Arthur: If you took a shot for every time you made a bad decision, how drunk would you be?
Hosea: Maybe a bit tipsy?
John: Drunk.
Dutch: Wasted.
Y/N: Dead.

Dutch: You asked everyone if they wanted mac and cheese?
Y/N: Yes.
Dutch: They said no.
Y/N: They did.
Dutch: So, you made mac and cheese?
Y/N: Uh huh.
Dutch: And then Micah came over and took a bowl of it, to which you-
Y/N: Took my Mac and Cheese back from that idiot and told him to go make his own damn cheesy noodles.
Dutch: But when Arthur asked for some-
Y/N: *Throwing their hands in the air* Well what do you expect me to do, let him STARVE??

At this point I’m not even playing Red Dead Redemption 2, I’m playing Red Dead Sims; bathing, feeding and clothing Arthur. Hunting, fishing, riding horses. Talking to people and having dinners by the campfire. Sul sul partner

I recreated my John Marston photo with Arthur and his horse. Same effects, same gun (different metals and engravings, these are two separate play throughs), almost exact same position. I took the photo of Arthur in the Heartlands because I felt it made sense for his story. If I took it in the desert, it wouldn’t feel right. Similarly, I took the photo of John in the desert because it makes sense for his story. It looked unnatural in the Heartlands, almost out of place. Even with the exact same effects, the backgrounds, the color of the horses, and the temperature of the images made them look different. John’s horse is black, the desert had more earthy orange tones, while Arthur’s horse is grey and white, and the colors behind them were greens and blues. I really enjoy how they both turned out.
