opal Tapes by Agnes Haus aka Stephe - 'A few years ago I unceremoniously came out as non binary - an infinitely hard decision for me - actually dealing with something I have perpetually kept secretive - my identity. I was always so bent on being silent, elusive and impenetrable to the point of creating multiple personalities under different alias’s to help me deal with it all. That side of me is now stable and functional, but coming out wasn’t easy and it still isn’t. I don’t really feel part of a community, to be honest - just sort of alone like always - but I think it is ok. It’s why I am drawn inward to the dark. It’s what makes my audio output "bleak, fractured, murky, and melancholy" - words others have used to describe my music - they aren’t wrong. Resurrection isn’t so miraculous. Us just existing, however, is more improbable - to the point of impossible. I’m just here skimming through Voltaire, creating odd visuals, and doing gothy aural shit with a modular synth at night - kind of amazing. shrug.'
