EN: I still can't believe it's happening! 🥹Finally, after a few weeks of hard work 'm happy to present you a functional Festive Drinks Tray - something that I'm pretty sure will add a lot of christmassy vibes to your game and bring your sims some cozy mood ✨🎄

The mod currently has 2 versions: "base" which is public right away and have 3 drinks:

Hot Cocoa with Cream

Apple Cinnamon Tea

Gingerbread Latte

Another version - "full" - currently is under early access and has 7 more drinks:

Cocoa with Marshmallow

Eggnog

Mulled Wine

Sea Buckthorn Tea

Caramel Apple Hot Toddy

Cranberry Mint Tea

Peppermint Mocha

Aaaand, here is the Whitmore Elementary school. In my mind, this is one of the latest projects of the this family. The Whitmores is one of the founding families of the Whispering Woods (well, their descendants, to be precise), and their whole journey was always all about education, development and stuff. Actually, they’ve built it on the land where used to be a few residential houses… so there might be someone who doesn’t like the Whitmores that much anymore 🤫

Today wasn’t that productive for building & landscaping, buuuut I’d also like to start introducing the characters of the story to you.

Creating sims is not my strangest talent (I’d say, I don’t have any talent in this), but when you’re creating a save file, it appears you need to create townies too 🫠😂

So, the main questions about Henry is… why did he return to the Whispering Woods after a few years of studying, travelling and dreaming about big career in a big city? Why did he start searching for more and more information in Whispering Woods archives? And, finally, what he would actually find?

I have no idea 😌😁

If one day I choose one preset which I like the most and stick to it, I’ll open champagne, honestly 😂😒 I’ve tried today 4 (!!!), did screenshots with each of them, and for around 1 hour was trying to choose which ones to post, gosh 🫠

Anyways, I’ve done a lot today, and can’t stop screening the result, all those little details 😍 Idk, I’m just so enjoying this process

Alsooo… Guilty, ive got too (like, really, too much) inspired by @awingedllama when I was putting this *main street* together. Not sure if that’s ok, so this is smth to think about and maybe to get rid of. We will see.

While I’m heading to a dinner with my colleagues, decided to share a small mood board of the Whispering Woods vibes 💫

Idk, I’ve got so so much inspiration recently, especially for the lore! Actually already have a few stories kinda shaped, and soon will start creating townies for them. Will share everything here, ofc!

To say right away, it will be not only a regular save file, but an actual opportunity to explore some of the town secrets! Scandal affairs? Journalist research which may discover a lot of unpleasant truth? Or maybe actual way to search for the info, like reading notes, checking the storage boxes?

Yes, I’m starting a completely new and fresh simblr for the save I’m working on 💫

Welcome to the Whispering Woods, a small and serene town somewhere in the depths of woods, surrounded by picturesque mountains.

Founded over 200 years ago by 5 families, it’s known for its welcoming homes, respect for traditions and strong sense of the community.

People seems to know each other well in Whispering Woods, but is it really the case?

Yoo! Long time no sims

Honestly, for quite some time I didn’t even want to share anything and play sims at all

All my save files and the game itself actually was corrupted, and it drove me a lil bit crazy

But I’m gonna still start it all over again, as otherwise I just won’t have sims worlds as I would like them to see, duh 😒

For now, since I’ve reinstalled it, I didn’t do anything, but recently started thinking if everything I’ve planned some time ago is still valid, etc

Like reconsidering the concept

Spoiler: 90% it is, maybe some adjustments to be made though

And yet, as I’ve told a few posts ago, I’m not that happy with the save file (thus, my world/town, area) name

So don’t be surprised with the “rebranding” which is definitely coming soon 💫

Now my inspiration is sorta got back, so… really back in business ❤️

Continuing with this area, and loveloveloooove all those small details like trees and car parking, makes everything so live and just makes my heart melting 🥹

Next step is to try to find some free 3d model of a colonial church or chapel and convert it to the game deco object (might take ages as I’m not familiar with blender like… at all, but I just want to have that in my save, so I won’t give up!) 🫣

Pinemount Ridges houses (recolors)

I thought for somebody it might be useful ❤️

When you create your own save file, backdrop deco builds is something you always lack, so would be good to have more, right? Even if those are just recolored options of what we have in game 🤗

I’ve used textures from Growing Together pack to recolor houses from High School Years and one house from Eco Living. Hope it will be handy 😌

Hi! Omg I’m so happy I came across your tumblr. Your save file is looking so cool and really inspiring me to make my own as well. I have so many questions if you don’t mind? How did you go about removing everything from the worlds? Blowtorch? If so, does it remove everything from every world in every save file?

Also wondering if your save file will be up for download to the public when it’s done? And my last question is how did you get these houses here? Are these buildable lots or did you make deco houses to place w the tool mod? (Pic)

Hi theeeere! It took me some time to finally get to replying to your ask, sorry for that ❤️

First of all thank you so much for your words, I can’t even express how happy I am that my work is appreciated and somebody likes it 🥹

Now getting to your questions! And ofc I don’t mind, ask all the ones you have, will be happy to help 🙏🏻

1. I used Blowtorch, but it doesn’t remove everything from the area (like some rocks, hills and trees are still there), so I still went to game files on my own and removed everything else.

2. Yes, as Blowtorch is basically changing the game files, if you use it or if you delete the backdrops from the area on your own, this area will be empty across the whole game, in each and every save you play. If suggest e.g. when you play in a regular save use the original game files (or if you use the lighting mod - use those files), while for the saves like mine or any other which rebuilds the whole world together with the background - the game files from the particular save. It requires moving files around, but at least in this case nothing would be corrupted.

3. I wouldn’t say I thought about sharing the save for download properly, but I think yes, why not? If it turns out good, not too heavy and others like it, I’m all up to share it publicly! Just would need to keep track of the mods so that it would be convenient for others))

4. Aaand regarding the pic and houses, those are regular deco houses 😌 I’m placing them on the lot, decorate them to my liking, adding fences, flowers and stuff (trying not to overcomplicate, but I like those details to much to abandon them 🫠)

Back in business, as they say!

Launched Sims for the first time in ~1,5 months, got the game broken and then almost fixed, got some inspiration for another area of Pinemount Ridges and started preparing some kind of a save database to keep track of my builds, households and mods used 🫠

Will share the template this week once I’m done with the structure as it might be useful for other ppl who are doing their own saves 🫶

Meanwhile I’m trying to come up with the **main street** I’ve always wanted to have. Still figuring out the layout of backdrops as well as actual builds, but I think it will turn out nice!

Whoa, it’s been a while!

I’m currently visiting my family in Ukraine this whole month, so will be active again after the May 30 🙈

You know, those moments are precious so I wouldn’t like to spend this time on Sims 🙃

I actually have quite some plans for the remaining part, like adding some convenience store, maybe some small laundromat to the actual lots and some kind of park and a small market to the off-lot area
