While speaking with Collider about his new series, Countdown, Ackles addressed the reunion with his former co-star, Padalecki, on The Boys, and the excitement about working together again was obvious.

“There’s a reason he and I did that show for 15 years because we truly got along, we truly enjoy working together, and we’re effectively brothers in real life, too," Ackles said.

"So any time we get a chance to mix it up and do stuff, it’s always a blast. He’s the best. You can put us two in front of anything; we’ll get the job done.”
