NEW UPDATE TIPS/FEATURES!

Hello everyone! It’s been forever and a half since I’ve posted anything due to school. If you didn’t already know, the new ACNL update was released, and for those of you who are too lazy to read the instruction manual, don’t worry, I can help! Here are a few features you MUST know about.

Amiibo

Around a day after you’ve started playing ACNL; Welcome Amiibo, you will have a strange encounter with a ghost genie named Wisp. I can’t tell you exactly where but I encountered him while I was walking around my town plaza. He will give you a lamp to use in your home, and you can only use one Amiibo wish per day. Now one thing that is CRUCIAL to the Amiibo feature is special characters. Examples would be Sable, Blathers, Tom Nook, or even Digby. These characters obviously cannot move into your town or hang out with you, so if you use their Amiibo all they can really do is give you a photo of them. This is also bad because if you don’t want the photo, then you already used up your one Amiibo usage. So remember this next time you are tempted to use a special Amiibo. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this update because it is literally a cheat to getting your dreamies. You can use an Amiibo to get that villager to move in, and if you have no space you can kick another villager out! Best part is they move out THAT SAME DAY!!!

MEOW Coupons

This update is the BEST!!! You recieve MEOW coupons for doing everyday tasks like paying off your loan or updating your town’s dream, but that’s not the best part. If you go to the ABD you can trade MEOW coupons for bells, at a rate of.... wait for it.... 3,000 PER COUPON! Not only that but every time you use an Amiibo you get around 5 coupons! That’s 15,000 right there! I’ve already made 100,000 bells just off of these coupons, so it’s really a win win situation.

HHD Features

So if you have a digital or retail version of ACHHD, you can connect it to receive ACHHD items from the contests held on the Happy Home Network. These items are really cool and if you’re going for a certain theme they are perfect. Another feature from ACHHD is the whole designing layout. You remember how you were able to drag items from the bottom screen? Yep, you can do that now! Only difference is that the game doesn’t have half units like ACCHD, (because implementing that would take FOREVER) so you can have small spaces between couches and tables. Either way I still love this update.

Campsite

Your town gets this cool new campsite for you to buy special items with MEOW coupons from your favorite characters trailers. If you visit Tom Nook’s trailer you can pick up a cool New Nintendo 3ds with an in-game puzzle game! It’s really cool and I definitely suggest you find yourself one stat! I didn’t even discover this until recently and I was so amazed! You can even use an Amiibo in the mini puzzle game to play with! You can also buy items from Harvey for MEOW coupons, and you can purchase anything in a trailer for coupons as well. This is very cool if you love limited addition items such as Christmas or Easter furniture. You can even buy refurbished furniture, but you cannot buy it from the catalog.

ACNL language shirts

So if you’re going on the international island and you want people to know your native language or what language you speak... here ya go!

I’ve actually had this issue before lol I’ve gone to the island and people would speak to me and I wouldn’t be able to understand them, so at least the shirt will help them see you don’t speak their language XD If you don’t plan on going to the island you just like the way they look then sure wear em but if you don’t speak a certain language then I don’t recommend you wear the dress to the international island.

Submit your own qrs!

So once we’ve reached 500 followers I want to start allowing you guys to submit your own qrs. Obviously they must be your own, and I will have a blacklist of users who are unable to submit. It will take time, but we are quite close to 500! I wanna say thank you to those of you have supported my qrs.The submissions will fall into four categories: Short sleeved, long sleeved, sleeveless, and shirts. I will also have an email for non-tumblr users, mayormeltumblr@gmail.com. Other than that the biggest rule is that your qrs must be 100% original, and if I hear that someone else created the qr other than you, I will delete the post and blacklist you. If I see the qr anywhere else obviously I will ask you if you have any other blogs, however in the future you will have to have to indicate whether or not you have posted the qr anywhere else. I will also have another tag for things that have a bit of profanity usage, but I will not allow racist content or anything that suggests violence on this blog! Another issue I want to avoid is childish/pointless designs. If you are under the age of 8 and you are on Tumblr (Idk why you would be but I won’t judge) I advise you take a look at your design first and think if it looks good or not. I have my own tastes, everyone does, but I will not accept anything that is just two colored. I also will not accept anything that has too much nudity. Banana hammocks will not be allowed, but bikinis and such will be. If you don’t know what a banana hammock is, here ya go:

Nothing like that will be posted. I’m also not doing paths just because paths are easy to copy and I don’t want a load of people saying “So and so copied my path, delete it!”

I'm rlly so upset I let these two girls in to my town and they stole all of my pink and purple roses and I just??? I didn't expect it at all like that's really fucked up bc I just restarted my town and things are just starting to pull together and look nice?? I went to the international island and two German girls asked to visit me so I let them, one was super nice and distracted me while the other stole my things?? Idk its just really fucked up. How’s School?

How is school for you guys? It’s been pretty awful for me, lol. My school assigns a lot of homework.

Coincidence? I think not. His name ends with the word “bot”, which is a short term for robot. He appears to have metal pieces and bolts in him, and appears to be made of metal. His whole house is normally filled with pieces of the “robot” furniture collection.
