JaceganWeek2025: BLOOD OATH + SHAPESHIFTING
At the Weirwood tree in the heart of Winterfell, a blood oath is sworn — one meant to seal allegiance in a time of war. But when Cregan Stark promises to defend Prince Jacaerys Velaryon with his life, the old gods take him at his word. Each night, Cregan is cursed to become a wolf, driven by a primal urge to hunt down Jace’s enemies… and tear them apart.

House Tully | Siblings
Catelyn Tully is the eldest daughter of Lord Hoster Tully and Lady Minisa Whent. When Catelyn's mother died in childbirth, along with her son, Lord Hoster told his daughter that she had to be the Lady of Riverrun in her mother's stead. She was close with her younger sister. Lysa had been a soft, shy, and timid girl in her youth, prone to tongue-tied silences and fits of giggles. Their younger brother, Edmure Tully, was known as hot-headed but good-hearted.

Sansa is the definition on a soft, elegant, strong female character, and I don’t mean strong in a sense she’s a strong person (even so- she does become more resilient as time moves on)
I mean by being a strong written character, she’s a unique pov, we don’t get to see many young soft female characters now a days that being treated as serious as her-
A fairy tail in reverse some people call her story and I think it’s accurate-
I might draw her in a more classic northern style later on- but I do like her light blue flowery dress she wears at some point in the show :-)

the lannisters get a purple wedding in exchange for the red wedding (sansa’s word on joffrey is what condemns him finally to death at the hand of the tyrells). jaime pushes bran out of a window so he gets the hand he pushed bran with chopped off. ned stark unjustly executes gared and lady with ice, and his head is ignominiously chopped off by ice. sansa marks jon as her bastard brother, only to end up having to play a bastard herself. cersei uses sansa as a hostage by keeping her close and betrothing her to her son, and myrcella is shipped off to dorne to be used as a hostage betrothed to trystane. theon

I'm not playing victim your words don't hurt me I'm just pointing it out. You guys can duke it out and insult each other if you want. You responded to me calling me an idiot when my reply is extremely normal.
It is an absolute monarchy. You're arguing against the words of the author himself. As for great councils, like in the case of Jaehaerys, he didn't NEED to call for one. He just chose to do so. He could have made Baelon, or Laenor, or Rhaenys his heir on his own and called it that. Master of laws are advisors and while they have more power than the average joe, they are not above the king.
It's not gibberish. If everything a king said became meaningless after he died, being named heir would mean nothing, laws and policies made by the king are null. Viserys being dead does not mean that Rhaenyra ceases being the heir.
The Widow's Law
...and how it doesn't apply to Rhaenyra
Introduction
So some Blacks use the Widow's Law, brought in by Jaehaerys and Alysanne, to prove that Rhaenyra is the legal, rightful heir. But, as usual with the Blacks' attempts to prove that a female heir should inherit over three male heirs, they are wrong.
The Law
The Widow's Law essentially states that any children from a first marriage cannot kick out their father's second wife and leave her penniless and homeless. That's why it's called the Widow's Law. It does not state that children from the first marriage inherit regardless of sex, simply that the eldest son, or daughter if there is no son, inherits. So a son from the second marriage will inherit over a daughter from the first.
Inapplicability
So, clearly, the Widow's Law does not apply to Rhaenyra in the way her stans think it does. It does mean she can't kick Alicent, Aegon, Helaena, Aemond and Daeron out and leave them homeless. But it doesn't apply to her in any other way.
Other Laws
The Widow's Law does not supercede the law of succession, which states that male heirs inherit over female heirs. In fact, it actually reiterates that law by making it clear that the eldest son inherits, regardless of which marriage he comes from.
Disinheriting
The Widow's Law also says that a man cannot disinherit his children from his first marriage in favour of his children from his second marriage. This does not apply to Rhaenyra, as Viserys did not disinherit her and certainly did not favour his children from his second marriage.
Aegon taking the throne isn't taking any inheritance from Rhaenyra. It wasn't hers in the first place.

Calling real people idiots over fiction when you're the one wrong is, something, that's for sure.
The king can absolutely flout the laws. He has the final say. This is the system that was put in place by Aegon the conqueror. Westeros is an absolute monarchy as said straight from the mouth of the author, and from the text itself.
Also, if kings died and their words were meaningless after death there would be no point in them having heirs.

Remaking some of my old Asoiaf art, here's my new revamped Rhaenyra.
Or, as someone called her on Reddit "Biblically Accurate Rhaenyra"

Like it doesn't even matter if the widow's law applies to Rhaenyra because the king specifically named her heir and he has final say on everything. It's really that simple.
