I’m trying to find this fic. Peeta lies about having a baby works but now they actually have to have kids and get married. The rebellion still happens but not til years later. I think they end up having 3 kids and Katniss is dreading the day one of their names get pulled in the reaping. During the rebellion they make propaganda videos and Katniss is hesitant bc she loves her family, but Peeta lets her know it’s okay. She eventually finds her own way to talk about what happened to them.

And since Peeta isn’t at the Capitol to warn them about the bombing, Everlark gets separated. There’s this woman Peeta meets during this time and Peeta is unknowingly flirting with her until he realizes what’s going on. He then tells her Katniss is his life and lets her down. They eventually get reunited. Please lmk if a fic like this sounds familiar

The best part of the percy jackson books is that from percy's perspective hes just an easygoing funny cool guy who seems pretty harmless but the moment you see him from someone elses pov hes terrifying. Just a crazy good fighter, a force of nature killing machine, literally gets mistaken for a god in disguise. But he doesnt see that side of himself at all because hes too busy arguing with authority figures and respecting women. I love him

The nuance that the show is adding to Poseidon and Sally’s relationship is insane. Her creating a makeshift offering? The way you can SEE the tension in Sally release when the rain starts? Their talk about Percy? Rick you’re brilliant for this.

Watching the Percy Jackson series has made me empathize with Aphrodite more than I ever thought possible.

Cuz these kids are TWELVE and are out here just trying to SURVIVE, but every time Percy and Annabeth interact I’m giggling and kicking my feet like “Hehehe you don’t know it yet, but that is the love of your life. Yes, yes, there’s a big scary monster but what about the slow-burn romance?”

And I always found it so annoying in the books when Aphrodite would show up and only be interested in the romantic dynamics between the characters and otherwise be kinda useless. But now??? I’m totally on the same page with her. Cuz I know they’re going to fight a million monsters and win, and at the end of the day one fight looks just like the next. But they only fall in love ONCE and it’s AMAZING.

Like damn. Apologies the goddess Aphrodite. I suddenly get it.
