hello! i just wanted to ask,, where do you get all of your products made? i'm looking to sell some of my own art in the form of keychains/patches/etc but i'm not sure how to start!
Hi! I started with patches, you can see if you’d rather like embroidered or woven patches, they’re pretty different and can make your art look really different depending. Below is a small example, you can see the woven patches allow more detail.

For my alien embroidered patches, I got them from custompatches.net. For keychains, you’re gonna wanna see if you want a charm, with a plastic cover or a rubber one like the mothman one I made, but they are much more expensive because they have to make a mold so keep that in mind. You might want to start with just normal charms, I think Zap Creatives is a good company to use for them, though I haven’t tried them yet. If you want any other advice just message me off anon! ^^

Have you ever wanted to make your own enamel pin or embroidered patch? How about a sticker or a shirt? I used to work for companies that produced these items, and obviously made tons of my own designs. I wanted to share my knowledge with everyone that was scared to take the first step. I made a post that covers these common questions: What kind of product is best for my art? What kinds of options are available for these products? What company should I use? What is the ordering process like? What about shipping? Where should I sell online? Should I crowdfund or not? Do you have any tips for self promotion? Check it out here <3 http://kingstoncreative.net/ultimate-guide-turning-art-product/ (It’s pretty BIG, I didn’t want to recreate it on tumblr because omg this took forever to make) Anyways, I hope this helps some people! <3 Photo credits: Fuzzy Shark patch Courage Patch & Hedgehog pin Doggo Sticker

For the first time ever, I’m putting some of my textile art up on Etsy - these three hand-sewn and embroidered moths are up in my shop, which lives here: etsy.com/shop/heywitch
These little pals are a labour of love - every stitch on them is done by hand over the course of many (oh so many!) hours.
It’s likely I won’t be selling any other small embroidered sculptures like this for a while (especially moth-shaped ones), so if you’ve wanted to get your hands on one of these guys, now’s the time!
