I figured he need a proper seasonal job when he’s not running around doing errand for the Followers of the Apocalypse. The onion business belong to one of his soon-to-be-brother-in-law. This is the way to impress your future in-laws to gain their approval, to prove that you’re a hardworking man and not a sheltered Vault pup. It wasn’t an easy life but with the bicycles it made his work easier. Every day except Sunday, Lovelock started his day like any other employees, donning their pouches, loading up their bicycle with onions and setting out on their sales route. They didn’t go home for dinner until they had sold everything.
