Because I've been #noticing it in the fandom lately:

He's not ugly in Eternal, you're just mean. And you know how fucking tired he is by Eternal? Give the guy a fucking break he doesn't meet your beauty "standards" or whatever. I mean he's still old in the Dark Ages since like he was fighting in Hell for like thousands of years beforehand but in Eternal he's even older than that. He's old. God forbid he looks old when he's old (and still he doesn't even look that old but still, older)

Meanwhile I'm a Doom Guy true kisser no matter what. He's still pretty I'm sorry some you guys can't see that 🫶

People keep talking about how different Doom Slayer looks between Eternal and Dark ages, that the newer game is way more attractive.

And I have to agree,but that's why I actually like the Eternal version of him better. He looks more brutal and like he's becoming the monster he's supposed to be fight. I love he's kinda "ugly" by conventional standards... The new model works for the sad pitiful 🥺 energy that's deserved though, so I am not complaining.

I'm leaning toward Sandevistan, John respects a fair fight and won't use it unless his opponent does first. Berserk is too brute like + a Sandy user would likely gain the upper hand. Cyberdeck would make things too easy, he likes a challenge.
