Final Farewell
sorry for this guys ik i'm Not Done with the story summary yet but i'm just gonna drop this thing that is basically an out of context spoiler. i uh apologize in advance 😔
———
In the darkness, the girl who was once filled with fear and self-hatred tries her best to see. Obviously, she struggled a little, but then a light came from behind her.
Pamolia turned around, and was greeted by the sight of the one person who has always been there for her through thick and thin, surrounded by blue butterflies as they all gather around him to give some light to him.
"Pupa!" She called out, running towards the man, who in turn whipped around to see the girl. "Ah, Pamolia, hello." He greeted calmly. Something about the overall vibes he gives off at the moment feels...different to the girl.
That made her fear for what will come next.
"Wha...What are we doing here?" She asked anxiously, glancing around the dark void, before glancing back at Pupa, who's lips curved into a small smile. He lets out a light-hearted chuckle, before giving the girl his answer.
"Why, because it's time for me to say my final goodbyes, silly!" He replied. The way he sounds so happy about this makes Pamolia even more scared. "W-what? What do you mean, 'your final goodbyes'?!" She asked urgently, feeling her breath hitch.
"Remember when I told you that I'm gonna accompany you until you're ready to live life independently?" Pupa asked back, raising an eyebrow at Pamolia, who stopped panicking for a little bit. "...Yes...? What does that have to do with—Oh."
The realization hit her as hard as a large rock would.
Her heart dropped in an instant.
The truth is clear to her now.
Pupa is going to leave her forever.
"H-huh...? N-no...no no no no no. No! I- I'm not going to let you leave me like this!" She shouted at him. Pupa sighed in frustration, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Wow, you're so stubborn even after all of this time. C'mon now, Pamolia. You're better than this." He told the girl.
The fact that he really is trying to shove the truth further down her throat made Pamolia sick to the stomach. "No! Shut up, shut up, shut up! I don't want you to leave yet! I can't...!" At this point, her eyes are starting to water. The sight of the panicking girl made Pupa feel a bit bad, but she had to accept the truth somehow!
Otherwise, she could never be able to live her life to the fullest.
"Pamolia- Pamolia, look! I...I know this is all so sudden, and I'm sorry for telling you this sooner, but please. I want you to just move on and forget about me after all of this." He told Pamolia. That statement didn't made her feel any better. In fact, it made her feel worse.
"Forget you? FORGET YOU?! PUPA! YOU KNOW ME BETTER THAN THIS!"
"I know! But c'mon! If you don't move on from me then you'll never survive life, you idiot!"
"B-but—"
"NO BUTS!"
After that, deafening silence.
All that can be heard is Pupa's panting.
"....Sorry." He then said, trying his best to calm himself down. "Just- Please, Pamolia. Please. I've always cherished our time together, I really do! Honestly, at first, I thought you were a really annoying little girl who couldn't stand up for herself and is just so meek and helpless."
"But...I guess over time, I managed to bond with you more, and because of that, my opinions on you changed a lot. You're...more than a helpless person to me now. You...you've grown to become someone who's independent and brave. You have more courage in you than I ever will, actually."
"You don't know this, but at this rate, I see you as a little sister to me, and I...didn't exactly wanna leave you anytime soon. But rules are rules, and if I break them, both of us would be dead as hell. So, I'd like it if only one of us is dead, and that one of us is me."
"Pupa, I—"
"I don't need anymore words from you anymore, Pamolia. I just wanted to say...thank you. For everything, really. You're an amazing person, Pamolia, so don't let those people's words get to your head, okay?"
Pamolia looked down, her eyes watering even more as she stared down at her shaking feet. That is, until she could feel warm hands on her shoulders. She looks up, and sees her guardian figure—no, her brother, smiling at her with equally tearful eyes.
Pupa inhales, before heaving out a sigh, blinking his eyes several times to get rid of the tears that were threatening to spill. "Alright. Enough is enough. Maybe to make this final farewell more...joyful, why not I offer you for one last dance?" He asked, offering a hand for Pamolia to hold.
Pamolia looked at his hand for a moment, before smiling widely, putting her hand onto it. "Sure, I guess." She replied, nodding. A chuckle came from the other person in the void.
And so, the two dance with silence, enjoying each other's company throughout the entirety of it. These are their last moments together, after all, so might as well make the most of it.
Step, step, step, step, twirl, step, step, step, step, twirl, and repeat.
But then, Pupa slowly separates himself from Pamolia. That gesture did made the girl confused in a sense, but nonetheless, she let it slide either way. Though, after awhile, she realized something is wrong. She stopped dancing, and then looked around for any signs of the man.
Sadly, her suspicions were right.
Pupa is gone now.
Forever.
Pamolia sighed sadly, then sits down on the ground, reminiscing on her time with Pupa thus far.
A lot of ups and downs for sure, but still, he was an enjoyable person to be around with.
So having him gone while she gets to live on feels unfair to her.
So, she knew what she had to do.
"Butterflies, restore memories of the past, so that he can make new ones!"

"Perfection"
thing i wrote for a school assignment :3 oc shit again, ,, i promise i'll write smth fandom related eventually
// TW: mentions of wanting to...die. that's it actually //
———
...Do you know, that once upon a time, there lived a girl?
A girl who strives to be successful in life, to the point where she tires herself so much?
A girl who just wants to finish school, to the point where she tries her best and overwork herself so that she can get the best grades possible?
A girl who is such a perfectionist, to the point where she cries over getting just a simple 80 in a test?
Do you know this girl's name?
...
Well.
Her name is Miaya.
———
The very first time I saw her, was when she was studying for her class' upcoming math test. She was very concentrated, it seems. I closely watched her, since she can't see me for some reason.
Through my observation, I noticed that she had a hard time getting some equations done, always finding the wrong answers instead. Her struggling amuses me in a sense. It's entertaining to see her panic upon finding out the answer she found was wrong.
Never the less, on that night, she could only finish two equations. I vividly remember hearing her mutter something along the lines of, "I'll finish the other ones tomorrow night."
After that, I blinked once, and then I opened my eyes to pitch black darkness. Nothing in sight, as if I'm in a dark void. I looked around, before spotting the same girl I saw that night; Miaya.
She was calling out for someone, she was shouting out things like, "Hello?!" or "Is anyone there?" It entertained me enough to the point where I simply giggled. That somehow caught the girl's attention, which makes me quite proud of myself.
"Who...who are you?!" Miaya asked me, fear is written all over her face as her legs shake. "Ahaha, I...do not have a name. But fear not, for I will not cause any harm to you." I replied to her, before adding, "Now, tell me...how did you get here? This is a realm all to myself, so I don't see any logical and human way for you to get here."
"U-uh...Well...I..don't know either. I just went to bed and fell asleep and suddenly I'm here now." Miaya explained to me, her two-colored eyes finally meeting my blue ones. "Ah, that means this is also a dream world. How did I not know that from the start?" I asked myself, putting a finger onto my chin as I thought hard about it.
"So...do you...seriously not have a name?" Miaya's voice managed to bring me back to reality. It was a rather calm and soothing voice, that is rather quiet, to the point where you can't even hear it unless the room is really quiet. But...it's nice to listen to.
"Hmm...no. I do not have a name, I'm afraid." I answered her question after a few seconds, crossing my arms as I glanced away from her. "Ah...well, um, if you want, I can come up with a name for you. I'm expecting to see you here whenever I fall asleep, hehe." Miaya spoke again. The thought of having a name is so weird.
I have always been so used to having no name at all, probably because I have always been alone here without anyone near me. The concept of names itself is just so odd to me. But thinking about it again, if I were to meet someone in this dark place, might as well have a name they'll call me.
I glanced back at the girl with peachy hair, before nodding. "Sure. I don't particularly mind." I responded. "Ah, alright! Hmm..." She starts thinking, before making an "Aha!" noise. I could've sworn, I saw a lightbulb light up above her. "I'll call you...Emina!" She happily said.
"Emina...not a bad name. I'll go with it." For the first time in awhile, I genuinely smiled. It's nice to have a friend around here, even if I have to see her only in this supposed dream realm.
———
The next night, I watched her study for her math test yet again. She was catching up on the equations she hasn't finished yet. Though, once again, she seems to be struggling a lot. I am no expert in math either, so if I tried to help, then my efforts would just be futile.
I could only silently watch as Miaya throws her pen across the room out of a fit of rage. "I have to get myself together...I have to get the perfect scores. I have to make mom proud. I have to graduate school. I have to chase that future I really want to have." I could hear her mutter. She also muttered to herself about how useless she is and how much of a failure she is.
However, one sentence managed to make me feel rather...alarmed.
"I just wanna die already."
Oh.
I am not going to let that happen.
———
Eventually, after a few nights, the day of the test came. I silently watched beside her, not even caring if the teacher randomly passed by and went through me somehow.
(I actually took so much offense in that, actually.)
For the first few minutes of the test, Miaya was doing fine. She managed to solve a few questions perfectly fine, even if on one instance, I overheard her mutter, "I'm just gonna leave the answer like that, even if I don't feel like it's right."
However, for the next minutes, she struggled a lot. She internally panicked, and I could feel it well enough to know that this test is probably her lifeline. Something about the fear in her eyes when she didn't know how to answer question number 7 says a lot to me.
It's as if I can feel her fear too.
Eventually, time's up, and the students have to hand out their test papers to the teacher. I could only watch as Miaya silently hands hers to the teacher. Even if it's not that obvious, there's so much fear and sadness in her eyes.
———
A few nights later, I waited for Miaya's arrival in the dark dream realm. It took her so long to come here. Isn't it supposed to be really late for her right now? My worry then rises up.
But then, Miaya appeared into the realm just in time. But what shocked me is that her face was soaked with tears. "...Miaya, what's wrong? Are...are you okay?" I asked worryingly as I ran to her and placed my hands on her shoulders, gripping them tightly, but not too tight. Miaya didn't answered me, however, and only cried even more instead.
I pulled her into a hug, rubbing her back to soothe her a little bit. After some time, she managed to calm down, and then we both pulled away. "Emina....I failed my math test." Miaya finally announced to me. Well, that was not too shocking. Considering how...uh, badly she did. "That was my guess, honestly. But it's okay, there's always next time." I told her.
"But what if there's no next time? What if I can't try again? What if I don't pass my upcoming tests and exams? What if—"
"Shh, enough. Don't overthink it too much, alright? Those thoughts will just ruin you more. Just stay here until you wake up tomorrow morning."
...
"You'll be safe with me, Miaya."
———
The following days, Miaya never came into the dream realm, which had me worried even more for her condition. Now, I was the one overthinking for some reason. That's not healthy for me.
I decided to get out of the dream realm and spy on the girl in question instead, and when I did, I was rather shocked to find her hunched over on her seat where she usually studies, trying her best to stay awake as she reads a science book. I glanced over to the clock on the wall.
It read 01:03 AM.
Woah, that's just a whole different day now.
If only I could whisper to her that she should stop overworking herself just for some stupid numbers on a piece of paper and rest up instead. She's such a stupid perfectionist. When will she realize that she needs to care for herself more too?
———
The next night, I finally found Miaya appearing in the dream realm beside me, already looking as exhausted as ever. I immediately jumped to interrogation mode.
"You didn't slept these past few nights, didn't you?" I asked her immediately, turning my head to look at her. Her hair was pretty messy, that's what I noted. "Huh? O-oh, yeah. I wanna try my best to pass the upcoming science test, after all." She answered, and to that, I frowned.
"Miaya, c'mon now. You can't keep losing sleep because of just some stupid numbers." I told her. Now that I think about it, I sound like a mother scolding her child over some bad thing they did. I don't know, though.
"But I have to get at least a 95, or else I'll probably just never see the light of day." Miaya argued back, and that maybe rather annoyed. Who does she think she is to just not sleep because of her grades? "But you deserve breaks too!" I exclaimed at her.
"But my grades are important! You'd never understand how a bunch of numbers means to me!"
"But these numbers are the reason why you're lacking any goddamn sleep! C'mon now, just give yourself a break for once!"
"NO! I'M NOT RESTING UNTIL I GET A GOOD GRADE FOR ONCE!"
"MIAYA! LISTEN TO ME, YOU IDIOT!"
Without even thinking, I gripped both of her shoulders tightly out of a fit of rage. I looked into her eyes, they were quivering out of fear. It has been awhile since she looked at me with so much fear. But honestly, that's not the deal here right now.
"YOU WILL GRADUATE FROM SCHOOL! YOU WILL PASS UPCOMING TESTS AND EXAMS! YOU CAN DO THIS! BUT PLEASE, DON'T OVERWORK YOURSELF LIKE THIS!" I yelled at her. I wanna at least slap some sense into that stupid idiotic brain of hers, since she won't seem to understand it herself.
"WHY ARE YOU SUCH A GODDAMN PERFECTIONIST?! NOBODY IN THIS WORLD IS A SUPER PERFECT INDIVIDUAL! ONLY GOD IS, IF YOU EVEN BELIEVE IN HIM!" After that last sentence, I fell silent. Miaya was also silent as she slowly calms down from my sudden outburst. After all, this isn't the Emina she came to know and love (platonically, at least).
"S-sorry. The wanting to be successful in life just kind of...got in my head." She said, her voice shaking as she looked away from me. After a few more seconds, I sighed. "No, it's fine. I'm also sorry, for yelling at you like that. I just had to slap some sense in you, y'know?" Miaya nodded, before looking back at me. "Yeah, I can understand that."
Even more seconds of silence came in between us. None of us spoke a word as I fidgeted with my fingers. "...Maybe you're right, Emina." Miaya's voice suddenly speaking caught my attention once more. "Huh? What do you mean?" I asked, even if I fully knew what she meant by that.
"I mean...what you said is right. No one in this world is perfect. Maybe I'm just too much of a perfectionist, hehe." The peachy haired girl answered me. At that moment, I chuckled. "You're so stupid."
"D-don't say that! You're gonna make me think I'm incapable of passing any test!"
"Haha, right, right. Sorry~"
We talked and joked around more, until the dark void gets even brighter all of a sudden. "Huh? What's happening?" Miaya asked, looking around the realm in an alarmed manner. "I...don't know." That was the last thing I could say to her before we got enveloped by the realm's bright light.
———
Miaya just got to class. She was previously talking to a friend of hers from a different class before the bell rang. Once she got there, she noticed something feels different.
At that moment, the teacher walked in, bringing in a new face into the classroom. "Good morning, students. Today, we have a new student. Now, you may introduce yourself." She said, before allowing the new student in question to introduce herself.
After seeing who the new student is, Miaya could only feel shock.
"Hello. My name is Emina. I'm new here, as you all can tell, so please, help me with anything I don't understand in. It's nice to meet you all."
Ah, wait, right, that's me.
Whoops.
For a moment, I glanced over to Miaya, before giving her a small smile, giving her a sign that I recognize her. Miaya was still a little shocked at first, before nodding at me, a smile also appearing on her face.
I guess our friendship extended to real life now, huh?
I just hope that Miaya isn't that much of a perfectionist anymore.
That would certainly be annoying.

An Odd Night At The ThunderRiders' Base (Part 3)
MY MAIN GOAL IS TO FINISH THIS BULLSHIT BEFORE/BY HALLOWEEN SO YEAH LEGGO
———
"Technicolour! Where the hell are you?!"
Pupa's voice echoes through the hallways as he walks through it, his eyes darting from one direction to the other, trying to find the man in question. "Gosh...why is he so fucking stupid...? Didn't Aleph told him to stay with us the entire time?" He asked himself, but obviously he can't give an answer to himself either.
"Technicolour! Technicolour!!!!!!" Pupa yelled louder, but still no response came from Technicolour. Instead, he heard something else.
"Huh?! Who's there?! Show yourself!"
"What the- Wait....Fate?!" Pupa called, his walking turned into a full on sprint. He looked around, before spotting Fate in the end of the hallway, looking around for the source of the voice that called out to her. Alongside her, is none other than Hikaru.
"Oh, thank god I found you guys. You guys aren't even the ones I'm trying to find, but this is nice too." Pupa said. "Wow. Really? Did you really had to mention the part where we're NOT supposed to be the ones you're looking for?" Fate asked him, her voice indicating that she's very irritated by that fact for some reason.
"Whatever. Mr. Pupa, when did you came in here?" Hikaru asked, turning his head to look at the man in question. "Just a few minutes ago. I was with, uh, Aleph, Jakarta, Pamolia, and Technicolour, but Techni's missing, so I'm trying to find him right now." Pupa explained, scratching the back of his head as he glanced to a different view (a literal wall).
"Wait, who's Jakarta?" Fate asked, and Hikaru could only laugh a little at that. "Ahaha, he meant Arta." He told her, and she just made an "oooohhh" sound. "Can you guys at least help me find Technicolour?" Pupa asked. Hikaru was about to answer, but then immediately got interrupted. "Wait- no. I mean, it's not like I can't find him on my own, but maybe a little bit of help wouldn't hurt." Pupa added, glancing back to the two Gods.
"Haha! So you're scared of being alone in a situation like this~?" Fate teased, a smug look on her face as she watched the butterfly man's face turn bright red. "W-what?! NO! I-I'M NOT SCARED! I JUST- Ugh....!" His response made the Goddess of Fate laugh even more, and Hikaru could only facepalm at this sight.
———
"I never knew they had a fish tank here...Ah...such cute fishes...!" Technicolour muttered, his hands pressed onto a fish tank as he happily looked at the fishes in it swim around. The fishes are all sorts of colours, which made Technicolour even more happier at the sight.
"Hmm....wait. I've been here for too long! Oh no." He then said, before getting up, looking around his surroundings. However, upon further inspection.....he's the only one here. "Ah! Oh no! I got separated from the others!" He cried out, looking around a little more to make sure his suspicions were true.
"Mmh.....and it's dark here too...." He muttered sadly, before sighing. "Ugh, shut up, Techni. You're old now. Get your shit together—Ah! Wait! No! I wasn't supposed to say that word...!" Technicolour whined even more, feeling so much embarrassment as he continued complaining about his current situation.
"Shut up!!!! I gotta find the others before—"' Technicolour didn't had the time to finish his sentence before he was immediately cut off by the sound of footsteps. "Huh? What noise are those—Ah." Eventually, he managed to (sort of) see who is approaching him.
"Aye! Techni! Never expected you to be here! You weren't one of the people I invited to that demon summoning ritual." Trojan's voice could be heard as he stops infront of the man with blue hair. "Oh, wait...Mr. Trojan. You're Mr. Trojan, right? I don't wanna mistake you for someone else..." Technicolour asked.
"Yep, yep~ That's me, alright! Ah! Wait. I wanna test out something. It's an ability I haven't used in awhile. Gimme a sec." Trojan then closed his eyes, though Technicolour couldn't see that because of how fucking dark it is right now.
Suddenly, a pair of light blue eyes appeared infront of him, startling him completely.
"Hey, Colour!"
"AGHH WHAT THE HELL?!"
"Oh- Shhh!!!! Don't make too much of a fuss about it, please!!!! Just don't freak out."
It turns out those eyes belong to Trojan. Seems like he can make his eyes glow somehow. But how is that even possible??? "I-I...Nevermind that. I'm just glad someone else is with me......and I'n glad that I can see you clearly in some way." Technicolour said, muttering the last sentence nervously.
"Yeah, uh...anyways! I'm trying to find Temporal Shifting! Wanna come?" Trojan offered, extending his hand out to the other man as if he's telling him to take ibuprofen with him. "Temporal...Shifting? Who's that?" Technicolour immediately asked, ignoring the "let's take ibuprofen together" pose Trojan is striking right now.
"Oh! Uh, whoops. Forgot to tell ya who that is. Ehehe~ I meant Tempo and Shifta." Trojan replied sheepishly, his arm lowering for a split second before going back up, making that stupid offering pose again. "Sooooo? Wanna come or not?" He then asked, both of his eyebrows raised as the most stupidest smile he could ever make made it's way onto his lips.
Technicolour was rather silent at first, but then he managed to make up his mind. "Alright. I'll come with you." He said. He didn't take Trojan's hand, though. He has way more common sense than Arghena would ever have. Noticing this, Trojan completely lowers his hand. But the smile he has on his face is still there, as if it was plastered onto his face with glue. "Sweet! Let's go then."

An Odd Night At The ThunderRiders' Base (Part 2)
dawggggg
———
One knock.
Two knocks.
Three knocks.
And then silence.
A knock could be heard again, and then another knock, and another knock, and finally, one final knock, before the door opens with a creak...for some reason?
"Hello~? Anyone home? Hellooooo??????" Jakarta—I mean, Arta's voice could be heard as he and a few other people stepped into the building. "...Eh, no response." He then concluded, a sigh following his sentence. "Well we can't lose hope yet, youngster. Surely enough we'll find someone here." Aleph-0's voice was then heard.
"Hm, but where could they be?" He then asked in curiosity, scanning the lobby(?) of the base that they're in right now. "Maybe they're in the meeting room. Just my guess, though." Technicolour guessed, though he does feel slight uncertainty.
"It's...really dark in here...I can't see anything." Pamolia muttered, reaching into the pocket of her jacket and pulling out her phone, before turning on the flashlight. It's completely silent in here. No sound could be heard as the rest of the group stepped inside. "H-how scary..." Pamolia then muttered again, her legs already shaking a bit as she looked around.
"Hmph. There's no time to waste. We might as well get to the meeting room quickly. Besides, just being in this exact area gives me the creeps for no reason." Pupa said, before adding, "It's like I'm entering an abandoned place." "Haa....! D-don't say that! Now I'm even more scared...." Pamolia told him.
"Alright. Let's go." Aleph commanded, and the group then ventured further inside of the base, before going up a staircase. Along the way, Arta decided to be a little shit and try to make some conversation.
"Hm~ I never knew that the base got affected by the power out thing." He started, and for some reason, to Aleph, what he said is rather dumb. "Well obviously! Not every building around here is immune to getting their electricity cut out."
"I-I know...! It's just that- maybe they could've done it during daytime instead. If it's nighttime, then the atmosphere is a little..." Before Arta could finish his sentence, he shivers in fear. That made Pupa sigh in annoyance. "A little what, huh?"
"Uh, a little..." And there Arta goes, not being able to finish the sentence. The spirit felt even more annoyance by this. I mean, obviously, why wouldn't he be? It was Pamolia's turn to sigh. "Enough. I just want to get to the meeting room already..."
"Well luckily for you, it seems like we're almost there!" Aleph announced happily, pointing towards the sign hanging on top of a door in the distance that read: "Meeting Room". " Oh, Amazing Mighty fucking BLESSED US! FINALLY!" Pupa cried out in relief, and the loudness of his voice made Pamolia cover her ears. Well, only one of her ears, since her other hand is holding the flashlight so she can't exactly use it to cover her other one.
After a little more walking, the group finally made it infront of the meeting room. Aleph then knocked on the door.
Knock.
Knock.
Knock.
...
"...No response." The math teacher's answer made the others anxious. "H-huh? What do you mean...?" Pamolia asked, feeling fear eat her again. "Yeah! That's impossible! Surely there should be other people around here if the door is unlocked!" Arta pointed out. "Well I guess Pamolia and Jakarta are right. Didn't you said Trojan gathered us here for...something? So it would be weird if there's nobody at all here." Pupa explained, crossing his arms as he tried to think of the possibilities.
Aleph, too, thought about it. It's weird. He got that text message from Trojan for a reason. So...where is everyone else? "How...odd. Let's just try going in instead. We're probably jumping to conclusions right now." He concluded. "Delusional." That was the only thing Pupa said as he looked at Aleph with a deadpanned expression. That comment was enough to make Aleph annoyed.
"Shut your mouth for a bit, will you, Mr. Pupa? At least have some hope that there are other people around here." He then said, before reaching to the doorknob and then turning it, before pushing the door open. And to everyone's surprise (this is sarcasm)...
Nobody in sight.
Well except one.
"Eh? Ars?" Arta muttered out in shock. "Wh- Wow! Just wow! Is he really the only person here?" Pupa asked. But his question was met with silence. "Ugh...whatever...! Let's just help him! He seems unconscious..." Pamolia suggested.
After a little while, the group finally managed to get Ars onto the couch. I guess all they need is Pupa's super cool levitation powers, but that's besides the point. Aleph turned his head to look at Ars, who is now lying on the couch, still unconscious. "There doesn't seem to be any injuries on him. What do you think, Technicolour?" He asked.
...
"Technicolour?" The group then whipped their heads around the room, only to find no sight of the man with icey blue hair. "Goddamnit! We lost him! Now we have to find him!" Arta complained. "Ugh! I'll try to find him. You guys stay here with Ars. Make sure he's okay." Pupa said, getting ready to leave the room. However, Aleph immediately grabs his hand.
"No! Let me come with you." He demanded, and the light in his eyes were enough to make Pupa go silent. He froze in place, staring back at Pamolia's math teacher in shook. Pamolia and Arta could only look at them, before sharing glances at one another, unsure of what to do.
"...Mr. Pupa?" Aleph calling him managed to bring Pupa back to reality. "O-oh! Uh, n-no. You can't come. I- I don't want you in danger. Plus, Pamolia and Arta needs someone to watch over them." He told the math teacher. Arta was rather taken aback by the last part, though. "I—hey! We're not kids anymore, y'know?!" However, his comment goes unnoticed.
"Don't worry, I'll be alright. It's not like this place is haunted or anything." Pupa then said, before walking over to the door, and there he goes...

Death Is Inevitable
oh wow what a. depressing title. um. oh how i wonder what's going to happen here!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 /s
yea um, warning: there will be some...creepy behaviour depicted here, like stalking and such. also murder and death is implied in the end. and blood mention. oh god. you're in for a doozy, actually
———
At first, I was doing fine.
———
Hikaru was a fairly popular idol in the nation. He has a lot of fans, has went on a world tour before, and had a lot of friends because of this (are they really his friends, though?).
Hikaru had a lot of fans.
Hikaru had a lot of fans.
Remember this.
He did have a lot of fans during his time as an idol, but there was one particular fan that stuck out amongst all of them like a sore thumb.
We'll call her T.
When he was still an idol, Hikaru was still a teenager, which meant that alongside his idol career, he has to attend school like a normal teenager would. He didn't particularly minded this, but idol work and school work were definitely a hassle to deal with.
Even at school, he had fans and admirers. Nearly everyday, he would find love letters and flower bouquets in his locker. It annoyed him a bit, but he appreciated all of the love he got from his idol career. However, a recurring figure in the love letters that he got always signed her letter with the alias 'T'.
He was always curious about who this T person is, so he tried finding her. He asked every student if they knew anyone who would go by the alias T, but nobody knew her at all. He nearly gave up, until one morning he decided to come to school early.
That's when he found a girl slipping a love letter into his locker. She noticed him right away and then quickly ran away, the love letter already inside of Hikaru's locker as intended. Hikaru read the letter, and surely enough, it was signed with the T alias like the other ones he got in the past.
He then knew that this girl was T. He's glad enough to find her identity and then went on with his life in peace. However, after that morning, he never found any love letters signed from T ever again. That obviously made Hikaru feel a mixture of worry and confusion.
But T's still going to school like normal, it seems. So what made her stop giving Hikaru love letters like usual? That was the question that filled Hikaru's mind everyday.
However, after some time, he started feeling a presence looming behind him everytime he walked through the hallways of the school he went to. Hell, he could feel someone following him from behind outside of school. It made him...start to get a bit paranoid.
That's no good. Who would follow him everywhere he goes?
And then he remembered the contents of the letters T sent to him. They always start with T reaffirming her love for him, and always end with T wishing him a good day. The contents of the letter can vary, from T talking about how she admired Hikaru so much, to T just talking about her day, whether it was the day she put the letter in Hikaru's locker or any other day before that.
The contents of T's final letter to Hikaru is...pretty much the same, but he remembered how weird the wording was in it.
"I hope I can see you again tomorrow, Hikaru. Or else I'll lose myself."
"Did you know how much I love you, Hikaru? I want you so bad it really does hurt."
"Maybe one day we can be together forever. Just like how I hoped things would be."
"Your voice makes me go on a rollercoaster of emotions. I love you so much, Hikaru."
"Please be mine one day, Hikaru."
On that realization, Hikaru knew something is wrong here. The next day, he felt someone following him again. He tried looking back or stopping from his walk to catch the identity of this stalker, but no sign of them were there. Hikaru just felt even more insane the more he tries to find the identity of the stalker.
It's like trying to find the identity behind T all over again...
———
But suddenly, every part of my body hurt.
———
After some silence from T, Hikaru finally received another letter from her in his locker. He read it, but alarmingly enough, the contents were concerning.
"I want you to be mine I want you to be mine I want you to be mine I want you to be mine please be mine please be mine please"
That was the only content of the letter before the usual sign off from T. Strange. She usually does the usual love reaffirmation and the wished for Hikaru, but this time it's just...this creepy mess.
This made Hikaru even more paranoid of the situation. He felt...scared. Concerned. Frightened. What kind of behaviour is this?
He knew that idol fans can be insane, but getting to experience having an obsessive fan like this scares him too much. First, he feels like he's being stalked. Second, T. Third, this. Now what?
After that letter, T went silent again. Hikaru got even more paranoid because of that. Everyday, he feels like he's being stalked. Everyday, he's dreading on what T will do next. Everyday, his paranoia grew even more.
That was until T slipped another letter into Hikaru's locker.
The contents were the following:
"Hey Hikaru.
Hey.
Hey.
Hey.
I love you, y'know.
I want us to be together forever.
I want you to be mine so bad, I might as well die.
If you don't love me back, I might as well kill myself.
What's the point in living if you don't love me back, Hikaru?
Hikaru....love me.
LOVE ME.
PLEASE LOVE ME. PLEASE.
PLEASE LOVE ME PLEASE LOVE ME PLEASE LOVE ME PLEASE LOVE ME PLEASE LOVE ME PLEASE LOVE ME PLEASE LOVE ME PLEASE LOVE ME
— T."
"What the hell...?" That was all Hikaru muttered out after reading that letter. He knew it's no longer safe around here. He needs his friends to at least shield him from T.
Oh wait.
He doesn't have any genuine friends.
Whoops.
Who would protect him in a time like this...?
...
"Glaciaxion..."
"I wish you were here right now..."
———
I couldn't breathe.
———
The stalking went on even longer.
Hikaru's paranoia grew even more each day.
And overall, this whole thing is a mess.
This went on for quite awhile...
Until Hikaru decided that enough was enough.
Hikaru tried finding T's classroom, and in the process he found out that T is his underclassman. That fact made Hikaru even more scared. He then decided to find any information regarding T from other students. From that, he found out that she's pretty much an outcast, and is hated by mostly everyone.
They say it's because she's 'creepy'.
Yikes, that says a lot.
Eventually, the day came where Hikaru decided to confront T about her behaviour. He asked her why she's like this. She only answers with a simple, "Why are you even asking? This is love! Love, Hikaru! Love!"
"Love...?"
From the bottom of his heart, Hikaru couldn't believe her.
No matter how hard she tried to reaffirm the fact that it's because she loves him, he just couldn't believe her at all.
To her, this is indeed love.
But to him?
This isn't love.
"I refuse to believe you." That's what Hikaru said, ending off their confrontation entirely.
He wasn't fully aware, nor was he fully prepared, for what was about to come to him.
———
And then finally, my heart stopped beating, and I, too, stopped breathing.
———
On that fateful day, Hikaru received a letter from someone. It wasn't signed, so the sender was pretty much anonymous. It read:
"Hikaru, please meet me at the Miracle Forest. I need to tell you something important."
No sign off, which made Hikaru anxious. Hikaru was a rather dumb kid back then, so he decided to come to the Miracle Forest either way. At that time, there was no such thing as "a magical girl guarding the Miracle Forest", so nearly everyone can just wander into the forest for who knows what.
But then, he saw her.
It was T. T was the one who sent that letter telling him to meet her at the Miracle Forest.
Seeing her himself made the idol filled with light sick. He can't forgive her for what she's done to him. The stalking, the creepy letters...he just can't forget about those...!
He then had the urge to run away quickly, but T managed to tackle him to the ground, pull him by his hair, and then—
———
That rock was stained with blood and only blood.
Hikaru's head was bleeding.
His shirt is stained with blood too.
He felt his vision getting blurry and his life slowly slipping away from him as he laid against the rock, looking up to the starry sky.
Such a beautiful view for such a tragic night.
The light slowly dimmed, and then disappeared into the darkness.
That's how the world, and The Testifier knew, that the world just lost their light.
———
At first, I was doing fine.
But suddenly, every part of my body hurt.
I couldn't breathe.
And then finally, my heart stopped beating, and I, too, stopped breathing.
I lost my light.
Now what?

An Odd Night At The ThunderRiders' Base (Part 1)
i actually started writing this during like. the middle of september. but then i got lazy and now i'm just splitting it into parts. fuck
———
"And I'm sure, that 99% of you people here are a bunch of braindead idiots."
The time is approximately 10 PM. Why are there still people at ThunderRiders' base? Well, Trojan gathered everyone over here for...very weird business.
"What?! Hey! I'm not braindead nor am I an idiot! I'm smart! Trust me." He replied to Destonio's comment, crossing his arms and looking away from him in offense. "Well not my fault you came up with a really shitty idea." Destonio said, glancing away from the other man.
"Hmph, for real though, how DARE you call ME a 'braindead idiot'?!" Fate immediately chimed in, also seemingly offended by Destonio's comment. Lucas pinches the bridge of his nose, sighing in frustration (and stress, probably). "Alright, alright, shut up now. Let's just ask good 'ol Trojan over here why exactly he called us here to summon demons."
"Oh! Because! It's almost October!" Trojan replied happily, a smile making it's way back onto his face. "Trojan, September started two weeks ago. It's the 15th, get a grip." Galactic said, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Eh.....yeah, but still! I wanna get into the spirit either way~" Trojan said, scratching the back of his neck.
"Well whether I like it or not, this summoning demon thing is interesting. I'd like to try it." Ars spoke up, and what he said definitely made everyone else perk up in surprise. "Huh?! What the hell?! Are you stupid?!" Destonio asked, eyes wide as he looks at the Cantate prince. "Uh....yeah? Why's that so bad? Trying something new doesn't exactly hurt, right...?"
Everyone was silent. On one hand, summoning a demon is...yikes. But on the other hand, it's something new, and some of them aren't afraid to try something new, especially Trojan...
"Hm, alright. I guess we can go with Trojan's idea." Tempo said, turning his head to look at the man in question, who's expression lit up instantly after hearing his statement. "Fuck yeah!"
———
"And then, I read up online that you have to sing a song."
On the floor of the ThunderRiders' Base's meeting room, is a pentagram of sorts, drawn onto the floor with chalk or something. Several candles are already around it, and in the middle of the pentagram, is a framed picture of...huh? Harry Styles from One Direction?
"Who even is this bitch in this picture, anyways?" Destonio asked, pointing at the picture in the middle of the pentagram. "...I don't know either, actually. B-but one thing for sure, he is an otherworldly creature! So surely this picture of him might be able to summon Mister—or Miss—Demon!" Trojan explained with a proud tone in his voice. Destonio just sighed.
"Well then, what does the song sound like?" Fate asked curiously, somehow genuinely looking interested in this song that Trojan's supposed to sing for this ritual. "Well! It goes something like this! Ahem, ahem, ahem...."
...
"Ooooohhhhhh!!!!!!!!! MR. DEMON COME SHIT ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!"
And that first lyric immediately alarmed everyone else in the room.
Everyone immediately went wild, commenting on how unhinged this whole deal is, and some even yelling at the other about random shit.
"THERE'S A BUCKET OVER THERE!!!!! SHIT ON IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"OHHHHHHHH MR. DEMON COME SHIT ON ME AND THAT FUCKIN' BUCKET OVER THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
*CRASH!*
And suddenly, the lights went out, because for some reason they didn't turned off the lights of the meeting room earlier.
"Huh?! What the?!" Ars' voice could be heard. "Oh, maybe the lights suddenly went out?" Tempo asked, looking around for a flashlight. Though, that's not needed anymore, because after the sound of a finger snap can be heard, multiple orbs of light appeared around the room.
"I knew you guys would need this somewhat." A voice said. "Oh, Hikaru, hi. You came at the right time." Fate greeted, her face more...neutral than beforehand (when she was yelling about the lyrics of the song Trojan sang). Hikaru sighed. "So, what happened here?"
"Trojan decided to be an idiot and tried to summon a demon." Destonio answered, clear irritation present in his voice as he gave Trojan a...rather intimidating enough glare. "I—eh..." That was the only response from him.
"What was that crash sound, though? I thought I heard something like that before the lights went out." Ars asked, looking around. Though, obviously he can't see anything else other than the other people in the room and Hikaru's light orbs. "Maybe it came from outside of this room? It's worth a shot to take a look, am I wrong?" Fate suggested, gesturing towards the room's door...for some reason.
"Good idea. C'mon, let's—"
And then the scene glitches, and then everything went black.

You Are Real
urgh ik i have a writing blog i can post my stupid oneshots in but maybe i'll make an exception for oc oneshots from now on
———
"There might be one thing you'd forget at times; your name. Though in truth, you may have never 'been' anyone at all..."
"But you; you are real. And you are, perhaps, the most wonderful thing in a world of endless wonder."
Those words from Ars were stuck in Lucas' head throughout the entire night, preventing him from sleeping. He thought back at it the morning after the restless night. How odd. Ars thinks that he is the most wonderful thing in this world? How preposterous!
"Why would he say such things to me? With such fancy words too...." The traveler muttered to himself as he sat on his bed. It was just last night too. They were having a heart-to-heart talk. Something about what happens after they defeat the God of Destruction.
Lucas knows he isn't leaving the Cantate Kingdom anytime soon. It's obvious at this rate. He's grown attached to Ars, and that wasn't apart of his plan.
And the words that spilled out of Ars' mouth made him grow even more attached to him.
It's strange. Lucas isn't usually the type to get attached to others. It was always the other way around. It always has been like that. So this happening to him instead is...strange.
He could feel his face heating up. Did Ars' words affect him that much? "Goddamnit. I shouldn't think about this. It's not like he actually cares, right?" Lucas knew that what he just said was clearly a lie.
Ars is one to care deeply for the people around him. He is no man with no empathy, after all. It would be out of character for him to not care. Lucas groaned as the words repeat in his head over and over again.
"Shut the fuck up...!" He muttered to himself, his head in his hands as his eyes squeezed shut. He couldn't believe this. He couldn't believe what he is realizing right now.
He actually cared about someone after so long.
That's no good.
"Lucas.....Lucas, Lucas, Lucas. This is not like you. Stop this bullshit. You don't CARE about that stupid posh prince and he doesn't care about you. Stop thinking shit like this...!" Lucas tells himself, but it's no use. Being in denial is stupid, after all. He can't deny or escape the truth anymore.
He cares about Ars Cantate.
And, maybe, perhaps, he is in love too.

Shards of Glass, A Memory Recalled
No this isn't abt Arcaea this is yet again ANOTHER OC ONE SHOT I'M GONNA LOSE MY SHIT
TW: Description of being stabbed in the abdomen, implied murder.
———
Kaito has always felt uneasy—or even uncomfortable—when he's around glass shards. Whether the shards of glass originated from a broken window, or a broken vase, or anything else, he'd always feel an odd sense of discomfort whenever he sees them.
A few days ago, a few children who were playing outside nearby his house accidentally threw a ball into the house, breaking the window of his room in the process. Kaito was quick to deal with this matter, having a person fix the window and pay them for it. However, it did come at the cost of his sanity.
Seeing those broken pieces of glass scattered on the floor and on his bed made him uneasy.
It felt like he was going to be stabbed in any moment now.
He felt like he might puke at the sight, so he had to quickly clean the mess up before he lost his mind.
The piercing glass on his abdomen hurts.
After the window was fixed, he could finally rest easy on his bed. However, he always did wondered why he felt so weird around glass shards. It's a reoccurring thing from when he was little. He never really pinpointed on the reasoning behind this.
He could feel his consciousness slipping away as the other man before him rushed to him and caressed him in his arms.
And here Kaito is now, defending a friend...with glass shards? Why? What happened?
Earlier, Kaito and Eijiro ran into a bunch of bad guys. They're apparently thieves who are somewhat interested in whatever Kaito owns. Obviously Eijiro isn't happy about this, and fought them to the best of his ability. However, Eijiro didn't realize that he was fighting only one of the bad guys, since the other one was quick to threaten Kaito.
With a broken glass piece too.
That reawakened some fear in Kaito, because obviously this fear has been with him ever since he was younger for some reason. Seeing the sight of a shard of glass made Hikaru felt weak. He couldn't fight back. He could only feel so much despair.
Eijiro lost the fight, and now he's all bruised and battered here and there. Kaito won't allow that. He won't allow a bunch of stupid thieves to just rob him and get away with it. He won't let that fucking happen.
And then, a light blinded their sights for a split second, before revealing that it was Hikaru who was the source of the light. He managed to beat the thieves with the glass shards.
Such an odd new power.
Kurayami would like to know about it.
———
"How....how did you managed to do that?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know...those new powers you got."
Kaito fell silent at Eijiro's question. He didn't know how to explain it without seeming—or sounding like a crazy person. Sighing, Kaito then explained everything.
"....I had a past life."
"...What."
"B-believe or not, it's true! I can recall that I was the same there, but I just go by the name Hikaru. I think I remember the vivid memory of me fighting with someone who I think is you. You ended up killing me, though."
It was Eijiro's turn to be silent now. Everything is a bit hard to process, but especially the fact that he murdered his own friend in his past life.
"Are you fucking crazy, right now? I would never murder you!"
"I really am not! I think we weren't friends back then, and then we have our clashing differences. Remember when we first talked to each other and you ranted to me about how jealous of me you are?"
".....Well...yeah."
"Yeah! That! We never talked to each other back then to the point where we barely knew each other. You were jealous of me and I was unaware of your existence. That's what led to that fight."
"Jealousy, huh..."
Even more silence came between them as the two ponder on the situation now. Now that they know the truth of their past lives...what are they going to do with their friendship now?
"...Hey."
"Hm?"
"We can still be friends if you want. Our past lives are called past lives for a reason, y'know?"
"Huh, well I guess you're right."
...
...
...
Eijiro then jumped onto Kaito and hugged him tightly, catching the boy with strawberry blonde hair off-guard. "What?" "Whatever I did to you back then, I'm so fucking sorry! I was jealous, like what you said, right?"
Kaito—no, Hikaru simply smiled at that. "Haha, no need to be sorry. The past is in the past, leave it behind." He then hugged Eijiro—or should I say Yuuki—back with the same gentle, warm, and kind embrace he always gave to others who needed it.
Hikaru knew that he had to be the light in other people's lives.
Especially Yuuki's life.

———
He sees himself being trapped in-between two sides once again.
One side is the side of light, full of colorful and joyful things. The light that has always been by his side, to atone to his neutrality. The white light that always accompanied his neutral grey.
The other side is the side of darkness, full of sorrow and despair. The darkness that he was close to succumbing to. The pitch black darkness of despair, looming over his neutral grey.
He didn't know what he would do in this situation, let alone what side he is supposed to choose.
On one hand, the girl who he considered as a younger sister is on the side of light, but on the other hand, he is just so close to joining in the side of darkness.
In the end, he could only force out a bitter laugh as he slowly goes insane over the choices.
Light or dark?
Light or dark?
Light...or...dark...?
He thinks he might go insane again. These two things have always been the two opposing sides to each other. He was always just there to balance things out.
...
Wait.
Repeat that.
"He was always just there to balance things out."
...
The realization hit him hard like a train. He could hear his own shaky breath, before he could calm himself down.
He realized one thing.
He is his own side.
The neutral side.
He always has been neutral about anything, he was always in the middle.
He was always in the middle...
"....That's it." The man muttered, his eyes sparkling as he runs away from the area he was originally in, and then that's when a new area appears before him.
He knew that this was it. His life-long question has finally been answered.
He doesn't care about the light, even if the girl he cared about the most was on that side.
He doesn't care about the dark either, even if he was close to succumbing to it.
The one thing he actually cared about this whole time...was neutrality.
With this newfound courage and hope in him, he steps into the grey area, and a blinding light shone onto him, blocking his vision completely.
In the end, he was neutral about everything.

A little shocked I have to say this but please don't feed my work, my writing or my art, to any AI for generative purposes or otherwise. Generative AI is theft, and innocent intentions are not an excuse. I'm not going to explain why generative AI is bad, many artists and writers have already done that much more eloquently than I ever could. Do your own research. I work professionally in art and have been deeply personally impacted by AI, and seeing AI versions of my characters is deeply upsetting.

For Her
Thing i wrote while i was a bit stressed over smth. Felt like making an oc murder (i literally made these ocs on the spot wtf lmao)
(TW: Death. Mentions of blood, knife. Implied murder.)
———
Miyuki knew Ayaka for a long time now. In fact, they're literally best friends! They've been with each other through thick and thin. They had each other, and that's all that matters.
...Until they interfered.
Miyuki never knew how much rage she felt when she found out about how Ayaka's parents treated her. They treated her like shit, constantly forcing her to do her responsibilities when she doesn't want to and talk shit about her behind her back.
Miyuki hated that.
Ayaka's parents also force her to study until late at night with no rest whatsoever. They never let her sleep or rest from her studying every night, and because of that, the girl always seems so sleepy in the morning, constantly not focusing on certain things well due to her lack of sleep.
Miyuki hated that.
Ayaka's parents always force her to put up some sort of act that Miyuki now calls the 'perfect bitch' act. Ayaka's parents wanted her to be perfect, amazing, good at everything, when really, she's no superhuman.
Miyuki hated that.
Ayaka used to be so cheerful and expressive. Always looking up at the bright side of things, always so kind and caring, and even bringing Miyuki herself out of bad thoughts. But now, Ayaka is reduced to being an emotionless, expressionless, and broken individual who's hard for Miyuki to fix.
Miyuki hated that.
Miyuki hated them.
So that's why...
...
Miyuki's going to end it all here.
———
Miyuki recently got a text from Ayaka, telling her that her parents will be out for the night. The pink haired girl knew that this is her opportunity.
This is her opportunity to end them.
Once and for all.
So, Miyuki tries tracking down where the friend's parents are. After successfully finding them through a tracking device, the girl got into a disguise, got everything she needed, and went downstairs. She was nearly ready to put her plan into motion when she forgot something.
Quickly enough, she went into her house's kitchen and grabbed a—
———
A knife.
Screams.
Blood.
Cries.
Suffocating.
And then they were gone.
She got rid of any traces of them.
She changed into cleaner clothes.
She destroyed any evidence and her old, bloodied clothes.
And that's the end of it.
"She doesn't need to suffer anymore," She said in pure happiness.
She knew she has gone insane at this point, laughing at the death of her victims.
But all of that doesn't matter anymore.
As long as she did it for her, she doesn't need to worry about it.
———
Miyuki could hear her phone's ringtone from the bathroom just when she's drying off her hair with a towel after a good shower. She quickly got out of the bathroom and answered the call, not bothering to check who's calling.
"Miyuki?" The familiar voice of her best friend could be heard from the other side of the call. "Hey Ayaka! Sorry for answering your call a little late. What's up?" The pink haired girl cheerfully replied.
"My parents....they've been gone since last night, as you already know, but they're not back yet it seems..." Hearing that, Miyuki fell silent. However, her smile didn't drop. "I-I'm worried for them, Miyuki...I'm gonna go find them-" "Ah! No, no, no! No need! I'm sure they'll be fine. Maybe they came back last night when you were asleep and then went out again this morning before you woke up?" Miyuki 'speculated', despite knowing full well about the well being of the black haired girl's parents.
"I-I highly doubt that-"
"Relax, Aya! I'm sure they'll be fine. Trust me."
There was a long pause from Ayaka's side of the call for a brief moment, before a sigh could be heard. "Alright. Fine. I trust you on this. But if they end up not coming back until tomorrow, you're seriously gonna be the death of me..." Miyuki knew full well that's a joke, so she laughed along with Ayaka, who actually only nervously chuckled. "Right, right~"
However, Miyuki knew damn well what she did last night.
And she wasn't guilty about it either.
Because as long as she did it for her, then she doesn't need to worry about it.
