Checked out the new wizard awakening skills on Global Lab. Figured out a rough idea of the PvE rotation including new skills. Spawn Magic Lighthouse - Aggro generation E - Lava Field - secondary aggro generation AND burning debuff Shift+F - Cataclysm S+Spacebar - Elementalism S+Q - Call of Fire W+F - Hellfire RMB combo for Magma Bomb S+F - Bolide of Destruction Shift+LMB - Aqua Jail Explosion Shift+F W+F RMB if its up, if not, W+RMB - Water's Baptism RMB if previous was W+RMB S+LMB+RMB - Chilling Wave Shift+LMB

Rinse and repeat, using Elementalism to get out of situations or to get away and behind mobs that are aggro'd on your Magic Lighthouse.

I put addon's on the main skills, Cataclysm, Hellfire, Magma Bomb, Bolide of Destruction, Aqua Jail Explosion and Chilling Wave. These 6 skills can be rotated near infinitely, and the timing for addon's being really low, you generally have all of them up or replacing previous ones as the buffs are ending.

Below is my.. review? of the new skills for Awakening Wizard. Its lengthy, so read more added to avoid filling people's dashboard. :P

My assessment of the new skills is I find them lacking on Global Lab. That said, I have a feeling that on NA/EU, they will be really good and worth using. For reference, I grind faster on NA with 283 Sheet Awk AP and less accuracy then I do on Global Lab with 306 to 316 Awk AP. The fact that I can grind this fast as is means the skills are going to be really strong and probably worth using when released.

The problem with the Awakening reboot is how they said they felt Wizard needed more protections, but then added camera locked, character direction locked, non-cancellable skills that leave the wizard VERY open and vulnerable. While in PvE its fine, in PvP - which is arguably the core of the game - its like claiming this Orange is an Apple and that because its an Apple it should be treated like an Apple, but then actually treating it like a Banana.

Awakened Wizard was already super protected as is but needed movement. They added protections and more damage, stating it needed more protections, but then gave them VERY locked down skills that are semi weak in comparison to the rest of the kit. Low damage skills is fine, but usually the trade off is more functionality. Being able to attack during Call of Fire is good, except that the animation for it is very slow and locked AND doesn't flow into other skills well. Essentially, Call of Fire is how original Awakened Wizard felt when it was released, if not slightly worse. Stuff didn't flow right.

Its the same with Elementalism too. The spell feels clunky and the fact that you're not fully protected is fine, except that you are literally animation locked during the tail end of the skill - which is fully unprotected. As soon as you reappear, you're unprotected, and while reappearing, you're locked in the animation lock for the first half of the unprotected part.

Finally, Water's Baptism - or whatever its gonna be called - the forward movement would be nice if it was as far as Hellfire, but the fact that its less than half an actual dodge makes it extremely gimmicky. The aoe range on it is crazy, but the damage is meh. It, along with Call of Fire, should be used only to supplement your rotation or fill gaps. Water Sphere would be a better fit for gap in skill rotation filling over Water's Baptism, just because it does probably the same, if not more damage.

All in all, I do like that there's new stuff to add, but its super clunky. If the damage isn't there, I will simply just to my normal rotation and ignore the new skills. Which defeats the purpose of the reboot since everything else changed is related to succession or pre-awakened skills and MOSTLY is cooldown reduction on skills that don't need it.

Essentially, if Awakened Wizards new skills don't change, then the reboot is mostly useless for Awakened Wizards and I will probably avoid them UNLESS the damage on them hits REALLY hard on NA/EU.

Returning to streaming soon

It’s going to happen soon. Not today, but VERY soon. Basically stopped because I felt like my PC wasn’t up to snuff anymore. After a few upgrades, a little work is still needed for it to be ready. That said, Some things have been purchased and I’ll probably start streaming again on my twitch. 

Basically gonna have a gaming machine + a streaming machine set up. There’s still a few things left to get and setting up everything too, but yeah. Within a couple weeks I’ll be starting up again..provided all the tech works and there wasn’t anything damaged in shipping..

Finally got PEN Dande!!! 131 Stacks, but total of almost 30 fails. I have to go through the footage still to see how many clips, but PEN Dandelion created a 228 stack from like.. 116? or 114? Can’t remember, and then I stopped and made a new stack to 131.

If any BDO player is experiencing this visual bug in BDO, please visit this reddit thread. I made a lengthy reply, but we’re more or less trying to provide PA with w.e info(spec-wise) that we can. [GM] Wisdom told me that if I found anything else out to let them know. 

More info we get, the better. It’s a confirmed visual bug by me, [GM] Wisdom, another GM not mentioned, and my guildies. The cards currently known to be affected are:

GTX 1080 GTX 1070(EvilDoUsHarm runs this and has the bug show up in his videos) RTX 3080 RTX 3090 Radeon 5700XT Radeon 6700XT Radeon R9 580

I’ve told [GM] Wisdom about the thread, whether or not they have seen it is unknown. I figure, we get enough people seeing the bug, we get more information on it, it starts making waves, Dev’s figure out how to fix it.

Originally it was thought to be Nvidia exclusive, but then this thread showed up and someone else with a R9 580 was seeing it to. This means its a bug within the game. Figured I would share on here just to see if anyone following or anyone on here that plays also has seen the bug and wants to share their specs.

If we can actually help with fixing something that PA didn’t know about until it was brought up, simply by telling them what card and driver we’re running, why not give them the info?

No lie, EVGA is literally the BEST COMPANY TO GET SHIT FROM! For starters, their power supply units come with a 10 year warranty. That’s just ridiculous, but in a good way. Then you got this shit right here.

Today is Thursday, May 6th, 2021. I ordered this thing on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021. The delivery was stupidly fast. It was a joke between me and my friend whether or not it was gonna show up today, and then it did. The best part about this though is that this card was bought at MSRP straight from EVGA.

EVGA is the only company(I know of) doing this kind of shit. A queue to buy their cards at the value they set them at and not marked up because of this stupid scalper bullshit. I got this thing for $420 USD(about $535CAD) with $80 CAD import fees. This card goes for almost, if not actually, double that in Canada on ebay. 

EVGA’s queue system works. This is the second time I made it though the queue but first time I was able to buy it(F in the chat for that 3070 I missed out on). Fuck scalpers, I’ll save up the coin I need to buy the card I want later directly from EVGA and just hold out for my time in the queue again. I want at least a 3070, but there’s no way I would spend 2k canadian on ebay, almost 3k on amazon, on it when it costs 800-900 canadian at EVGA AND I DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GETTING RIPPED OFF BY SOME RANDOM FUCKWIT SCALPER!

Side note: I’m not scalping this card, I gave my buddy’s brother the purchase because I didn’t have the coin to spend on buying it myself, and especially with shit like this I don’t like asking people to lend me money.
