I've gone pretty far writing the Siren Lore stories, and while perhaps I feel that I might need to perform more future revisions, I feel that it is safe to say that I can publish what I have.
Entitled "The Book of Siren Lore" is a collection of short sequential stories of mythology of the Siren people. It is pretty much stand alone from my novel and I will be adding these to the databook. I have about 36 chapters only the 6 chapters are posted as of now. I will continue to add the rest possibly tomorrow.

Welcome!
Hello!
I've been keeping this blog private since I started it up because it was made as a personal motivational tool to help me to work consistently on this novel.
However, I've decided to make this blog public because I would like it to be exposed to show this to friends and those who wander in and find my material interesting.
Needless to say, you will see that I've been talking to myself in all of the previous posts because I'm weird like that, and it feels embarrassing to admit but oh well. You will be able to see my thinking process and hear me explain things behind the sketches I do.
The Orphan Story novel when it is finished will actually be free to read by anyone curious. I have my reasons for making it so, I kinda sorta don't wanna talk about it, yeah.
All the sketches, information presented here are all copyrighted by me, Zerolr (Zerolr-RM). It's okay to be inspired from my ideas I perfectly understand and allow this; but I won't tolerate individuals making carbon copies of my ideas/characters.
This blog doesn't allow anon asks. Sorry but I'd prefer to know the identity of the blogger, even if it's for negative commentary/feedback.
That being said, I hope you enjoy looking through this blog, I have a fair amount of things up here already. There is much to add on too however, and if there is any questions feel free to ask.

It has a name...
Wow, it is so true when they say that nothing is new in this world... For the longest I've been trying to put in words the style I've been imagining. A mix of European and Asian styles, rounded edges, the curved like of Celtic knots and swirls. Ornamental and decorative, reflects nature, in this case mostly ocean and nature. But in truth, something like that already exist and it is perfect for my research. It is the one term that explains the architectural feel that the siren culture has. Just two words: Art Nouveau That's it. That's everything. You have no idea how much relief this brings me. I'm moving at a microscopic rate with this project. But just learning this has lifted a load off my shoulders.

Proper sketches of Argus Prestigo. When I first started working on him I just gave him all the traits of a person I would hate, and then hated him. But then afterward I started reconcile with him. And now I love him.

I have this idea for a conceptual piece with Soluna. And I have a poem that's written for purpose of the piece. Here: http://theorphanstory.tumblr.com/post/68834090377/soluna

I've always thought I wouldn't be able to make a more realistic interpretation of any of my characters. But one day I was hit with curiosity when I was sketching faces.

Siren Race References
Sketching Daniel and Raven (for the millionth time) I reaffirmed what are going to be my main references for my developing Siren culture. The main themes I'm going to be looking at is:
Island Nations and the characteristics they share. I'm drawing from,
Japan, Dominican Republic (West Indies) and Ireland. I'm also using the nomadic styles of the gypsies in Spain.
It's good that it's looking more solid as I'm going along.

Soluna
Her face is white as the moon with hair draping over her like the dark sky that surrounds it.
--
She is of the dream in the night that never was.
Of the dream that I've always wanted to have.
She is the moon whom feigns warmth and grants mystery.
Her love haunts me with a smile that enchants.
It scares others but draws me closer.
--
I feel like a shadow uncovered in her glow.
Like the demon, vile and decrepit that crawls into her presence.
--
She is a Siren.
A creature of land and sea
Of moon and water
With a tail of sliver and a voice stringed with honey
--
She calls out and I follow
Falling into vulnerability
She forms the balance that leads me to believe in the hidden magic of darkness,
The raw beauty of moonlight
--
Soluna
--
She radiates as the sun of the evening sky.
The moon that settles the creatures within my subconscious.
--
Her face is white as the moon with hair draping over her like the dark sky that surrounds it.
--
She is iconic
The cornerstone engraved in my heart.
In which I have found and made part of me.
Those that fear have ran far, But I stayed
And dared myself to fall under her enchantment.
--
Soluna
--
Her arms embrace me like a blanket of stars,
Her whispers caress my skin like an ocean breeze.
Her tenderness and subtlety slithers and snakes around my consciousness.
--
I am drowned in her love.
In my love for her
In our love that we share.

Orphan Illustrations
I have some designs for poster images for Orphan story. One is series of poster images, each one depicting one character, that illustrates their personality and presence in the story. Each character will have a quote that I came up with that sums up their character theme and what they symbolize.
I like creating characters that carry a theme. It helps me build on everything around them. Most of the time it's a phrase, or an emotion, it can be an object, animal, or a combination of several of these.
For Raven his theme is: "You are not alone" his theme is also the theme of the entire novel.
Daniel - Strength in Humility
Anasashu - Self-Hate and Self Esteem
Argus - Empty Satisfaction
Another set of designs that I have plans to work on is Siren Lore illustrations of several deities which I want to do in the form of art nouveau-esque. Those I want are also going to be very conceptual and be charged with symbolism from the stories I'm writing.
I want be finished with the stories before I start on them.

Progress on Siren Concepts - Part 2
It's been a while since I posted an update here, so I will now. I've progressed a fair amount since last time. Until everything is completed I won't properly explain everything. I do this since everything is changing and nothing is concrete until the lore is finished.
If you haven't read my previous progress post on this you can find it here: Progress on Siren Concepts - Part 1
Siren Lore
These are the new stories added on to the old list.
Stellis Meets the Siren Queen Stellis and the Sirens - Part 1 Stellis and the Sirens - Part 2 Stellis and the Sirens - Part 3 Stellis returns to the Sky Palace
Siren Deities Profiles
I've been working along side these while I write the lore, since I develop them to better envision them in the stories. The number of Minor Dieties and Notable People has grown. But more on that will be posted on this blog when it is completed.
Siren Philosophies
This part is complete. These are topics in Siren Philosophy that is talked about:
The Three Sacred Bonds Concept of Love Law of Soul Mates Change, Opposites and Balance
I will open up a new section in this blog where I can post all the information on this and the other aspect of siren information, that I am working on.
This is all that I am posting for this update. I will try my best to continue advancing in this progress.

Rough sketches of the Siren Water Goddess Sirena.
I had the muse start choking me, so I scrambled to doodle what was on my head before it left me. which is what these drawings look rather rushed. There is much more details to be developed. But at least now I have the basic jist of it down on paper.

These set of kids are non-canonical.
This means they are not part of the canon Orphan universe. This is because they are fanbabies of Raven and Wendy. Wendy Sager is a character from a story called "Forbidden Diary". I just loved her as a character and me and my sister would chat and chat and come up with little stories about them and "POOF!"
Before you know it, they had three tikes. Okami is just amg. I love. My sister just practically pushed me to make him a genius cook for no reason, and I use that for the lols and cuteness factor.
Kira is one of my favorite female second gens because she is so badass and down-to-earth. I gave her traits from Soluna, just fuckin because. And well Yuusuke, is actually rather new. But he's an odd ball of sorts. (I always love making an odd-ball. They're so cute *squees*)

Ooooooooold sketch ヘ(>_<ヘ)
Sen and Ivon were both born around the same time. Sen being older by a week or so. They both became really close like brothers, and they'd come up with all kinds of mischief. They are an unbeatable team.
They start making their own videos that records their daily adventures, after posting it on the internet they gained a cult following views that would even suggest things for them to do.
Sen later on follows his father's career. Their future notes in general are rather sketchy, because I've worked more on their childhood/adolescence and not so much on their adult life.
However I do have in mind of a cute girl for Sen. I want him to have babies~

This sketch is ooooooold! ヽ(・_・;)ノ
This is Krystal and Richie. These two have fathers that hate each other with a passion. (Raven and Argus) There is very bad blood between them. However, to the dismay of their fathers, they fall madly in love with each other.
Krystal and Richie knew each other since kindergarten, but they weren't always buddies throughout childhood. Just acquaintances and causal friends that happened to live and grow up in the same town, the same school system.
But when high school rolled around and the hormones and the drama arrived, they became inseparable. So much so, they became the first out of the kids to give their parents a grandchild. By which they named Sion.

This is Argus' second child, Richard. But of course everyone calls him "Richie". Since he was a baby he was a giggly bundle of joy. Sweet like candy, he's charming and sweet.
He got his curly hair from his mother. Solun used to babysit him for money while he was attending middle school. And when Richie was old enough to go to kindergarten, he shared the same kiddy table with Krystal.
And well that's the beginning of a whole another story.

Old sketch of Ivon Romanci. It's a sketch I don't quite like, because I made his eyes a bit too big.
If his father Daniel, is compassionate, Ivon is heartless. If Daniel is patient, Ivon waits for no one. He gave his father hell after he was born. Crying constantly as a baby, and storming out of the house when he was a teen. Daniel prayed to the gods asking constantly if he had committed crimes in is previous life.
Turns out that Ivon came out personality wise, to be just like is grandfather Issac.
