These particular words are going to rotate in my mind for so long:

And the most beautiful part is the fact it meant something because YOU MEAN SOMETHING."

I'm gonna keep this as short as possible so I don't chicken and not send it.

Anyway, when I first started reading fanfic, your Fucked Up!Sonadow AU was actually one of the first things I read. There were a few different authors I found very inspiring as I started to write, and you were one of them because the amount of thoughtfulness and care that was behind your fics was so palpable. I had written a few things before, but there is a clear shift when I started really taking care of what and why I was writing, and that started with a story I titled "You Hold My Life In Your Hands (But Never Take It)", which then began a series that I hold so dear to my heart with personal meaning.

I don't mean to be dramatic, but I feel like if I had never read your work, my own would not have became what it has. So thank you for writing, and even outside of inspiring me to be a better writer, the commentary and themes of your work has been very important to me.

I truly hope you are doing well!! 🫶

There is nothing dramatic about being human, Iseia, so never ever apologize for finding inspiration and passion in things that you or the world may deem "silly." Because the entire purpose of art in any form is to make you feel, so you have every right to feel and I never want to make you feel as though you and others are lesser or odd for finding that in literally anything.

Fanfiction for me was a huge part of my life. It's what inspired me to be who I am today because written words about silly characters are still words at the end of the day, and they have the power to move and to mean something to people, even if its small or unintentional.

Because of that I've always strove to write about the people and lives I feel passionate about, the perspectives and realities that are often frightening and scary; to make them kinder in the form of choices and the core of whoever I am writing is. Because life is shit, and I know it first hand, so I write about life being shit and I write about what it means to go on in spite of it.

Everything I do I try to evoke meaning, comfort, and kindness even when I don't have to because it makes me happy to see people like you come to me and say you are creating from your heart because you've found what it means to actually create something that is entirely yours. Because that's what your wonderful series is at the end of the day, it's yours. You created it and I could not be more proud--to not even be apart of it but to be someone who you've told because- you have got to understand the power of that.

There is power in looking at what you've chosen to do with your ability to create and feel PRIDE for that. Like, holy shit, Iseia! Look at you! Look at you do things that so many are afraid to do! To worried about being judged for or seeming cringey or literally anything else! You, not anyone else, YOU wrote! So! Much! You wrote and it MEANT something! And the most beautiful part is the fact it meant something because YOU MEAN SOMETHING.

And I am so, so, SO FUCKING HAPPY for you. You inspire me by being you, just like you inspire others, and I want you to remember that everytime you do something that matters to you. Because you are the #1 audience and you will always be able to find people like you when you ARE you, ya know?
