ive found that when i say “save me [x character] save me” im usually saying it about a character that has gone through something similar to what im currently going through (ie saying Save me arthur morgan when i’m coughing horribly) and it dawned on me recently that it’s essentially the same as praying to saints for intercession

Usually photographs are not allowed on-site, but nobody has ever stopped me from sketching, so here’s the refined result of a series of pen sketches I took of a preserved 737 skull. Please forgive any inaccuracies, I am not the greatest aerobiologist.

I got a good view of the enormous radar melons (those big concavities in the nose). Like an electric eel the plane can generate a large voltage, but it does so across modified nerves that act as wires, focusing the resulting EM waves using bones shaped like a parabolic dish. This is partly used for signaling but supposedly they can detect bad weather with it.

Those little holes on either side are the angle of attack sensors, basically just whiskers that detect local airflow.

All that bone looks really heavy, but it’s mostly hollow, really weird for a mammal! I put the grey around it to show where the outllne of the plane is with all its skin and blubber.

Someday I’d love to sketch an Airbus skull, but they’re more common in Europe and I’m in the states. Maybe someday I’ll get a chance.

GODS I wanna share progress screenies of the big project I’ve been working on SO BAD but I don’t want to put extra pressure on myself by sharing it and maybe hyping up a very particular part of the bg3 fandom or something and then feel guilty if I ultimately fail to finish it OTL

I WILL be making stuff with it on my redbubble if I get it finished tho cause I’m making it on a 45x65cm canvas in CSP in order to order a custom canvas print of it to frame and hang on my wall, so it’s a HUGE file MANY times larger than my usual art and I’m gonna milk that fact as much as I can.

You guys I just realized that what I’ve always wanted out of werewolf fiction is a story where lycanthropy isn’t a purely human condition

Like this dude wakes up from his wolfbender and his room is full of all these fucking chickens from local farms that he initiated into his pack. They all start clucking and crowing at the moon and when it’s full they all transform into these tiny little weird bipedal wolves with wings.

A girl turns into candy and is eaten alive by children. "Angel has become the new Birthday Gummy, and the birthday girl takes a bite of her toe. All the kids devour her candy body and eat her alive as Angel can only helplessly watch."

Minireenas crawl into someone's body every night and he does not notice for several nights "...the Minireenas on each shift were entering his body and causing his body parts to become swollen." (Why is there so much vore?? Scott do you have something you want to tell us?????)

A school buys Fazbear Goo that grows clones of students from their teeth, and the clones kill and impersonate them. "The user is to remove a tooth and place into the Faz-Goo, which makes the tooth 'believe it is still a part of you.' Then, the user places their finger into the dish, so that red blood cells are extracted from their body to 'feed the Faz-Goo.' Finally, the tooth will grow into a full mouth to tell the user something 'they will never forget.'"

Springbonnie impersonates someone's dad and no one notices. "The bunny then emerges from the pit and takes Oswald to his dads car. Once home, Oswald frantically texts his mom for help, but when she gets home, she is confused as everything is normal. Turns out, everyone sees the bunny as a normal human except for Oswald."

A robot gives a girl a magic necklace that makes her look "beautiful." She also has a magic necklace that can disguise her as the girl. She also just. Does surgery on the girl every night. "...Sarah trips and falls, causing the necklace to come off [...] She realizes she is no longer human but scrapyard junk barely pieced together [...] she looks in the basement and finds garbage bags filled with human parts, which she realizes are her own."

Henry Emily somehow made several hyperrealistic robots that can eat, drink, breathe, bleed, and have advanced consciousness. Charlie also gets vored by Freddy. Twice.

Versions of the animatronics hunt college kids at night and then burrow into the dirt to hide in the daytime

Funtime Freddy can speak French and knows a weird amount about world history. "Millie begs him not to and Funtime Freddy understands, bringing up that observers during Henry VIII’s time would have preferred beheadings, which leads him to decapitations. He mentions that Saudi Arabia still uses beheadings as punishment, knowing her parents are there." He also brings the Scott Cawthon vore count up to 4.

There are sound illusion disks used to make the animatronics look more friendly, instead of just not designing them to look like this for no reason:

Magic robot dog grants wishes like a monkey paw and communicates with the kind of text slang boomers think teenagers use. Whenever his owner/master gets threatened or harmed, Fetch will mercilessly kill the provokers for vengeance."

Plushtrap has fucking. Human body parts? "He has human teeth, which are straight and slightly yellow and set in human gums, and cloudy green human eyes."

There is a campsite where you can pay to have a guy in a rabbit suit scream at you at 5am. Bob gets in a fistfight with Ralpho the rabbit, who turns out to also be a cryptid? "When it turned 5, he vowed to stop Ralpho."

A brain scan was able to reveal two souls bitch fighting inside a guy's head. They try to euthanize him but then the nurses just resort to. Trying to suffocate him with a pillow and stuff.

i dont think this should need to be said but i feel like it's time for a periodic reminder that if your feminism/politics are exclusionary of sex workers and kinksters or other vaguely defined "weird people" you're a shithead and i have no interest in having you around. you cannot build a just society primarily built around the exclusion of specific groups, that just makes you a fascist. same thing goes for prison abolitonists who still want to reserve the right to kill certain "gross" or "wrong" people rather than actually investing in rehabilitative community justice.

Writers keep in mind while you’re working on your current WIP, you’re learning skills that may not result in you being able to complete that particular WIP to your satisfaction, but WILL bear fruit in your NEXT WIP. Like, you might’ve blown up this science project, but next time (or the time after, or the time after…) you’ll nail it because of what you learned while setting fire to this one.
