guys ive become so so attached to a sympathetic but incompetent jace stardiamond who failed to save those kids in the mountains but was too cowardly to choose death. and is now forced to lead them all to their doom

jace becoming a fucked up guardian for the rat grinders as the only adult who knows what happened to them and who is helping them with the larger plan with ankarna. while navigating his own guilt and the kids’ bitterness over how he failed them. he wasn’t strong enough to protect them but maybe now he can stick it out with them. softlaunching a new fhsy doomed tragic dynamic for me to go crazy over: student and teacher.

so badly want a jace stardiamond that puts the pathetic in sympathetic ❤️ i am beaming visions into past brennan’s brain i simply think this could be sooo much more interesting than your classic “evil and manipulative from the start” type villain

Hey Z I love you.

People, especially games, get eldritch madness wrong a lot and it’s really such a shame.

An ant doesn’t start babbling when they see a circuit board. They find it strange, to them it is a landscape of strange angles and humming monoliths. They may be scared, but that is not madness.

Madness comes when the ant, for a moment, can see as a human does.

It understands those markings are words, symbols with meaning, like a pheromone but infinitely more complex. It can travel unimaginable distances, to lands unlike anything it has seen before. It knows of mirth, embarrassment, love, concepts unimaginable before this moment, and then…

It’s an ant again.

Echoes of things it cannot comprehend swirl around its mind. It cannot make use of this knowledge, but it still remembers. How is it supposed to return to its life? The more the ant saw the harder it is for it to forget. It needs to see it again, understand again. It will do anything to show others, to show itself, nothing else in this tiny world matters.

This is madness.

Just finished the last episode.

I am in emotional ruins, I desperately need more BITB content but there is just no more. I have to come to terms with that.

And god that last episode-

Kian was honestly vibing despite all the crap he’s been through and continues to go through, Rand was on his eleventeenth crisis in the last half-hour, and mY BOY Rolan. I just. He was trying so hard. The poor guy. The poor totally normal business dude. The 100% ok totally not clicking anxious apocalypse man. The definitely without-a-doubt one and only Rolan Deep.

Like all of you who haven’t listened to those four episodes you are missing out! It’s so good

Charlie’s set ups are so fucking good, there were SO many twists I only saw coming seconds before the payoff. There is so much that makes SO much more sense when you think back.

Our cast of characters are so much fun, Roland is personally my favourite, character and development wise but Rand and Kian are so fuckin good too! They are such a charming but absolutely insane bunch

It’s such a wild ride and it’s definitely worth your time

Just started watching Blood in the Bayou today, it’s immediately up there as one of my favourite things to listen to!!! I agree, as of being halfway through Episode 2, Roland is my favourite lawyer and person in everything ever, but I also love the other two dorks!

It’s so good I highly recommend to everyone, it’s worth paying for the patreon to hear it!!!!!
