You give a great explination here about Litten’s final evoution, and I’ll easily respect this concept as well as wait and see if gamefreak actually makes it this or fire/fighting on Thursday/Friday. So people, while I admit I’m a Popplio fan through and through, Litten is my second choice and for the love of god take a pill please, the typings haven’t been confirmed yet!!!!

Someone did translations of the notes on the starter evolution reference sheets

1. Has a wild and gusty persona 2. Fights dirty- spits ember in its opponents face, isn’t above using unconventional items or means, uses Fire Spin from its belt. 4. Has a signature move called Beast\Tiger Swing??? 5. That Belt gets hotter the more “passionate” it is.

Now what type is all about fighting dirty and using unconvential means? That’s right, Dark.

Spitting in its opponents faces also alludes to Asian mist, an illegal maneuver in pro wrestling, commonly used by heels (the bad guys).

In wrestling terms, Fighting-type Pokemon are the faces (good guys) and Dark-type Pokemon are the heels (bad guys). 

It is not set in stone that Litten’s final evo is Fire/Fighting. There’s much more evidence towards it being Fire/Dark.

If this leak is real in the future, then I’m hoping for two things out of this.  One popplio’s evolutionary line is part fairy (very likely).  And two, popplio turns out to have a majority female ratio (unlikely).  Great artwork though no matter what.
