Unexpectedly, I’m back and doing more reading and coffee drinking than ever! It’s been a while since I posted on here, the final couple terms of my undergraduate moved away from the traditional studying format. But I have somehow found myself starting a Masters, so the cafe and study session energy has returned in full force.

17 October 2020 | The days when I’m happy about having carpet are few and far between, but today is one of them. Currently sprawled out with too many books open working on the first bit of my Maximus paper. Something that made me even more excited to receive the edition of Disputations with Pyrrhus pictured here is that it was packaged and shipped by one of the hieromonks of the monastery that published the English translation. A text written by a monastic distributed by a monastic—how very fitting.

Aah, this paper could not be more complicated!! Trying my best to prepare to present about it, without it taking up my whole weekend. 😬

I had a great morning - had scones for breakfast with my flatmates, and then got the haircut I've been dying for! 😊 Then this afternoon I felt sleepy and a little headachey, not exactly motivated, but candles and lofi are helping. Still don't reaaallly wanna be doing this, so I'll try and make it swift.🕯️

Hi everybody! I just posted a new video. This time I decided to just keep the rain sounds and background noise since it was raining while I was studying. It's also officialy sweater weather in Portugal, which I love 🍂🍁🍄

i’ve been consuming an increasing amount of tea, wearing cardigans and waking up to the sound of rain, which is to say: i’m experiencing autumn in seville and my heart is full 🌾

sometimes the realization of time passing gets overwhelming; usually in the meditation of a long-held yoga pose, when the nostalgia steadily hits and outside the sun is setting and i want to capture it all (the view, the sound of slow breathing, the longing for familiar touch)

yet another snow day; for some reason it felt like this time everyone was taking the day off. the online portal for my classes has been down for maintenance since this morning & no one is answering their emails. thankfully I had everything I needed saved/written down already. I've enjoyed these last 2 days at home finishing projects & pre-planning for the rest of the year. it's nice to still feel ahead when you're half way through the week.

Encore un jour de neige; pour une raison ou une autre, j'ai eu l'impression que tout le monde prenait congé cette fois-ci. le portail en ligne pour mes cours est en panne pour maintenance depuis ce matin et personne ne répond à ses courriels. heureusement, j'avais déjà sauvegardé/écrit tout ce dont j'avais besoin. J'ai apprécié ces deux derniers jours à la maison à terminer des projets et à planifier le reste de l'année. C'est agréable de se sentir encore en avance à la moitié de la semaine.
