i do like that she added that to the album because she's just showing how messy and bad everything was and that she's not some angel who would never even veer into that territory

i think it's an explanation of what was running through her brain for those few months. i think i had an idea about what was going on but god i had no idea it was This Bad ya know?

honestly it makes sense that the matty thing pushed her over the edge she was already going through a breakup and having a hard time and here this man comes probably knowing why her ltr fell apart and makes false promises about marriage and kids and destroys what little spirit and hope she had left by abandoning her. Its not the demise of one relationship or the other its the compounding of all of that.

unless i really focus on the production i genuinely do not notice a different in production between jack songs and aaron songs for the first album

weirdly enough, the first volume of the album is distinct and stronger sonically for me, but the second all blends in so I’m just sticking with the black dog, imgonnagetyouback, and the albatross from that volume

second volume blends a TON for me but my stick-outs are also "the black dog" plus "the prophecy" and "the manuscript"
