I was so used to having friends around me and relied on them for so many things. As years went by, I kept receiving tests that made my friends leave me either on their own or forced by other people. SubhanAllah. The pain gets lesser and lesser day by day. But it was not fully gone. I am teaching myself, teaching my soul to understand to stop relying too much on people. Stop being dependent on them all the time. Because they, like me are mere creations of Allah. It is Allah alone who can truly fulfill our needs and wants. It is Allah who can truly satisfy our soul. So dear soul. Please stop opposing to this because of your lowly desires. Be strong. Be very strong to walk this alone. Though it's true other people could be signs of Allah's help for you but please bear in mind that it is from Allah alone that you ask for help. We are nothing without Allah. Nothing. Walk to Him. Indeed. In anything, the real purpose comes first. Other things; gifts & blessings are mere opportunities to act on the purpose. We have so many gifts and blessings from Allah just so we could know His Greatness, just so we could please and obey Him. Why should we limit ourselves to occupying our (precious) time to these two roles that we don't even have (yet)? Think about other gifts & blessings that He has given us. Wow. So it has been almost two weeks of the first month of this new year. So far, I've been spending my time reading both fiction & non-fiction books and brainstorming for upcoming projects & plans for this year. However, I forgot to do the most important thing in order to realise my goals and plans: Planner. It is not that I completely forgot about it. I was actually waiting for my sister who was going overseas last week for her short vacation trip to buy it for me- figuring that overseas could probably provide some better planners- quality and price wise. However, she couldn't find any. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed because I knew I could've just bought some good planners here at the local stores- most of the stuffs here are mostly imported anyway. Anyway, I guess this is just a petty matter. But let this be a reminder that I need to purchase a planner at least in the month before the new year, inshaAllah. What else... oh it's the flu season now. The weather started to become hotter lately. Many of my family and friends had been sick with the flu. And when you don't drink enough water, you're most likely to be affected by it. Like me 😔 Anyway, today was quite a productive for me. I finally a planner in a local superstore and I love it! I spent the rest of my morning and afternoon accompanying my grandma to buy groceries at the wet market at the beach and at the vegetable market nearby. I also cooked some chicken ball and tofu soup for the family. Alhamdulillah for today. May Allah forgive us with this sickness, may He grant us good health & wealth so we could do more good deeds for Him. Aamiin ya rabb.

Three hundred and sixty five days equal to one year. Indeed, each day is special in its own way as when the sun rises it gives one hope to work on their goal. When the sun sets, it also gives another hope that it will rise again the next day, inshaAllah. And this is the nature of this 'alam as created by Allah SWT.
