We were making ourselves feel super dizzy yesterday whilst designing the sound for a very special OMNISPACE scene! We won't give too much away (no spoilers!) but we had loads of fun turning a recording of some honey-making equipment into a piece of twenty-second century space training equipment! OMNISPACE update! We're slowly getting closer to having omnispace ready for broadcast! @dickknittington did an incredible job assembling the edit (~two and a half hours of show content cut from hours upon hours of different takes). All the while @gilesbunch was off swanning around in sunny Deutschland (swipe across for photographic evidence!). Now Giles is back and we're shaping the episodes into something we hope you'll enjoy. On Saturday we recorded the final parts for OMNISPACE with Araz Farra and Beth Bramich! It's all recorded, we can't believe it! Araz is the voice of the OMNISPACE advert and automated application process which kicks off the whole adventure in episode 1, and Beth voices Patrice, a character who is always hanging around in the server room for some reason.

During the break in covid lockdown last autumn we worked with four amazing actors to record some of the main character parts in OMNISPACE. We've taken far too long to release the news but we're mega excited to introduce Adwoa-Alexsis Mintah, Roberta Bellekom, David Hounslow, and Melissa Collier who are playing the parts of Gloria, Lillith, Mike and Agath respectively. Welcome to the crew! During the whole OMNISPACE recording period this past 18 months (broken up by lockdowns) we've heard actors bringing distinct parts of their own personalities to the characters and this has been a massively rewarding part of the process for us. Everyone that we've worked with has elevated the characters far beyond what's written on the page and it's been an honour working with you all!

The photos show Adwoa-Alexsis Mintah, Roberta Bellekom and David Hounslow recording their parts at our make-shift recording booth with Richard directing. We're really sorry we don't have a photo of Melissa's session - we completely forgot to get a snap of the recording!

The Launch of OMNISPACE! Has been delayed due to Covid-19, a situation that seems a bit like Science Fiction, but really isn't. Fiction would have us making big bold fantastical decisions, when reality has us making very pragmatic ones.
