DICE vampires go brrrrr

once again the DICE brainrot has gotten to me and demands they be a group of vampires hanging out together, vampire petty crime gang.

in what ways could they use their vampirisim to their advantage with their crimes? they can dodge cameras alot easier, get out of the reach of police faster, hide in bat form- perhaps even echolocation could be useful. im sure you could also find a way for them to make feeding non violent too if you really try hard enough

my partner and i were talking about slashers, and while i don't wanna make an au where they are slashers or are being chased by slashers, i wanna involve slashers in my saiouma.

Here's the concept i came up with instead:

What if au where they're all collage age, and DICE made a homemade slasher film because one of them had a film class that's final was to make a feature length film. Regardless of grade they decided to post it to youtube because they thought it'd be a waste to make it only for no one to see it.

However shortly after posting it they kinda forgot about it, and while they forgot about it the internet didn't- their film gained a decently sized but still small fanbase. the only thing was, because they didn't want their names out online they cut the credit roll out, and thus the amazing team behild it is completly unknown to online fans.

Now hear me out- what if Shuichi was a horror fan, and he really loves the movie DICE made- he holds it up as his favorite indie production and recomends it to anyone online asking for suggestions. and what if he met Kokichi in collage a few years after the movie was made, Kokichi who happened to have played the Jester-Slasher in the film DICE made. what if they hit it off and became pretty good friends.

Shuichi ofc doesn't reconize Kokichi due to the costume and editing, but he does think the creepy ass faces he pulls reminds him alot of the "makeup"(cough it wasn't makeup cough) they used to make the slasher in the film look uncanny.

Now what if he told Kokichi about the film and basically info dumpped on him about it, probably mentioning how his smiles remind him of the slasher. and what if Kokichi had to sit there trying not to lose his cool as this really cute guy he totally doesn't have a phat crush on unknowingly complements the shit out of him as he rambles about how much he adored the Slasher's screen presence.

funny dumb idea, Saiouma vs sunburns

it's summer, my brain is in summer mode, my Kokichi hcs are summer coded, can't not do something about sunburns right? so i ask y'all- which one of them is more likely to get sunburned in your hcs, and how well (or not) to the handle having said sunburn. and to bring the gayness back into it, do they try to help each other when the other gets sunburnt?

for my hcs personally i wanna say Shuichi would be more likely cause while him having darker skin in my hcs does make it slightly harder for him to burn than Kokichi, between the two Kokichi's the one who spends more time outside and probably has proper routines that help him avoid sunburn- especially because he spends alot of time in the water

Shuichi has no such habits, if he had his way he'd never go outside at all- he uses a lil bit of sunscreen and think's he'll survive (he will not). don't worry tho, Kokichi will pamper him about it, both out of love and as an excuse to tease him a little. treats him like royalty in the most "i love you but lmao" way

Au where Kokichi is a singer and Shuichi composes all his music for him

this is an idea i got from Beez talking about something similar, the idea Kokichi is a solo artist who use to make all his songs on his own, but because he only really knows how to play one instrument and is no good with music programs he couldn't get his music to sound the way he really wanted it to.

to remedy his problem he went searching for someone who's really good at playing instruments and/or using music programs and shares a similar musical vision to him to hopefully try and make his music partner- enter Shuichi, a musician who is really damn good at what he does but isn't confident enough to put his music out there very often and happens to compose in the same genre as Kokichi

interesting thought- i've always been fascinated with the idea of Shuichi having a fall out with Kaito and Kaito blaming it on Kokichi, right?

what if au where like- a month before they graduate hpa Shuichi has his fall out with Kaito and Kaito starts blaming Kokichi for poisoning Shuichi's mind and turning him against him (to be fair it was Kokichi's genuine advice that led to Shuichi deciding to cut Kaito out of his life, it just wasn't intentional on Kokichi's part to damage their friendship) and ofc it's only worsened by the fact Kokichi is dating Shuichi. where it gets fun is after they graduate, while Shuichi finally officially leaves Kaito behind, Kokichi decides to actively stay in contact with Kaito

Kokichi lowkey felt really bad about the fall out they had and it was never his intention to destroy their friendship, so he stays in contact with Kaito hoping to try and repair the damage- or at least get on better terms with Kaito as compensation. he can't control Shuichi, and he doesn't want to, so while he may never be able to get them to be friends again he wants to try doing something about it cause he feels guilty even tho it wasn't truely his fault

idk there's something funky about Kaito blaming Kokichi for the loss of Shuichi's friendship and Kokichi trying to extend an olive branch in his own weird Kokichi way by casually attempting to be friends with Kaito

i have this distinct mental image of Kaito being not in a good headspace, and he finds himself confiding in Kokichi while sitting on a curb with him sharing snacks Kokichi got at the corner store down the street. the whole situation makes him finally cave and confront Kokichi about his actions and they get to have a lil heart to heart sitting there on the curb where Kokichi half admits his guilt and Kaito finally realizes he really does mean well

Kokichi having a very fucked sense of trust my beloved

i don't think i talk about his trust issues enough and honestly that's a crime on my part. this man can fit so much trust issues in him.

i personally think my favorite way of showing his trust issues is him forcing people to work hard for his trust, if you want it you have to go through the worst of his nasty facades to prove yourself worthy of nuggets of who he really is. as results only people who were already close to him before he developed this defense mechanism and really damn stubborn people can actually get through to him, and even then depending on how fresh the trust is it can be pretty easy to break with small things.

he's kinda like a spicy kitten in that right- he spats and hisses but will eventually trust, but if you slightly break his trust or overwhelm him too early on he relapses and you end up several steps back in the process. i imagine Shuichi had to deal with alot of trial and error getting to know him because of this, but Shuichi wants to know him so he sits there with his metaphorical kitty gogurt trying to spspspspsp Kokichi out of the corner of his mental cage

because his trust is so precarious and difficult to achieve and maintain, he tends to perceive other's trust as working the same way by default. unless it's someone who wears their heart on their sleeve, Kokichi assumes everyone else is hard to earn the trust of and once recived is a balancing act to maintain, which means when he breaks someone's trust he kinda just- falls into this mindset of "i destroyed everything and our relationship may never recover", then ends up blind-sighted and confused when they forgive him so soon after, maybe even calling them weak or too trusting cause in his mind it's like "why the fuck would you forgive that easily?? i didn't even make an attempt to make up for it and you forgive me???"

it's also worth mentioning that i like to imagine that Kokichi is serious about his privacy and stuff and has a very particular ideal of what he considers private, this ideal usually being anything from what people usually consider private info (ie; where he lives, his trauma, his family life, medical shit) to stuff that are uniquely Kokichi (ie: hobbies, food preferences, what he and his friends like to do together, even how to interact positively with him).

because he's so serious about his privacy, regardless of how insignificant you deem it, he will feel like his trust was violated if you tell anyone without running it by him first. he claims it's for the mystery, but really he's just paranoid and trying to keep up a facade he can control- micromanaging who knows what harmless fact about him to feel comfort, telling someone something as simple as his favorite animal without his permission throws him into a tizzy

hear me out- Shuichi met Kokichi because Kokichi and DICE were doing baby's first con by swindling strangers out of money with a lemonade stand. they had some cheapo store bought lemonade they initially started selling genuinely out of a makeshift stand one of their parents helped them set up, but after a while they got bored about it and started plotting ways to con adults out of money by using their cute looks

Shuichi- another kid ofc- walks by the stand with his uncle and while uncle knows they're trying to con him he stops by and plays along with DICE's shenanigans anyways cause he doesn't see any real harm in it. Shuichi however sees through their shit and will not let this stand, very adamantly warning his uncle about their con. DICE obviously does not appreciate being outed, and Kokichi declares that from that moment on Shuichi shall be their sworn rival

imagine like years down the line, saiouma's dating, and one of their HPA friends dare ask how they met- how tf are they gonna explain childhood lemonade con rivals

just realized something about Miu that i don't think i'eve ever seen anyone acknowledge

the game tends to play it off as a joke and treats her like a mad scientist with ridiculous dreams, but Miu's goal to make an invention that could help her do things while asleep would genuinely improve the lives of millions of disabled people. i mean for fuck sake she got the idea because she had been in a coma, how much more explicitly "this is a disability aid" could you get

if Miu were to ever actually succeed in her goal it would change the landscape of disability aids forever. imagine the amount of people with disabilities that prevent them from being able to move around and do things on their own that could get a chance to be independent if she made a machine like that available.

like yeah sure i'm sure some people would get the invention to be lazy, but who cares about that when fully paralyzed people can now cook for themselves.

i don't really know where to go with this outside of being positive he'd make some seriously unhinged mods, i was simply inspired by the chaos that is doctor4t and how he actually made a mod to stop the damage screen tic affect instead of just digging in the settings a little longer

dude i don't know where the fuck my brain pulled this idea from but it was funny so i'm doing it

imagine Shuichi being a man of science thinking everything must have some sorts of explanation somehow, then Kokichi- a being of literal magic- shows up and crashes his study for the lols

obviously this leads to saiouma shenanigans where Shuichi tries to understand Kokichi and falls in love with him in the process, but it's slightly funnier than normal cause it's a dork with human grade science trying to puzzle out a trickster with fae magic with mixed results. tons of trolling potential on Kokichi's part here

you could also use this as prime "let Shuichi loosen up and live a little" fodder too

DICE never use fireworks in their pranks and schemes cause Kokichi refuses to let them, he use to not hate them so much but he's grown to have a vendetta against them for being one of the worst sensory things in existence. he can't even enjoy them for the prettiness anymore, he just wants them to fuck off. Shuichi once made the mistake of asking him to go to a new years fireworks show exactly once and never asked about it again

not convicned the 2016 killer clowns shenanigan wasn't what inspired DICE to start wearing clown masks. like- people dressed up as clowns to harrass people for a month? sounds perfectly on brand to me

they were struggling to figure out what kind of fun masks they wanted to use for the longest time- everyone having conflicting yet equally extrvagant ideas- and they just used medical masks in the meantime to keep their identities safe, but then Kokichi brought this idea to the table and they all loved it so much it stuck
