Lingering and lightly vegetal with a subtle floral note and a biscuitty taste. It’s perfect for spring/summer. Chilling out and letting off some steam after a long week of work with some golden @kape_pan concoctions 🍹☕️ • After racing over from work, I was in need of a refreshing cooler, whereas my friend felt the need for a warming drink to fend off the outdoor chill. During my stay in Australia, I was gifted a bag of @tourdetea ‘Queensland Forest’ daintree tea. I had never heard of daintree tea before, and my had I been missing out! 🇦🇺🍵 • Made from the daintree tree, this tisane has a strong and earthily-sweet taste to it. A nest of Korean Tteokcha 떡차 🍵🌳 • Tteokcha is a Korean tea that is steamed and compressed. This one here was shaped into a ball, so it looks a bit like a nest when broken up! 🧺🕊 • Being a fan of both puerhs and (more recently) Korean black tea, I was so excited to try this new tea. It had the creamy, soy and cinnamon notes of Balhyocha, yet this wonderful fruity note (peach?apricot?plum?). Such an easy drinker, and such a treat! ✨🌱 • Following the wise words of @tearepertoire and Lu Yu, I brewed this Korean tea with low mineral Korean water. This probably contributed to the smooth texture and bright notes 💧 • Thank you so much @tearepertoire for continuing to teach me about Korean tea and sharing your tea brewing tips. Watching the magic unfurl in my new glass teapot 🔮 • Glass teapots are the best for entertaining with theatrical teas. Here I have a flowering jasmine tea 🌼 I’ll be pulling out this teapot for herbal brews and colour-changing butterfly pea flower tea too 🦋 • On another note, I’m in love with the quality of my new pot. The glass feels so sturdy, and the teapot lid (not pictured) actually stays on when you pour!
