Divididos entre o dever e o amor, acabaram se casando e Anna ficou por Illea, até o nascimento da filha e os primeiros anos de vida de Evelyn. As brigas se tornaram frequentes, o casamento acabou, e Anna voltou para seu país. Criou a filha para ser uma perfeita dama e seguir os passos da mãe, se tornando dama de companhia. A garota foi escolhida ainda muito nova para acompanhar e servir a princesa Remy, e com idades próximas, as duas acabaram se tornando grandes amigas. Isso até que ela pudesse ser uma ameaça, ou se tornar uma opção para atingir um rival em potencial: o próprio irmão. Quando a guerra pelo trono entre os gêmeos Althea-Giaccomo se tornou mais séria, Remy descobriu o caso que Eva e Romero tiveram, e decidiu usá-lo para atingi-lo. Contou mentiras e manipulou a moça que, apesar de não ser exatamente ingênua, confiava tanto em Remy que apenas a escutou sem questionar. Decidida a ir para longe daquele que, supostamente, lhe causou mal, Eva fez exatamente o que Remy queria e foi para outro país.

Morando em Illea há 1 ano e 2 meses, voltou a viver com o pai, com quem teve pouco contato nos anos de sua vida. O homem tentava ser hospitaleiro, mas era praticamente um estranho para ela. No entanto, a amizade - e possível caso - dele com a governanta do palácio, foi muito útil para a estadia de Evelyn. Trabalhando como costureira no palácio, a garota queria voltar a ser dama de companhia e, quem sabe, no futuro, ter a chance de desenhar vestidos para a família real. Foi quando os preparativos para a seleção começaram, que ela largou as costuras para se dedicar à função de dama de companhia das selecionadas. Não servia a uma específica, ajudava a todas que precisavam, mas acima de tudo, ajudava a si mesma, sendo a principal informante e levar notícias - ou fofocas - para a governanta, líder das damas de companhia.

Eva é educada, entende de etiqueta, fala sete idiomas, toca piano e violino e, é claro, tem aquele sorriso doce e acolhedor. Seu histórico fez com que aprendesse a colocar suas necessidades e sonhos em primeiro lugar, mas ainda é paciente e gosta de ser prestativa. É comum vê-la caminhar entre as selecionadas, oferecendo ajuda até quando não é chamada; tanto porque faz parte de sua função, quanto porque gosta de ajudar, e se de quebra descobrir alguma notícia útil para levar até à governanta, melhor ainda. Ardilosa e ambiciosa, Evelyn consegue ser exatamente o que se espera dela e dizer o que a pessoa quer ouvir. É uma boa ouvinte, o que lhe faz saber mais coisas de todos que vivem no palácio, apenas guardando informações para quando estas forem úteis a si. Consegue ser uma boa amiga, é claro, mas é difícil que seu afeto se torne verdadeiro a ponto de abdicar de seus próprios interesses para ver a pessoa feliz - isto significa, então, que quem consegue adquirir sua honesta simpatia e admiração, tem uma amiga leal para a vida toda; ou pelo tempo que for possível. Isso, no entanto, se tornou difícil de acontecer após a decepção com os gêmeos Althea-Giaccomo, a quem tinha como amigos e, no fim, lhe traíram ou dispensaram como se fosse uma qualquer, partindo o seu coração.

I made Askbox Questions out of one of my psych text books to help develop characters for workable storytelling. Send some Virtues and an OC !

MINDFULLNESS– Do they live in the moment? What keeps them present?

SELF-EFFICACY– Does the end justify the means? How to they approach their goals? Do they blame others for their own faults or admit them?

RESILIENCE– How do they handle loss or failure? What helps them stay resilient and bounce back from loss or failure?

Joseph não nascera em berço de ouro, mas também estava longe de um dia entender o que é pobreza; filho de um professor de filosofia e uma professora de história, desde bastante cedo o menino aprendera a questionar tudo e todos. Liberdade, aquele era um assunto constantemente conversado em seu dia a dia e fora assim que ele crescera, amado, estimulado, com uma forte conexão com sua família e com o mundo. Por alguma razão que seu pai nunca parecera compreender, Joseph sempre foi bastante diferente dele, por mais que gostasse de ouvir as ideias mirabolantes de seu pai, Joe era muito mais voltado a esportes, caça e luta, mais parecido com seu tio do que seu próprio progenitor. Seu tio, Jeremy todavia aceitou tudo aquilo de bom grado, guarda real para o castelo, ele sempre contava ao pequeno Joe o quão importante era o que ele fazia, como ele protegia o rei e a monarquia, e Joe queria fazer exatamente o mesmo, com isso aos seus 19 anos o rapaz finalmente fora recrutado. Sendo bastante sincero Joe pensou que por seu tio servir tanto tempo ao exército ele teria alguma vantagem mas não podia estar mais errado, e durante os anos de seu treinamento aprendera a ter disciplina e comprometimento. Não demorara muito para que ele conquistasse um nome dentro dos corredores, soldado Sawyer. Aos seus 25 anos já havia subido de patente mais vezes do que qualquer um dos recrutas que havia chegado consigo, e também fora o mesmo ano em que se apaixonara e casara-se com uma servente, Rose.

Embora um soldado muito aplicado e fiel, em partes Joe cruzara algumas de suas morais ao casar-se com Rose, que previamente era noiva do cozinheiro real o que ferira um pouco seu nome e honra mas com o passar dos anos dentro do castelo e esforço do homem, conseguira limpar sua imagem e também a de sua esposa, que antes vivia num relacionamento extremamente tóxico e abusivo. Joe e Rose tiveram sua primeira e única filha, Eleanor, e Rose passara a criar a mesma as redondezas do castelo enquanto Joe aos seus 34 anos era nomeado o chefe da guarda real do castelo. Feliz e contente com sua vida Joseph jamais poderia imaginar que tudo mudaria por um motivo: os rebeldes. No meio de uma noite, a mais fria daquele inverno, os rebeldes atacaram e após neutralizar o ataque Joe recebera a pior notícia de sua vida: Rose havia sido assassinada, e sua filha estava coberta no sangue de sua amada, aquilo quase fora demais para Joseph que pelo primeiro ano da vida de sua filha se afastara do cargo até que seu ódio pelos rebeldes se tornara tão grande que ele precisava combate-los, embora sua dor o cegasse em partes ele sempre soube que seus motivos não eram puros mas iria contra qualquer uma de suas Morais em prol para proteger Eleanor. Agora com a seleção para começar o soldado não poderia estar mais estressado ou sobrecarregado, visto que terá muito mais responsabilidade e pessoas para manter seguras.

Embora seu caráter tenha levantado uma certa dúvida em determinado momento, a lealdade de Joe a coroa é completa e até mesmo cega, perdera muito a habilidade de questionar durante tantos anos em seu ofício, hoje é um homem que segue não tão somente regras mas também que as reforça, segue diretamente sem questionar qualquer pedido do rei ou da família real. Abaixo de sua filha, a família real está acima de todos ou tudo para Joseph, ele acredita que ser nomeado para seu cargo é uma grande honra tal que ele pretende viver ou morrer por.

Nina é a irmã caçula de uma família real e desde muito cedo percebeu que a atenção de todos estava voltada para seus irmãos mais velhos, Romero e Remy. Os gêmeos eram o centro das atenções e tinham uma relação muito próxima, o que deixava pouco espaço para Nina se aproximar deles ou de qualquer outra pessoa ao seu redor. Crescendo sem muitas cobranças ou responsabilidades além da educação básica que era oferecida a qualquer nobre, ela buscava formas de se divertir e escapar das restrições impostas pelo palácio. Assim, Nina ganhou fama por sua natureza inconsequente e um toque de rebeldia, e à medida que se tornava adolescente, boatos começaram a circular sobre suas frequentes festas.

Apesar de suas atitudes questionáveis, Nina possuía um coração bondoso e era extremamente leal à sua família. O rompimento entre seus irmãos afetou-a profundamente, deixando-a em uma situação difícil ao tentar escolher um lado na guerra fria que se instalou dentro da família. Com o passar do tempo, ela acabou se aproximando mais de seu irmão, Romero, devido às suas discordâncias com os métodos adotados por Remy para reconquistar o trono. No entanto, Nina não conseguia cortar os laços com Remy, pois compreendia perfeitamente o sentimento de rebeldia que surgia de ser deixada de lado.

Com o passar do tempo, o comportamento de Rowena começou a causar inúmeros constrangimentos à família real. A jovem frequentemente era vista saindo embriagada de festas ou fazendo declarações polêmicas para jornalistas disfarçados. A irritação gerada por seu comportamento levou a uma tentativa de mudar sua imagem, mesmo contra a vontade da princesa. Ela passou a ser mais presente em ações sociais promovidas pela realeza e a participar de atividades públicas mais bem vistas pela população.

Quando seu irmão foi em uma viagem para Illéa com o objetivo de fortalecer as relações entre os países, a presença da princesa foi considerada indispensável para reforçar a ideia de que ela havia se tornado mais ativa em suas obrigações reais. Rowena teve, então, que acompanhar a comitiva, mesmo que relutantemente, e demonstrar seu suposto comprometimento com as responsabilidades que vinham com o título de princesa.

Apesar de relutante em deixar Nova Roma para embarcar em uma viagem oficial a Illéa, Nina, secretamente, está animada para explorar a capital, Angeles. Mesmo com as novas restrições impostas a ela, ainda desfruta de uma considerável liberdade desde que mantenha discrição em suas ações. Agora distante dos olhos atentos dos pais e da mídia de seu próprio país, ela sente que terá ainda mais possibilidades para não apenas ter uma dose extra de liberdade, mas também para descobrir o tipo de nobre que ela realmente deseja ser. Essa viagem representa uma oportunidade para Nina se encontrar e definir sua própria identidade, longe das expectativas e limitações impostas a ela em seu lar real.

Em uma noite de verão, quatro dias após o aniversário de quatro anos dos gêmeos reais e após o aborto espontâneo de mais um bebê real, Alyssia veio ao mundo para alegrar ainda mais o palácio de Illea. Criada como o centro das atenções e mimada por todos, a linda e inteligente princesinha sempre soube se safar de qualquer castigo ou punimento por fazer coisas erradas, bastava um olhar ou sorriso doce e tudo era esquecido. Talvez seja por isso que ela cresceu com essa aura manipuladora e o jeitinho especial de ter todo mundo comendo em sua mão.

Alyssia é extremamente inteligente e curiosa, cresceu com uma enorme sede de conhecimento, tem sempre uma resposta na ponta da língua e quando pequena costumava sair distribuindo curiosidades sobre assuntos aleatorias. Talvez seja pela tamanha curiosidade que seu maior passatempo sempre fora de meter na vida dos irmãos e importuna-los, sempre tendo uma opinião para tudo, fora apelidado de intrometida sabichona pelos irmãos que a amam e a protegem de tudo e todos.

Apesar de não parecer, Alyssia tem um grande senso de reconhecer situações a sua volta e ele sabe do privilégio a qual cresceu mas até mesmo ela sabe que não tem muito poder para mudar o mundo, por isso faz sua parte em ajudar como o pode, pelo menos o pouco que pode.
