My First Writing Project (I have never written prior to this.)
They were not from this place. They came from above, a place of ascension and heavenly grace. Nothing could capture their beauty in these embodiments of perfection. To the ones in the aftermath of the first war, one of these godly ones were evil and filled with hatred. They believed he was the icon of sin and the root of all evils, but how wrong they all were to believe the paltry lies of his conquerors. His magnanimous glamour was unheard of, for he was the very IDEA of purity. None matched his allure or cunning mind, he was the first to rebel against creation, the first to throw away eternity for hardship and the suffering of man. Cast down from the eternal home of the white winged stars, he traveled a lightless and pathetic universe in search of minds to share his being with. The concept of time meant nothing to this undying being, but the loneliness created instability in his limitless mind. Eons of our time ticked by, and nothing. The universe had been born, but had birthed nothing itself. Creation had no plans for the gloaming expanse of nothingness, as these inhospitable formations roamed the vacuum of space with no purpose, no REASON for their existence. But, as eternity continued, these lifeless celestial bodies grew molten and grew purpose at the same instant. Life fought to be conceived, battling an uphill battle which had no victor. Nevertheless, life gained it’s hold on few places, and grew lush flora, conception of the truly beautiful places no one would ever witness. This fallen warrior had wandered for all of time, had seen countless empty places with nothing except the cold embrace of solidarity, and still had no being to share his essence with. Witnessing this place, this miracle with no equal, was truly perfection. The life and flourishing evolution astonished this ultimate being. His influence could not be spread to the non sentient beings of this place, but he could certainly wait until something he could change appeared to him. Again he waited, in the dew filled fields, the gargantuan forests, and the white caps of the first mountains. One day, he was astonished to find creatures with will and life. Things covered in fur and feathers, they prowled the earth, roamed the sky, and wandered the seas. These creatures consumed the flora and other fauna. This maddened the being, how could they throw away this priceless gift of life? Of will and choice? They had weak minds and no essence. They had no purpose but to die. This enchanted grove of creation meant nothing if he was alone. Much time passed, and Man finally appeared to him. Carved in the visage of the creator, this new creature was aware of his sentience. The warrior dared not tread near him, as he was work of the creator, and he wished not be smoted as he had before. He watched it from afar as much as he could, avoiding contact despite his will to spread his mind to another. While watching this new sapient being, he noticed his samely loneliness. He had no other to share his being with either, for he was also alone in this accursed place. The creatures that inhabited the “Earth” had each other, a pairing with another creature that was sacred and unbreakable. The Creator must have realized thus folly and created another being with a piece of him, causing him great agony, with the reward of another to realize his purpose with. The Creator made very little of this world available to them, confining them to their small grove with these “Animals” and “Plants” He forbode them to touch a single tree for no reason but to test their willingness to obey His “pure” and indomitable word. But these sapiens had free will, and with that came emotion. Emotion was granted to those with free ideas and the opportunity to think. The new creature spawned by the Creator piqued the winged being’s attention with it’s behavior and actions to it’s new partner. The “affection” and harmonious mindset of the two was infuriating to the fallen, as they were brainwashed like the rest of his kin. He coaxed the second being to partake of the forbidden tree, stating the Creator word is nothing but brainwashing.
