My friends found a faerie in the pumpkin patch and they were just so cute I had to draw them~

I miss Web 1.0, where if you wanted to find something you needed to go down the rabbit hole of webrings. It was nice having something actually curated by a person, rather than relying on algorithmic popularity.

Anyway, here's a copy of Katharine Mary Briggs's Dictionary of Fairies: Hobgoblins, Brownies, Bogies, and Other Supernatural Creatures (1976).

I like a lot of Briggs's work, and this is one of the more accessible entries. Also gives a nice broad outlook of how THEY appear across the isles of Great Britain, Mann, and Ireland.
