I am greeted by warm colors. Frozen, familiar faces put my mind at ease. Across from where I stand, I see childhood stuffed animals on top of my bed. The chipped desk rests beside me, covered in unused fabrics and heat sculpted armor. Two windows let light dance across the floor. Happy memories of writing, gossiping, and late night snacking–Even the not so good memories seem to bring me a kind of comfortable tranquillity. My room while cluttered and slightly disheveled only reassures me that my life is filled with adventures that I wouldn’t trade for anything. -- The Writing Well, August 2015
