I haven’t been on much lately because I was preparing for / moving to another country by myself and now I’m here and I guess I didn’t prepare enough!! Because I’m missing my family/friends/home to a level I didn’t anticipate asdhfjkfk I mean it’s the first day so I’m still jetlagged and maybe that’s part of how I’m feeling?? But I’m also like OF COURSE IT’S HARD U IDIOT, you moved to a new country by yourself and you have anxiety, WHY are you even doing this to yourself Like ngl the thought of eating by myself at a restaurant/cafe or even going to the grocery store seems exhausting and scary right now and I’m just spiraling like omg I’m never gonna make friends here and I’ll just be lonely and weird and miserable!!! UGH ANYWAY... it’s annoying because this is such a great opportunity and something that I did Just For Me and I should feel lucky... but right now it’s so overwhelming and I can’t help how I feel Anyone who has done something like this (and/or have anxiety in situations like these) have any tips???

If you don’t give a fuck, why are you on my post?

I’m exhausted by people claiming that the climactic political conflict in GoT is a “catfight.” I compared these three characters (in this post that I wrote over a year ago) because they were framed as the three figures in the War of the Three Queens, and because the show provided them very interesting (and not at all subtle) parallels in their lines about ruling, as I said in my post.

If you think the Three Queens can’t be compared in the same way the Five Kings were, then idk what to tell you.

And yep I wrote this over a year ago, so no, it doesn’t involve Bran’s ruling style lol

I saw this quote and couldn’t help but think of the three current queens in GoT, and how S7 contrasted the queens’ leadership strategies and priorities against each other. One way they were contrasted was through their relationship with, and belief in, their supporters.

Only Sansa shows that she believes in those who have rallied behind her. She listens to the opinions of her supporters, even when it’s difficult. Working together—not narcissistically disregarding supporters’ opinions or contributions to your cause—is the right way to rule.

Having my favorite actor Alfie Allen on my favorite show Harlots has been like when you invite your best friend to meet all your other best friends and you are like so in love with all of them and hope they love each other…. and then the best friend you invited accidentally ends up instigating a series of dumpster fire events that lead to the death of your other best friend.

you ever just think about how jon & sansa were both kind & lonely souls who only wanted to find someone who loves them for who they are, have kids & a family, rebuild their childhood home, keep the people they love safe, & live their life in peace without harming anyone & they really could have achieved all of that together bc they had the same goals, ideals, & really were in the position to make it all possible...but now they’ll likely never get the chance
