With many online manga reader getting DMCA and shutting down has me trying to finish reading as many manga as I can. I have been reading one volume a day and I feel like Imma burn myself out with the type of series I read. I have also been trying to buy some of my manga physically but it becomes really difficult when it hard to find certain volume for series. Like I haven't been able to find Yasuba to! Volume 2 but I have been able to find from volume 7 and onwards. If this becomes an issue for other series that I want to read or want to get into I might just try and rush read as much as I can before all these websites go down.

I am very upset. I finished reading Hikaru no Go and it feel like it didn't finish. Like the last chapter leaves on a giant cliffhanger for what's to come and it just ends. With out spoiling to much the main character plays a game of Go in honor of one of his friends and after the make they say something like I will see him again and it is my job to make sure that happens. Then it cuts to what is presumably his friend trying to talk to him and the series ends. And another thing, the series hypes up this concept within the series only mentions it a handful of times and then never fulfill the expect of that thing happening. It like if Naruto after the rescue Sasuke mission as we see Naruto in bed rapped in band aids telling Sakura that he will bring back Sasuke for sure next time and then the whole series end, no Shippuden. That's how it felt to read the ending of this series.
I think the biggest problem I have with the series is not that it's bad, but that it was really good as I was reading it and it end just like that.

Monster Hunter is so much fun. The game really put itself on the map real quick and I continue to chug away at collecting everything. I found out that, though your rank sits still for story reason you still gain experience point for all the hunts you do. Which causes me and my friend to not progress in the story to see how big of a jump we can make after unlocking high rank. My friend is just helping all of our other friend play the game. While I am trying to collect all the armors for low rank for both the player and the palico. I probably go back and collect all the weapons as well even if I am never going to use most of them. The only problem is that I don't have as much time as I wish I had to be able to do this so now I am struggling along to finish everything while my friends wait for me to catch up to do end game content.

I finished reading Undead Unluck and the only grip I have with the series is the pacing. Like most of the series is them either fighting or them planning for the next fight. I enjoyed the parts where they would go over the characters backstories because it was the only break from the constant you beat that enemy here's the next one. I guess I really can't give it too much hate for what it does because there is a story reason to why there is no down time better each conflict because they literally have a means to time travel and there is another reason but I feel like I'll be spoiling a big part of the series. But all in all a great series, can't wait for it to all get animated.

I ran into an issue I didn't know exist. I only notices it recently because it has become a common issue now. The issue is when you watch an anime that has one season and it leaves on a cliffhanger. So you decide to check out the manga to see how far the anime got in the series. Only to find out that not only is the anime the first 15 to 20 chapter of the series out of 40 or more. Not only that but they skip a lot of parts from the manga to try to make a more interesting anime but end up skipping a lot of context that is need for the series. The series that this has happen to me have been Alien 9, Area 88 and Blame!. I already know I am going to run into this issue again in the future especially with older amines but if I run into this issue into a newer anime I am going to hate it even more.

My social life is now a ticking time bomb. With Monster Hunter Wilds coming out in the end of February I have to enjoy as many of my friend company before it come out. After it comes out my time will be restricted to playing Monster Hunter and finishing any gacha dailies that I choose to keep up with. That and practicing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 to get better so if I end up going to EVO I at least feel confident in playing the game again.

I'm angry with myself with how much I plan to things. Even plan out when I am going to do it and something always pops up and I don't say no to be able to stick with my plans. Like I said that I had a project half way through and I was planning to work on it this pass 3 day weekend. But then I said yes to two different things on that weekend and I only have myself to blame. Luckily, I was able to work on it they day I had free. Hopefully I'll have more time to work on this project some more this weekend because I have been putting off this project for almost 6 months and I don't have an excuse to put it off any more.

I watch Odd Taxi and thought it was great. But the ending has me wanting for more which sucks because from what I could find online that is where the series just ends. To be fair for my search, I did look at more that what I could find that was apart of the official release of the manga only being in Japanese and maybe two days of research. What I did find is that the show has a prequel movie that explain a lot that happen before the events of the anime series. But I feel like it won't fulfill what I want for the ending for the anime series but I won't know until I watch it.
I also started reading Tomo's B-side and enjoyed the first volume. I haven't really looked up how many chapter there are to not spoil or disappoint myself to how much there is to read. Hopefully the series has a strong run and a good story pass the first volume.
Lastly, I have about 50% of a project done and I have been lazy about finishing the other 50% just because I an still playing with the tool that I am using to work on this project. Hopefully I can figure out how to use it to then finish my project.

With 2025 here already, i have made plans to do more for myself this year. Hopefully I can hold myself to these words. It's been 5 days and I have been keeping up so far. My only problem is that one day I might say that I need a day off from what I am doing and would stop for an entire month. So I need to hold myself to at minimum weekly updates for myself.
Here what's been happening. I am almost caught up with Reincarnated as a Slime manga. I started watching the original Sakura Wars but haven't gotten pass the second episode. I have beaten the story for No Straight Roads and I might go back to collect all the power-ups. I started to learn HTML for just the knowledge of knowing it, maybe I make a website with this knowledge someday. I have planned out what art piece I want to finish by the year while starting to pick up drawing again. I have picked up a new manga series at the book store called Tamon's B-Side. And I'm going to start watching Odd Taxi soon.
I'll keep up to date each week on what happens but enjoy any updates or snippets of what I have been up to or what I work on if I upload anything during the week

While writing my Honkai Starrail AU I feel like I don't have all the information from the game to be able to write some of the characters. Like, I haven't done any of the companion missions and I recently did one and I learned more about the characters that were apart of the quest. This information drastically changes the way I would write some of the characters and who each character would interact with or avoid. I feel as if I will keep writing some character within their stereotype, until I play these mission.
Spoiler for this mission but;
The mission has Black Swan and Sampo going through a little act that Sparkle put them through. After the mission Sampo and Sparkle have an interaction that builds more on Sampo background and shows that these two are were part of the same group at some point. This is something that is never talked about in the main story of the game and as far as I know could only really be found out by doing this mission. Now when I would write a scene using Sampo and Sparkle I'll use this interaction between each other to help write how they would interact in my AU. I really need to play the rest of the companion missions.

With the 20th anniversary of Cave Story I would like to share the story of the first time I played it and the first time I beat. First when I played it, I uses to pirate games as was a kid and I was looking for games that I could play comfortably on keyboard. I found the game for Windows and to my surprise, it worked. I started playing it but as I got to the Village I got stuck as I didn't read any of the dialog, so I ended up never progressing further than that and I stopped playing the game. I never bother looking up a tutorial or a playthrough at that time to help me progress. I just stopped playing.
Moving to when I first beaten it. It was a couple year back, I owned Cave Story+ on Steam for a bit, but I got into modding handheld consoles like the PSP, PS Vita, and the 3DS. On my modded PSP I was looking up websites to download games that were compatible with the PSP that I can put on and try out and I stumble on a page to download Cave Story for the PSP. So I installed the file, transferred it to my PSP, and downloaded it to see if it worked. And load and behold, it worked. That night I was looking at all the games I had downloaded and started playing it. By the time it was the morning I was near an ending, but I didn't know that. I just kept playing because I didn't have anything planned or schedule the day of, so I just kept playing. I eventually beat the game by the afternoon that day and then I went to sleep so after.
But the ending I got didn't really feel right to what I saw online. So I looked up a playthrough and realized that I got the normal ending. So I decided to follow the playthrough for the True ending on my copy of Cave Story+ on Steam in the hardest difficulty but have restarted multiple times as I had messed up a step. I still haven't finished it and an planning to finish it after I play all of Shovel Knight again.

I'm a big fan of School AUs. I don't know what that says about me, but if it's a series that I am really into or know a bit about the story I like to find School AU stories of said series. I recently took it upon myself to try to write one. I started a Honkai Star Rail AU, where the both the male and female options are the main characters. They're related to each other as twins and are orphans, and instead of them being adopted by the Nameless, they flop around from being close to those of the Nameless and of the Stellaron Hunters. Then all the other character either be close to Stelle or Caelus, rarely both. Stelle known for her above average academic, works at a convenient store to help provide her share, rarely has time after school to do anything. Caelus known as the school new star freshmen, collects recyclables to make any extra cash for the both as well as collecting any thrown out stuff that can still be used. That's the basic of how I laid out the story. Hopefully as more characters and stories get added to the game I can expand more on how each character would interact with each other.

I feel like I have officially burned myself out on reading Manga. Like, I have 15 manga that I have started and haven't went back to finish or catch up with them. And instead of choosing to finish them I would start a new series or reread an ongoing series because I lost my spot of where I was. Like I started Beelzebub and got to chapter 6 and have been really enjoying it thus far, but instead of continuing to read the series I have opted to reread Reincarnated as a slime because I lost my spot of where I was in term in chapters. And to avoid spoiling myself of what to happen, I chose to start from the very beginning reading 10 chapters per day. I really need to write down where I leave off somewhere so I could stop this problem from happening again.

I caught up with the the latest chapter of Gachiakuta. At this point I need to read something that much longer than 300 chapters or I could probably catch up with it in a week or two with the amount of chapter I read in a sitting. I feel like Detective Conan would be a good choice as it has over 1100 chapters and it would give me something to read each day if I read a volume per day. I just need to find a webpage that shows me which chapters are for which volume so I don't over read or under read chapters per day.

I finished reading Ace of the Diamond and now I'm in a conundrum on what to read next. I thought I should read another completed, older series so I started to read Beelzebub. Thought how funny the first few chapters were, I felt like this wasn't something I feel like reading. So then I thought of finishing a series I had already started but none of those had caught my interest. Then I finished watching season 1 and 2 of Tsukimichi: Moonlight Fanstay and thought it was interesting so I started to read it to see what happens next. It's been 3 days and I'm already caught up to it and since it's ongoing now I have another thing on my list that I have to wait for the next chapter to come out. I really just read finished series.

I do this end of the year thing with my music on Spotify where I listen to all my music in my liked playlist to see if I still like the some years, month, weeks, or days later from when I added it to that playlist. I need to start sooner than the end of the year because each year the playlist get larger with all the new songs I find or get released. I know its not the largest playlist that people have see but I have a little over 4000 songs and 253 hours of music to listen to in total. And I'm only on song number 233. Hopefully I can finish it without missing out on too much music by not liking it and to not make the things I need to listen to larger.

I recently finished reading "The Hunter Guild: Red Hood" by Yuuki Kawaguchi. As I finished it I was sad that the series has ended. I felt that the series had end off well but, I want to see more of this world and its people. I enjoyed the series so much that I read some of the other one shots that the author had made like "The Land of the Hermit Crabs" and "No hope, No Pulse" and I could confidently say that they are one of my favorite authors. I'll probably go read the rest of the one shots that they have written. I highly recommend it, it's only 18 chapters long, short and sweet, and I hope it gets animated in the future.
