Weird one, what would the Chocobros reactions be to their S/O's water suddenly breaking? (Say maybe a week before their due date?) If this is too uncomfortable I apologize.
Hi Anon, thanks for the ask!
Per my FAQ, I do not do gendered romantic partner asks–therefore, any birth-related asks are not possible for me to answer, I apologize!
If you’re interested in the Chocobros with children, here are some prior asks about them with kids. Something you want to see? Asks are open!

Hi! I was wondering what the chocobros would do with a male s/o that's short, chubby, and just a adorable human being.
Hi, thanks for the ask!
Per my FAQ I do not specify the gender of any romantic partner focused asks, so this uses they/them.
Here are some previous asks that relate to your question!
Chocobros with a short S/O
Poking fun at a short S/O
As far as a chubby S/O goes, the Chocobros wouldn’t mind.
Noctis uses any S/O as a pillow anyway, this is nice
Prompto is happy if they’re happy, his S/O is the best and too cute!
Gladio doesn’t tolerate “but you’re too fit for them” comments
Ignis really doesn’t care–their size is just another fact to him, just like their favorite kind of coffee/tea.

Damn! Edelgard gets assassinated? Even in the crimson flower route?
See ask this is referencing here. Behind a cut to avoid spoilers for FE3H.
Oh, most definitely. Starting a war, going against the church…and then people begin to be daemonified? The sun begins to disappear from the sky?The Scourge comes from Eos, from lands that are Not Theirs, lands that are forsaken by the goddess and this coming to Fodlan is obviously divine punishment. She’s on thin ice as it is at the start of Crimson Flower; the war is at a stalemate, and conversations with members of the army reveal the common people are starving due to their army needing so much food. Between mandatory conscription of lesser lord’s soldiers and starvation, I doubt Edelgard is held in high esteem 2-3 years into her war. Add what’s basically perceived as a Biblical plague and, well, real historical figures have been assassinated for far, far less.Something you want to see? Asks are open! In that case how bout an FFXV related AU for you. In this AU, Fodlan exist on Eos as well perhaps with Sothis being related to the Astrals in some way. Its all canon up until the Starscourge appears and throws the war phase on its head.
Hi Anon, thanks for the ask! (This is tied to an ask asking me if I’d played Fire Emblem: Three Houses. So, Starscourge and FE3H crossover!)
Potential FE3H spoilers ahead, so under a cut!
If anything, the Starscourge would make the war phase worse for…uh, everybody but Those Who Slither in the Dark.
The Alliance would have crumbledit’d be impossible to project a unified front when all of your citizens are worried about daemonification. Claude would be looking for a way to stop it by analyzing old legends about the gods.
Dimitri would almost certainly have been daemonified during this time–if not, he’d have done a 180 and focused of protecting citizens of his kingdom from daemons because the invading Empire wouldn’t.
Edelgard would not stop in her conquest and would press on even with the Starscourge, which alienates her further from her people as well as most of the Black Eagle Strike Force.
She’s likely assassinated a few years in
Those Who Slither in the Dark would bring even more into the group and seriously strengthen their numbers by using their underground lighting technology to “help” (read: recruit) regular citizens.
As for the FFXV crew, they’re too focused on survival/preparing for Noct’s return to even consider becoming involved in another war.

I'm not sure if this has been asked already, but... how do you think the chocobros would react to finding out they all like the same person? Would any of them be open to polyamory?
Hi Anon, thanks for the ask!
See the Chocobros rejecting somebody who likes all four of them here.
As for how they’d react to sharing a crush:
Noctis is the one to finally bring it up in conversation and address the elephant in the room.
Prompto immediately defers to the other three and stops his pursuit if they’re in the game.
Gladio is the most likely to make a first move on their shared crush, lets the others know if he’s already been rejected.
Ignis acts like he usually does–provides a voice of reason, shoves his feelings down, and reminds Noct of his betrothal (if that is present in this case).
As for polyamory:
Given the fact they’re all in Crownsguard (and for 3 of the 4, fairly high ranked officials/figures), their relationships tend to be somewhat public. As polyamory isn’t discussed or shown in FFXV, I assume the general populous adopts current attitudes towards polyamory like we see in this world…which is to say, they might shrug it off in private but would gossip/judge a public figure fairly harshly for it. This would be a fairly major deterrent.
Taking that away from the equation, you also have these complicating factors:
Noctis being involved with somebody who can bear children, and having them involved with somebody else could throw the line of succession into question
Prompto is horribly insecure, and likely wouldn’t fare well in a poly relationship because he chokes down his feelings for the sake of group cohesion
Gladio would try to communicate the best he could, but as a character he appears to be very protective of relationships/boundaries and would not do well if he was not a (the?) primary partner
Ignis has two issues:
First, he barely has enough time for one partner, much less multiple, and
Secondly, if his partner had other partners, he would likely become jealous of the time their other partner could devote to them
In short: Gladio is the most open to it, Ignis is the most vocally against it, Prompto does the worst with it, and Noct’s princely status strikes again. I would say it is rather improbable, but not impossible, in the FFXV world as it stands in-game.

Hello! If this hasn’t been asked before how would the Chocobros + Luna react to a love interest that doesn’t speak the language but is learning? Thank you so much for all your writings! It makes my day when you post! ❤️
Hi, thanks for the ask!
A similar ask can be read here. A few thoughts specific to this:
Noctis, Gladio, and Prompto are more likely to help them learn their language, all in different ways:
Noctis has them watch movies with subtitles so they can match the spoken language to the written they’re more comfortable with.
Prompto helps them understand slang terms, figures of speech, and homophones.
Gladio encourages them to have small conversations throughout the day–with him, cashiers, etc.
Ignis and Luna are more likely to try to learn their language in order to help fill in the gaps:
Ignis learns bit by bit–as he recognizes the words in his tongue they have trouble with, he learns the equivalent in theirs so he can identify what they need.
Luna tries to learn their language as they learn hers, that way they don’t feel alone if they fumble (she’s messing up too!).

Hello, I have a an idea I don't know if it sounds weird but can I ask for a frienship scenario or headcanon with the chocobros first meeting and how to react when female s/o trying to catch a big fish from a lake but with a lot of force to accidentally smack them in the face/head and female s/o trying to apologize? I hope is okay and have a Nice Day!!!!!
Hi, thanks for the ask! Meeting a person who hits them in the face with a fish reactions coming up!
Noctis likes fishing, and this person is just being sloppy…. Doesn’t say anything about getting a mouthful of scales, says a lot about their bad fishing technique. Comes across as prickly.
Prompto staggers back from the hit and offers apologies to their apologies–he should have been watching his surroundings, it’s fine–also helps pick the fish up off the ground.
Gladio tells them if they’re pulling like that they’re going to destroy the line, and he catches the fish before it hits him full-on in the face (tail gets him). Makes a joke about them needing to control their strength.
Ignis is just…very confused. Why has he been hit by a fish? This person is apologizing? …Ah, that’s it. Tells them it’s not the first fishing mishap he’s been in, and tries to leave quickly–this is odd, he’s uncomfortable.

Bringing this back for Noct’s birthday, 2019.
On Festivals and Birthdays
Or Carbuncle and the Prince. Some thoughts for Noct’s birthday.
When Noctis turns 21, he is inside the Crystal.
He was supposed to be married, and celebrating with his father, but…well, here we are, instead.
He had had such little happiness lately, Carbuncle thought, and so he worked with a dream. Bahamut would permit a dream for his birthday, after all.
So he thinks to the last time the Prince was happy–briefly, in awe of Altissia.
Carbuncle thinks of toy swords, of soft creatures, of cake and fireworks.
And so Noctis is brought to the Moogle Chocobo Carnival.
He is brought there for a few birthdays to follow.
When Noctis turns 27, he is missing his friends.
Carbuncle decides it’s time to change that, and quickly makes new plans.
He can’t remember all of the Prince’s friends, no, but he remembers the retinue, the mechanic, and the video game Noct spent so long playing.
This one needed more excitement, more of a challenge. And…sooner rather than later, he would have to wake up and become a king. So he works in the Empire, a barrier to overcome, a chance to win.
Carbuncle will never say so, but sometimes he wonders if this human can win with what he’s up against.
Noctis turns 27, and he is an assassin, able to defeat the Empire if only for a moment.
He can see Prompto beg for a photography magazine, get clues from Ignis on a scavenger hunt, and see Gladio flirt with the ladies of the city. He can wear a costume and eat meat skewers and not feel the weight of destiny…just the weight of the task at hand.
When Noctis turns 31, he emerges from the Crystal.
There is no time for a dream to celebrate. He nuzzles the man’s face for just a moment before Carbuncle takes his leave.
Carbuncle wishes he’d had more time. Noct deserved more happy adventures.
When Noctis would turn 32, Carbuncle can help him dream no longer.

How would the bros react to a friend who suddenly confesses their love for them with a song/poem they wrote themselves.
Hi Anon, thanks for the ask!
Noctis is surprised, but touched they cared enough about him to put in art. He’s very careful to let them know the song/poem was great even if their feelings aren’t returned.
Prompto is relieved. With all the lead-up, he was sure they were going to tell him they were dying or moving to the moon or something. Takes him a minute to catch on unless the song/poem is obvious.
Gladio has to admit that’s a first for him, and definitely gives them points for creativity. Extra points if the words/lyrics don’t reference his physique in any way because then you know it’s serious.
Ignis will not appreciate it if this is sprung on him in public–best to give him a copy to read/listen to later. His embarrassment aside, catching him off-guard is probably getting a guarded “need to prepare” answer that can come across as cold.

Hi! Do you have headcanons about the chocobros having an s/o that reads and believes on horoscopes to the point they search for their zodiac sign too to see what the day has in store for them? Chocobros believe those things?
Hi Anon, thanks for the ask!
None of the Chocobros believe in horoscopes, and as for how they’d be with a partner who did:
Noctis rolls with it. Okay, somebody will betray him, cool thanks for the heads up. If they start looking at relationship compatibility charts is flustered.
Prompto is creeped out whenever a horoscope for the day hits home, and tries to focus on how his S/O is going to handle their own horoscope instead.
Gladio uses it as an opportunity to tease his S/O. “Oh, a new love enters my life today? Sorry, guess we’re breaking up.” Otherwise, takes it in stride.
Ignis has the same response to any horoscope–is that so? It’s mildly irritating to him, but so long as his S/O doesn’t do anything rash due to their reading, figures it’s harmless.

How would the chocobros react to their S/O choosing to be left behind to distract the hoard of daemons? After all the Prince is always their first priority no matter what. How would their reactions be when they come back days later, wounded and battered but alive? You're amazing btw! I'm completely obsessed with your reaction prompts!
Hi Anon, thanks for the ask!
Noctis has to be hauled away–he doesn’t care that he’s royalty, go get them, why aren’t you helping them?! Broods and (violently) snaps at his retainers for weeks. Is dumbstruck when his S/O returns, and is probably scolded by them for his behavior–they weren’t going to put their life on the line for a brat!
Prompto is in shock, he keeps asking “what are they doing?” when he knows exactly what’s happening. Has a lot of self-loathing moments where if he was stronger, faster, they’d be here. His legs give out when his S/O returns, and he remains by their side for a week straight as they recover.
Gladio insists that the sacrifice play is his job…and probably has to be knocked out to get them all away. The others have to tie him down at night because he keeps trying to sneak out to find his S/O. Ginormous bear hugs when his S/O returns, and they’re told to never take his place again.
Ignis would have to have been incapacitated for his S/O to pull that off. Is a ghost–the others can tell he’s eaten, moved, but he’s never seen or heard–until his S/O returns. When his S/O comes back, checks them for injuries while sharply lecturing them (he gets harsh) before breaking down into tears.
A somewhat related ask to this can be read here.

Ravus, Nyx, and the bros react to finding an s.o. who has been missing for six months, only to discover s.o. is missing their memory?
Hi Anon, thanks for the ask! I’m assuming the S/O no longer remember who their partner is in this case.
Noctis feels like he’s lost them, but puts on a brave face and re-introduces himself. Will wait as long as it takes.
Prompto has to leave the area and break down. Then, he begins showing them his pictures, hoping something in them sparks a memory.
Gladio tells them not to worry, he’ll just make them fall for him all over again. Very careful to not let them see him worry.
Ignis lets them know they’ve forgotten him, and insists on having them examined to find the cause–magic? head injury?–so they can heal.
Nyx tells them that’s a bad joke, and nearly faints when he realizes they mean it. Brings them to old favorite places (if they still exist).
Ravus immediately takes them to his sister, begging Luna to use whatever she has to in order to fix them.

the chocobros is their s/o were of the royal family of another kingdom?
Hi Anon, thanks for the ask!
Noctis is glad to have somebody to complain to about state dinners, public image, and all of the related royal headaches.
Prompto has a pretty major self-esteem crisis, and takes etiquette classes so he knows which fork to use at dinner so he won’t embarrass them.
Gladio is just…way, way too harsh on their bodyguards. Is it because he wants alone time or because they’re incompetent? Who’s to say?
Ignis is more reserved than usual in public, because he knows how quickly the press can turn.
Out of all of them, Ignis and Gladio would have the most conflict with their duties and this relationship; whereas Noctis would have the easiest time making this sort of thing work.
