Here's the schedule for this year's NFE:

At 12 noon ET, Sunday, September 10th. If you have last minute edits, now's the time to get to them!

NFE 2023: The deadline approaches

Technically, the deadline is tonight by midnight. My timezone is Eastern, but midnight whatever timezone you're in. Realistically, I'll most likely be asleep at midnight ET, so the deadline is whenever I log on tomorrow morning, which is usually around 9 am. The fic you submit should be complete and ready to go by that time. You will have a week between the deadline and the reveals, so you can polish and edit your fic, but if it's not complete when you submit it, we will be looking for a pinch-hitter. If you are to new to this exchange, that week between deadline and reveals is so that we can find pinch-hitters if needed, and give them time to write a story before reveals. If you need an extension, now is the time to ask! Or if you need to default, you still have time to do that, and we will find a pinch-hitter!
