SO, after I made that halftone Drag Race piece I got hit with this idea, and in what I guess I can now say is probably true ADD fashion(!), I got all hyperfocused on it. 

Anyway, here is my pop-art Padme, in 1960s romance comic-style. I honestly loved making this so much, and I’m so happy with the finished result. I also learned while making this that Roy Lichtenstein was basically just a HUGE rip-off artist, so when you think of comparing this to his work you are actually thinking of the work of John Romita Sr., among several others! Every day’s a school day.

I think I’ll probably try to make more in this style, because I genuinely want this up on my wall as a 3-feet wide poster. :D Hope you all like her as much as I do.

(If anyone is interested in learning how to make this halftone effect in Photoshop, I can recommend a fantastic tutorial that is a great place to start.)
