another thing i found while going through my files. little tiermaker list showing what (almost) every NPC says when you invite them to your house and they don't give you a home warming gift. there's four different dialogues for it, & each character is assigned one.

All secret unlock dialogues in the Sims 2 for DS. Oh boy. I got most of these during my first playthough approx. 3 years ago, using cheats to make everyone sad :( to expedite the process. I don't recommend doing this yourself. It gets very repetitive, very fast.

There's also some unused secret dialogues that are in the Sims 2 for GBA (Burple, Emperor Xizzle, Jimmy "The" Neck, Yeti), so, if that interests you, you can check out the The Cutting Room Floor page for that game.

I stumbled on some of the buildings in the Urbz that you remade in the sims 2 and you did a fantastic job with them! I tried my hand at some of that a while back and I love the way yours came out! It’s certainly not easy to do, and is honestly inspiring me. If I ever decide to recreate the Urbz in sims 2 again, I may have to come back and check out your blog real quick for some help 👀

I think I actually have a few I haven't shown here yet (ex. Second Looks Thrift Emporium, King Tower, Jail House, Bayou Twin's Shack), so I might fix them up a bit and show them here soon.

@ritabuuk wait thanks for reminding me that i made this post (… then immediately deleted it, whoops). i'll probably remake this post when i have the chance. no reason not to. i do have them in a different post, but you have to go digging to find them, which isn’t very… convenient, to say the least (so all of these, alongside some other characters' dialogues, went unused in the sims 2 for gba (until seeing that, i didn’t realize that they were Made for that game &, not only that, but made somewhat early in development (back when the plot line had everyone be hired actors, which… explains Luthor’s dialogue here specifically. Baffled me since I first saw it because that does Not align with the rest of canon!!!)))

actually now that i think about it, knowing the original context that the secrets were written in, if Giuseppi wad hired by Daddy Bigbucks to be in a TV show… it would kinda make sense to redact his role in the Urbz for the Sims 2. (I’m very glad they scrapped that plot line by the way. Dusty Hogg would never.)

So, in actual, written canon… that leaves Giuseppi’s secret as Such Bullshit. Redacting his interesting role in the Urbz (he’s arguably the best character in that game)… for what?

i do have a HC that, after the events of the Urbz, Giuseppi left Miniopolis as to not face Daddy B’s wrath (probably with the help of Frankie? (the betrayal in Miniopolis that Daddy mentions & the ‘favor’ that Giuseppi mentions having to pay back to Frankie), and he’s saying that as a way to protect himself, pretend like his role in the Urbz never happened because of the consequences that come out of doing it in the first place. I’ve never been sure of how much I liked the idea, but imo it makes a lot more sense than taking that secret straight.

ok. so. i've had these for ages, and i'm not sure why i haven't posted it yet. it's every single character... except for Tank Grunt. not completely sure why, but @/tank-grunt has a post here with Tank's secret if you want to see it.

They're under the cut because 1. long post and 2. sims 2 ds spoilers, technically. although i absolutely do not recommend unlocking all of the secrets yourself...

I actually got another ask asking for the same thing! I don't really want to/have the time to list out all the cc, sooo the sims are just uploaded here instead and you can look through the files

HOWEVER. since I did not upload Lord Mole... I'll list out his CC.

the pants are a recolor of some gp09 pants (star wars pack) and the gloves are mine (i have no promises on the quality of them!!), both of which you can find here for convenience.

keep in mind that i had to do the most editing to the cc I used for him (the UV maps for the items conflicted each other a LOT), so if you use all of this cc you may not get the results that I did.

Also, Ava's hair is a personal edit made by madraynesims of this hair (Hunter v2) from AxA 2020.

Since I've been asked a few times (and really don't mind uploading them):

My Sims 4 versions of the (human) characters in the Sims 2 for DS and GBA.

You can do whatever you want with them in your own game.

Don't reupload publically without modifications to the sims (/a makeover) or if these files go down. / Don't claim as your own, please!

CC included. Keep in mind a lot of it has been modified to fit the characters betters. And if you're afraid of the virus that's going around in some mods? I do not have it; I have checked. I suggest getting modguard just in case.

All of their other outfits are done, but they're done to be as cc-free as possible.

I'm not sure I how many packs I used. I have all packs installed, but not all packs are used. Looking at their outfits, the biggest required ones are StrangerVille, Horse Ranch, and Get Together. If you don't have/use all packs, prepare that you may need to replace some parts of some outfits.

I couldn't include Lord Mole because... he's actually really buggy in-game, but if I ever fix him, I will add him to this upload (these are links to folders for a reason!).

Daddy Bigbucks (who is only in the GBA version and not the DS version) has been included as well. I didn't want to upload Luthor Bigbucks without having him in there too.
