I want to be a little isopod under a rock. I wish to do the rolly polly and scuttle about. Why must I worry about work instead of focusing on being a little guy in the dirt with my little legs.
isopods will definitely appreciate it (free food, hiding spot, mold prevention) but it's not a super necessary requirement for most species..
leaflitter can definitely be a substitute if you cant get your hands on cork bark!!
Some candy cane-colored zebra isopods (Armadillidium maculatum)
You can get these guys on mugs, masks, phone cases, and a variety of other products in my Redbubble shop
They're also on wrapping paper and gift bags in my Zazzle shop (though it may take a while for the Zazzle products to appear)
@ectoparasitoid submitted: submitting some exceptional little lads :) one of my isopod colonies has started to produce orange dudes completely on its own and ive taken to naming them all hot cheeto hatred due to the fact that their significantly more skittish than my chiller round dude colony :)
Ohhhh orange buddies!!! Please tell them that they’re very beautiful and I love them. The Armadillidiums, too :)
