Did you hated Zero when he first appeared and growed to like him in his other stuff?

I remember that I did but after re-watching his other stuff POST Galaxy legend movie, I realized why I used to like Zero in the past before Bandai and Sakamoto start to milk him in New gen.

Zero on his other stuff lost a bunch of times, get killed and always wins with the help of someone which is something Nice cause it doesn't make him look invincible as he was portrayed in his first appearance and his character was balanced in a Cool way.

I come to realize that the reason for this was the fact that some people who worked on Cosmos/Nexus/Mebius did work on the rest of the Zero Saga excluding the Galaxy movie who it was made by Sakamoto who only comes back to Ultraman for Ginga S.

So from day one, the people who built Zero's character were the people who worked on Cosmos/Nexus/Mebius.

heck there are even scenes in retsuden where Zero can't beat Seven and Jack and this brings a good touch to Zero and deviates from this nonsensical notion that ZERO IS THE STRONGEST ULTRA.

Did you feel the same way?

I didnt dislike Zero when I first watched the UG Movie when I was a kid but I rmb I was really mad that the UB were made to be so weak, but of course that was when until I realized that they were reasonably nerfed several years later.

And tbh personally I never saw Zero as "invincible", just always "lucky", lucky that he was amped by likely both King, Plasma Spark, and Belial being weakened after reviving 100++ kaiju (we saw with Reibatos that this is a thing) in the first movie, lucky that he had Noa amped him in the 2nd Movie, lucky that he was facing a severely weakened Belial again in Geed etc.

Which tbh, is all on purpose by TsuPro to build up Zero's perceived image

And of course he's an enjoyable character, its because TsuPro purposely made him that day, I think less than a handful of other ultras actually even have a "character" to begin with since this is essentially a kid's show

Zero being portrayed as the "strongest ultra" is nothing new as its the annual message being shoved down our throats with every new season no? The most on the nose one was literally Max, promoted as the being the "strongest and fastest" when he's neither of those. Plus all the Magazine scans of "strongest form", "strongest fusion" etc. Not to mention in movie trailers, "Most Evil", "Strongest Enemy in History" and it just turns out to be a remodelled Black King suit (Repodios)

And of course I think its undisputed that Zero, even in US (WB) isnt on the level of the UB, the main contention in the powerscaling arm of fandom rn is just how much stronger he is compared to the average NG ultra

What the flying fuck happened with Darkness Five?

I heard some rumors saying they died after belial destroyed the universe in geed ep 1 or the Space Garrison destroyed them before they tried to go after Belial which is where Belial Kicked Zero's butt scene happened

But neither of these were shown

So I can't trust both of these rumors

Theres no official confirmation on this afaik

But considering that we saw Belial was facing against a battalion of the IGDF during Omega Armaggedon, and that only Kei was assisting in Belial's revival throughout Geed, its safe to assume that they all died during Omega Armaggedon

On a side note, iirc in the stageshows, a new Darkness Five was announced, consisting of 5 of the new stageshow exclusive suits

UHS Omega Trigaron Armor

Didn't expect to have a Gilarc Galaxy Armor official pic like this, almost 5 months after the movie but here we are

There have been popular movie characters before but have yet to make a reappearance like Evil Trigger that I posted here a couple years back

I really do hope they make a return tho. But the only way I see Gilarc especially making a return is in a UGF context with Tartarus plucking him out of a parallel universe/past since the Gilarc Cube disappeared and he needs a new Arc Ariser to transform, as Yuma in the Movie borrowed the 2nd Arc Ariser from his future self

In fact, id like to see Tartarus bringing back all the "evil" ultras as part of his legion but in the end, some of them "defects" to the Ultras like Gilarc and Orb Dark etc

Since Mebius & Ultra Bros 2 was cancelled and they could not bring back Kotaro

how would you make a Second movie for Mebius & Ultra Bros without much budget issues?

Cause I still think Superior 8 makes no freaking sense with Alternative versions and making TDG team up with Mebius and the 4 Bros since they are from completely different universe

Ye Superior 8 was honestly felt like a fever dream cause it was so random

Anyways since youre asking specifically about practicality here, id keep the main Kotaro plotline, and simply cut down the other references of the other 4 series until it fits whatever budget planned. Cause while theres alot of really neat references, I also pointed out the that script is waayyy too long for a 2h movie

Omega ratings on BilliBilli have hit a new low when the average NG series is around 9.2/10

Really hope it picks up on time in the 2nd half like what Masayoshi hinted at

But the fact that he didnt outright recognize their names when he knows about the other kaiju suggests that either they are unique (bioengineered on his home planet maybe?) Or like Therisaurus (which he didnt recognize either), they are a rare species thats unique to Omega's home planet as well

This series feels like it could go south really fast.

And definitely these bunch saw Trigaron taking Kosei away, not to mention being recorded by so many peeps

Why does Trigaron have such a similar roar to Rekiness?

So its by coincidence that Trigaron crashed into a hibernating Gomora

And since it was just orbiting Earth prior, means Trigaron was lost as Omega fell to Earth

Does that mean Valgeness is the same? That hes currently also just lost in space as well

Why is Omega like this when hes not even in the red yet (edit: nvm he's sick but my arguement still stands)

The lengths current ultraman series will go through in order to neccessitate the appearance of another character bruh this is just ass writing

This is similar to the Orb Movie where rmb everyone was rightfully pissed at OT losing when he shouldve easily won just to explain why Seven needed to show up (after Orb literally showed that he couldve easily whooped everyone regardless)

Same with other series where the ultra clearly hasnt tried everything against say the mid boss in order to explain why they needed the super form, like most recently in Arc where he literally couldve whooped 80% of all kaiju in his series with Luna Armor alone, especially against Zadime in order to explain why he needed Galaxy Armor

Even 10 years ago, X was weakened when he lost to Tsurugi Demaaga because of the Dark Thunder Energy debuff. So theres always this lingering thought where if say the Ultra wasnt weakened by whatever reason, would the upgrade really be even neccessary in the first place

One example I see how this was answered was in Orb against Maga Orochi where he really tried everything, all forms, all their best moves and still lost. Thus without a doubt, TB was needed

So rn, Rekiness losing in such a pathetic manner + Omega feeling sick is needed to explain why they needed Trigaron makes these developments feel really lazy

At least lose to a Choju or an EX kaiju, any of them wouldve been far more acceptable than this, highlight Rekiness' weak points to emphasize Trigaron's advantages over speed and agility in the battle. Something specific like say Quadraped Horoborus

I never understood why TsuPro wanks Gomora this much

Like I get if he was popular back in rhe UG period but wtf is this bruh

Gomora is no way in hell that strong and Rekiness is no way in hell that weak (should be at least on par with a choju like Shepardon, which choju are easily able to wipe the floor with the average kaiju)

Like I get why the Gomora back in UG was OP as heck since it was like pokemon where u can actually actively train up your kaiju

But we went from Rekiness being far more useful than most kaiju companions in the franchise to getting defeated so easily by a wild gomora, at least have him put up a brawl here and maybe have him tap out or something

This feels like Decker all over again with the Capsule kaiju since they were always defeated in such a pathetic manner

The only copium I have here is as I pointed out in ep 3, where this isnt Rekiness' full power since hes also suffering from amnesia + intrinsically nerfed as his body needs to be entirely piloted by Kosei
