So I’ve gotten REALLY into Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles and had to do a blacklight theme for them. First up is Leo! He was never my favorite turtle because he was always so serious, but I like how this series gave him the chance to be goofy for once.

Last of the Blacklight Turtles series, featuring Raphael! Raph was always my least favorite turtle in previous series–and I know Rise gave him a LOT of changes, but it’s nice to see him as the leader for once, instead of always relegated to ‘jealous of Leo for being the leader’. He’s still the toughest, he’s just not a douche about it, and has a sensitive side that was usually only reserved for Mikey. I love him in Rise!

Third in the Blacklight Turtles series featuring Donatello! I was never super fond of him in prior series until Rise of TMNT—they upped his sass level to 100 and made him feel more like a mad scientist than a geeky nerd–plus he’s just. Got the BEST thighs. And eyebrows. <3

Second in the ROTTMNT blacklight series, Mikey. He was always my favorite turtle in the past TMNT series. I like that the newest series gave him an artistic side!

fun fact!! it turns out that now when u make a new blog, tumblr forces you to follow 3-4 people before you can change your icon or modify your blog in any way!! this, of course, means that, yes, some of the "potential bots" many of us have been automatically blocking could have possibly been genuine new users who were only just seconds in to having an account!!! tumblr is literally screwing new users over!!!!
