These colors are dark  without being too heavy and gloomy. There’s some mystery here, especially in the detail photos you can see my clicking on the listing.  I’m having a blast with these round paintings.

This 9 x 12 piece was done with red alcohol ink on Yupo (a very thin sheet of polypropylene).  I love all the different action and texture in the painting.

This stormscape took me by surprise one night when I had my ink out. Soon it grew thirsty for bright watercolors and a sky that’s both cheerful and ominous. Here's a close-up of a new work. This is ink over modeling paste on rough handmade watercolor paper, with a gloss varnish. I love all the folds, like a fancy dress.
