He gave a laugh at that. "That's true~." Mostly because she at least listened to her body. Skyler smiled at Ruby's pout, playfully sticking his tongue out at her at Jamie took notice of the look on her momma's face. Which just had everything descend into temporary 'chaos' when the tickle monster attacked. Skyler was laughing soon as well, keeping a hold on his daughter's squirming arms.

The vampire gave a soft hum when it ended in a kiss, leaning upwards a bit to make it linger just a little longer. The smile reappeared as Ruby pulled away and went into the kitchen, Skyler nodding slightly. "It's definitely paid off," he agreed. He could still remember the scorched smells from when she was practicing. And when he thought about the first time they had tried to make pasta together? That got him snickering. "Yup, your momma has gotten a lot better at cooking," he murmured, half doing so to Jamie.

Skyler nodded slightly, bouncing his legs a bit with Jamie. "I did. Hopefully enough so that I don't fall asleep during lunch later." Ah, that wonderful vampire sleep schedule. He was never going to get used to it. "I'll keep an eye on her while you get ready." The brunette snickered lightly when he heard her stomach growl, though. "Yeah, you can't forget about yourself. That's not good."

He took Jamie's hands in his, holding onto her so that she  wouldn't fall out of his lap. "Pancakes sound really good, actually... I haven't had them in a while." Truth to be told, the only 'human food' that did him any good was raw meat. Even then, it wasn't that good for him. "You've gotten really good at pancakes, gem."

Skyler almost took a hold of Ruby, to make the kiss last a bit longer... But, whoops, maybe they should avoid that in front off Jamie? Ah, well... As she pulled away, the brunette sat up, looking over at his daughter with an amused smile. "And 'morni' to you, too," he told her, laughing slightly as he reached over to pull her into his lap.

"No, I'm fine for now," Skyler assured her. "I 'ate' earlier, remember?" He was slowly getting to where he could go longer and longer without having to feed. Which was a good thing, since he wanted to avoid taking from Ruby as much as possible. Sometimes Kasey and Riley would let him take some blood (normally from a cut of some kind), but they couldn't be there all the time.

So after chatting with Ruby-mun, I have decided to come back to this account~ I do miss my original babies, after all! So I'll be trying to be a bit more active, both on here and their rebooted blog. Hopefully what few partners I have left here are still willing to play~!

To be honest, Skyler couldn't be any happier; At the moment, he was living happily with his fiance and daughter, on the islands that he grew up on. Granted, he couldn't help but feel a little off. Ever since he lost his keyblade, he didn't have to worry about taking the Mark of Mastery exam. Heartless didn't even bother him as much anymore... Which was definitely a good thing, considering how he had settled down. Skyler was just a knight now. But he couldn't ask for anything else. Even if he was a vampire.

At the moment, though, he was sound asleep, oblivious to the sound of the front door opening. It was the kiss that got him to stir some, soon only pretending to be a sleep as Ruby spoke to him. Oh, and... Oh, Jamie was patting him. Ah, geez, that was adorable. It got him to smile, an eye opening some to look up at the two of them. "Haa... Good morning, you two~," he hummed softly, before stretching out with a yawn. "Did you have a nice walk?"

While her fiance was asleep, Ruby had decided to take her daughter out to the beach. For awhile now, she and Jamie had lived with Skyler on the Destiny Islands. She really liked it here. Her daughter did as well. Soon she’d be turning one. And Ruby herself had turned seventeen a couple months back. Now they were headed back home. “That was real pretty wasn’t it, baby girl? The breeze was nice too.” The mother looked down at the baby in her arms and smiled. The reply she got was a bunch of mindless gibberish as always. She occasionally spoke a real word or two, but it was usually gibberish.

Giggling, she imitated a few of the things her daughter had said before she reached the door of her home. Entering the house, she closed the door behind her. And she found Skyler sleeping on the couch. Laughing softly, she went over to him and kissed his forehead. “Wake up, Sky~Ya’ve been asleep since I left~” And Jamie’s attempt to awake her father consisted of her lightly patting his cheek and saying ‘Dada’ a few times.
