Failure is one of the things not only frightening to hear, but also dreadful to experience. A lot of us think that failure is a Dead End, when really, it’s only a Road Under Construction. I used to feel so bad about myself whenever I would get failing marks or if I don’t make it in the list. Like most of you, I like to get caught up into thinking I’m not good enough. But you see, here’s the thing…changing how you see failure will change your attitude towards learning and growth. Stop thinking of it as a hindrance, instead, start thinking of it as a motivation. Besides, it’s okay to fail or make a mistake every once in a while. Otherwise, you’ll never really learn. It takes a whole lot of effort and acceptance to get this mindset, but believe me when I say that one of the secrets to effective studying is actually changing your perspective about it. :)
