Hearing these guys play this live at Riverfest Elora was truly an experience. I find their sound is truly unique, managing to grasp the pleasures and sensations of indie folk without falling into the genre’s many tropes. If you ever get a chance, go see these guys.

Woah; this one just came on after that Bear’s Den cover on Soundcloud. I love stumbling upon stuff like this. Here’s Patrick Wilson with Places You Will Go.

Who wasn’t wowed by Bear’s Den’s beautiful single Above the Clouds of Pompeii? Well, prepare to be wowed again: straight from SXSW we’ve got a cover of Sylvan Esso’s Coffee by the very same dudes. Check it out.

Sufjan Stevens is one of those artists that is entirely singular. A prime number of music, the only thing to compare him with is himself. His latest song, No Shade In The Shadow Of The Cross from his upcoming album Carrie & Lowell, is easily one of his most beautiful songs. I can't wait to hear the rest of it.

I'M BACK! And so is San Cisco with their new album Gracetown. I swear, there hasn't been a single thing on this that I haven't liked yet. These guys just know how to find a catchy beat, and this is all too true for Too Much Time Together. Like their older song (and one of my favourites of theirs) Awkward, Too Much Time Together is a realistic snapshot of the issues that pop up in a modern romance. Give it a listen.

New from Stornoway, give Get Low a listen. It's new, but undoubtably him. I like it.

I'm back from hiatus; I know you've all been waiting for this moment. Well, wait no more and enjoy the smooth, funky sounds of Vulfpeck and a song worth waiting for.

Described as "Cheap Trick meets the Drive soundtrack meets every great song from Fast Times at Ridgemont High meets the greatest after-hours party you’ve never been to", BRONCHO really does somehow live up all the above with their new wave throwback album Just Enough Hip To Be Woman. It's a fantastic album with a great selection of tracks, Class Historian being only one of them. I highly encourage you check out the rest of their tracks.

I am exceedingly excited for March. So many great albums like a slow train coming, rolling down the tracks. Lady Lamb the Beekeeper is no exception with After dropping on the 3rd. If any of it can be as good as this one, it's going to be worth the buy.

Haven't been around much these past couple days, but I'm back with a couple tracks you can move to. Check this one out, straight from my ancestral home of Sweden. These guys know how to lay the bass into a folky track.

If you ever have the chance to see Rich Aucoin live, do it. Easily one of the best shows I've ever witnessed. You don't know what a concert is till someone shoots you with a confetti canon under one of those parachutes you used in kindergarden while the performer rides past, surfer the crowd on an actual surf board. Can't wait to see him this March at Ice Jam

Oshin is a fitting title as I feel like listening to the sea play a really sick set. Don't question it, just listen and believe.
