Wearing that suit was transformative, for sure. As a performer I can say that I trusted it was doing almost all the work for me because it is so iconic.

Okay, I'm not necessarily into the whole viral-challenge-vs-giving-money thing, but this just made me laugh.

Dad and Mother never fought. My niece Caroline Kennedy tells of asking Mother once,
"Did you and Grampa ever fight?"
Mother said, “Oh no, dear. No, Grampa and I never fought.”
Caroline said, “Well, how did you handle your differences?”
Mother replied, “I would always just say, ‘Yes dear,’ and then I’d go to Paris.”

Just came across this pic on my dashboard. I’ve never seen it before. So cute!

Forget the ugly Christmas sweaters! Mrs. Kennedy dressed in style at the White House Christmas Party. Here’s an up-close view of the dress worn by Mrs. Kennedy to the 1962 staff Christmas reception at the White House.
Designed by Hubert de Givenchy, this dress is made of deep pink silk radzimir. There is minimal detail on the front of this dress, but the back has a ribbed-weave silk fabric twisted and finished with a hand tied bow.

On this Christmas Eve, we felt it was fitting to share this beautiful mother of pearl nativity scene from our collections. This Creche Shadowbox was presented to Caroline and John F. Kennedy Jr. by Hussein bin Tal, the King of Jordan, as a Christmas gift.

JFK’s College Christmas Card
Most people know President Kennedy as a Harvard man, but did you know he also briefly went to Princeton? We have proof! Check out this 1935 Christmas card from JFK and his Princeton roommates from the archives of the Mudd Library at Princeton University. President Kennedy spent only a few weeks at Princeton as a freshman before returning home due to illness and transferring to Harvard.

Quote
Christmas holidays in the Kennedy family…a tapestry of many places, people, and radiant memories. And yet, looking back, I find it difficult to recall any specific gifts we gave the children, or even that they gave to each other on their saved-up allowances. I remember we always had a tree, wherever we were, and sometimes a friend who played Santa. But the presents themselves do not seem that significant.
