Probably not the only who noticed this but there's a pattern how we see the ghosts deaths.

FANNY - we don't see her death but we technically she the reaction tramua, and it's the one of the subjects brought up in the seris by the captain ( it's kind of funny that because of a gay man, she spouted out her dark death by the hands of gay man).

PAT - at the beginning of the show, he makes it clear that he is an open book, so we see his death first.

THOMAS- This one I'd obvious the show just keep going until the anniversary of his death in October but it also makes sense he finally tells Alison because he feels more connected to her. As we see in Alison's interactions with the ghosts in season 2.

HUMPHREY- In season 2 he had more roles and scene. We also got to awe him do a big speech and he had a full body. Symbolizing that his story was to be finally put together.

Julian - There were multiple hints to Julain story being close to Humphrey. After the wedding episode, the Christmas special, we get some of Julian's past. In the bone plot, Julian mentions the heart attack symptoms and finally Mike getting a new job and being nervous, awakened him to go finally relive his death.

MARY - this one is obvious. Mary slowly gains her confidence again over the seris and in multiple instances, loose women and almost talking her trial in season. It was slowly built up but the hints were there. They didn't know Katy was probably going to leave when writing season 3, so the slow confidence is the indicator for the placement

Robin - he lost another friend in seris 4 and was talking so much better this last seris . He isn't closed off like the captain but he is a mystery. It was obvious he was next sense these next two are so obvious last.

KITTY - I feel like she is going to be next. She's done so many wonderful things recently but the Cinderella play is really significant. We also saw her realize things about her sister in seris 3. She will finally let go of her sparky image and realize he true family.

CAPTAIN - I've somehow always know he will best last. He's the character to me we know least about and for good reasons. We don"t even know his name. All they way back in season two is when we saw some of his backstory, meaning he doesn't ever like to think back. In the same episode as Kitty, when she shared her story, he almost came out. We also afterwards see them paired more together. I feel like after Kitty realizes her tramua, she will help the captian finally reveal his true self. They are foils of eachother, Kitty is naive and likes to see the best in the world, the Captian has seen too much in the world and stop beliveing in it.
