Hoseok threw his phone against the studio wall in frustration as he read your last text message, making the members stop what they were doing and face him. They were silent for a minute being Jimin spoke up.
“H-hyung? What’s wrong?” No one dared to utter a word as they saw the condition Hoseok was in.
Hoseok didn’t say anything, but he let out a sob as his tears finally flown down his face. Showing that he was completely not okay. Taehyung moved from his position and grabbed Hoseok’s discarded phone and he saw the last message from you, causing his eyes to widen. Taehyung rushed to his older brother to give him a hug and give him as much comfort he needs. “Hyung, it’s alright.” Taehyung mumbled as a way of trying to soothe down Hoseok’s sobs.
The rest of the members still had confusion written from their faces, as they were afraid to pick up Hoseok’s phone. They looked at Taehyung, trying to get out some kind of clue from him, seeing as Taehyung mouthed the words, “Broke up.” was all the clue they needed.
“I need to see her.” Hoseok said through his sobs.
“But, hyung, we’re practicing-” Jungkook started but was quickly cut off by Hoseok’s harsh breathing.
“I need to talk to her, please!” He pleaded, beginning to stand and face Namjoon, “Please?” He asked once again but it was more of a hushed tone because even at this state he still needs to be careful.
“Yes, okay, go talk to her. But you have to be back later tonight, okay?” Namjoon responded, squeezing Hoseok’s shoulder before letting him go, causing the boy to rush to the exit and on his way to you.
“Y/N! Open the door, please.” Hoseok knocked for about the fifth time since he arrived at your place. You sat on the living room with your knees to your chest as you let out choked back sobs, not wanting him to hear you cry. “I know you’re in there, I can hear you breathing.”
You tried calming yourself down before warily making you way towards your front door, you took a deep breath and wiped your face before opening the door and you were immediately engulfed in strong arms and your favorite scent greeted your nose.
“Please don’t leave me. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry for whatever I did wrong. I’ll make it up to you, just please don’t go.” Hoseok buried his head into the crook of your neck, making you go weak because he knows you love it whenever he does this.
“H-Hoseok, let go.” You didn’t return the hug that was given to you, seeming as if you did, you might break your ground and let him in all over again.
“No! Never, I can’t do that Y/N.” He sobbed against you, holding you even tighter if that was possible. “Please tell me what I did wrong. I’ll make things right, I promise baby. Please tell me.”
Your heart ached at the site of him growing weak, so you pat his back, thinking it was a way to comfort him. “Hoseok, let’s go inside. People are gonna stare.”
“Don’t call me that, you don’t call me Hoseok unless you’re mad, please call me baby, sunshine, love, just anything.”
“B-baby, come on.” You grabbed his arm, gently guiding him inside as you shut the front door. You took another look at Hoseok, seeing that he was just staring at you. You sighed and grabbed his hand, pulling him into the living room. “Sit.” You commanded, he carefully sat down on your sofa but he still had his eyes on you. “Do you want a glass of water?” You asked, trying to divert the attention of the conversation.
“Why?” Was all that left Hoseok’s mouth.
“What do you mean, why.” You played dumb, not wanting to talk about it. The second the topic is brought up, you’re for sure gonna break down and you were trying to seem strong.
“Let’s cut the bullshit please.” Hoseok said softly, he grabbed your hand and pulled you to sit beside him, but you had your eyes on your carpeted floor. Until Hoseok’s hand reached up to your chin, making you face him. “Tell me, please baby?”
You took a deep breath before letting it all out. “I-I can’t take it whenever you’re away and I know it’s your job and I shouldn’t interfere with your dreams becoming a reality but whenever you’re gone. I just feel so alone. Yes I can contact you or FaceTime you whenever I can but you can’t, you’re busy, I don’t want to be a burden to all of that. I’m sorry if you think I’m overreacting or sensitive but I can’t stand being far away from you. I need you too much and I’m afraid of it.” You whispered the last part as tears finally streamed down your cheeks. You went to wipe your tears but Hoseok’s hands beat you to it. The pad of his thumb softly caressed your cheek, also wiping your tears.
“You could have just told me that, baby girl. Let’s settle our problems instead of running away from them, okay? You know that I love you so much and you’re just as important to me as Bangtan is. I’m sorry that you felt so alone but I’ll do my best in order for you not to. I’ll even take you with me on tour, just please, don’t ever think of leaving me.” Hoseok wrapped his arms around your waist as he finished speaking and you immediately returned it by wrapping your arms around his neck.
“I love you, too.” You mumbled, holding onto him for dear life.

You upset him - BTS Scenarios
Seokjin
It was yours and Jin‘s first year anniversarry. You were currently sleeping in his room after spending most of yesterday hanging out with the boys, you were too tired to go back to your hotel, so Jin let you crash in his room. He thought it was the perfect occasion to wake you up with the perfect breakfast in bed.
He smiled to himself while he cooked all the various meals for you, he knew you couldn’t eat it all but that’s why he was there. He cooked all your favourites putting extra time and precision in making everything look good. He was so caught up in thinking about you and your face when you wake to the surprise of the breakfast he readied you, that he didn’t notice you stumbling sleepily into the kitchen.
You smiled lazily as your eyes swam over the various plates and your own boyfriend so hard at work and completely clueless to your presence. You walked behind him and tapped him on his shoulder. He jumped in surprise hands shaking in the air as he whizzed around to face you. You laughed at his expression and his useless efforts to hide the numerous dishes behind him.
‘’Why-why are you awake?’’ He asked startled, his face turning red slowly. You grinned leaning in for a hug. You closed your eyes on his chest.
‘’Because I feel like I slept for days, what’s all this for anyway? Some special occasion?’’ You teased. Seokjin pulled you back, looking at you expectantly.
‘’A very special occasion, don’t you remember?’’ He asked carefully. You looked at him confused.
‘’I swear we already celebrated Hoseok’s birthday, didn’t we?’’ You laughed. Your boyfriend however looked at you unamused. He dropped his hands from your shoulders. Looking at you dumbfounded.
‘’You’re kidding right? You didn’t actually forget that today is our anniversary?’’ He spoke quietly but hurt was evident in his voice. His heart sank to his stomach as anger and disappointed swam in his chest. Before you could reply, he turned around turning the knob of the stove off and marched out of the kitchen. He couldn’t believe you.
You sighed to yourself, your eyes looking at the almost finished dishes. You shook your head and turned the stove back on, resuming your boyfriend’s work. You couldn’t cook as well as him but all this food was almost finished anyway.
Of course you didn’t forget your anniversary. No way would you. You finished adding the final touches and gathered all the food, or as much as you could on a single tray and made your way to your boyfriend.
You pushed the door open. Your boyfriend paid no attention to you as he was typing away on his computer. You placed the tray on the made up bed and went to find your bag. It was no accident when you happened to fall asleep in the car on the way home. You were not that tired but you needed to seem so, so that your boyfriend will let you spend the night. You planned just as much as your foolish boyfriend did.
You pulled out a small black bag and walked over to your boyfriend. You slipped your arms around his shoulders from the back and dangled the small black bag in front of his face.
‘’I did not forget our anniversary.’’ You whispered into his ear. He slowly reached for the bag and turned to face you. He looked at you unsure. You rolled your eyes.
‘’Why do you think I flew to Korea just a week ago dumbass? It was so we could spend our anniversary together.’’ You exclaimed ruffling his hair lightly. His eyes grew in shock as realisation hit him.
‘’Oh..’’ He whispered as his ears turned a deep shade of red. He smiled at you guiltily. You looked at the bag in his hands, giving him the signal to peer inside. He reached his hand in and pulled out a single key. He looked from you to the key, confused.
‘’It’s a spare key, for you. I thought since I rented an apartment here in Korea I thought you might want to visit me now and then.’’ You stated simply and walked over to the bed, picking at the fruits on the tray innocently.
You looked at your boyfriend who stood up, his mouth agape. He looked at you and without hesitation he ran to your side pulling you off of the bed and enveloping you in a hug. He laughed out loud lifting you in the air while jumping and cheering at the same time. You couldn’t help but join in, you were happy. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but it was the only one that would make you happier than you are at this moment.
Your boyfriend stilled, putting you down on the floor. He took your face in his hand and he knew and felt in his heart that if anything in life was actually correct and right, it was this moment with you.
‘’I love you.’’
Namjoon
Namjoon was waiting for you in his room lsitening to music, while tapping his hands against his knees. You went out to get some some necessities that you‘ll need for your upcoming days in Korea, stuff you couldn‘t take on the plane when you suddenly decided enough is enough and you needed to see your boyfriend.
You were taking quite long and Namjoon was growing inpatient, he wanted you back as soon as possible so you could spend the rest of the day in his arms. He would have went with you if his feet weren‘t so sore from practice.
Suddenly his music paused as you sent him a message asking him to check your luggage where half of your stuff was still disposed, and see if your moisturiser bottle was full enough. He got up from his bed and started rummaging through your luggage. He grabbed what he thought was the bottle and squeezed around the edges. He guessed it will be enough. He sent you a quick message assuring you that you‘ll have enough to last before you leave.
He was about to go lay back down when his eyes caught a shining green USB. It was his. The exact same usb he has given you with all the songs that he‘s taken time to compose or pick from other arists to gift you with on your birthday. He smiled, glad that you‘ve taken it to Korea.
He picked up and went over to his laptop. He plugged it in thinking it‘ll be nice for the two of you to relax to the music he chose for you. However when the file popped up he did not recognise any of the tracks. Not even one was the one he‘d given you.
He leaned back away from the laptop. Why would you delete all his songs? If you didn‘t like them, you would have told him right? Ignoring the hurt in his chest he closed the laptop and sank into his bed. He didn‘t want to believe you‘d actually change all the songs like that.
When you came back he was silent. He didn‘t even look up as you recalled your journey to the store, complaining about how the rain soaked through your shoes. After some time you fell onto the bed next to him. You ran your hands through his hair lightly massaging his head, you could only imagine how tired he was after all the work. What you didn‘t expect though, was for him to brush your hand away.
‘‘Hey, are you okay?‘‘ You asked carefully. He just grunted. You kept looking at him, waiting. He sighed and sat on the bed looking down at his hands.
‘’You changed all the songs.’’ He said quietly. You frowned at him, not understanding what he’s talking about. He looked up at you, seeing your expression he pulled out the USB from the laptop and showed it to you.
‘’The songs they’re different from the ones I gave you.’’ He handed you the USB and you took it in your hands, smiling while you played with it between your fingers. You laughed lightly and jumped from the bed. Namjoon frowned at you as you walked over to your luggage, you pulled something out and sat back down on the bed with him.
You reached over him to take his laptop, and plugged in the little black USB you pulled from your luggage. A file popped up and you showed Namjoon. His eyes widened a fraction as he read the familiar titles.
‘’I would never ever lose those songs, they mean too much to me.’’ You pulled out the USB and placed it in your pocket. Next you plugged in the green USB and waited till the files showed up.
‘’These songs, are the songs I chose for you.’’ You smiled looking at your boyfriend, who looked at you in surprise.
‘’For me?’’ He grinned, cheeks going red. You nodded laughing.
‘’Aahhh’’ He laughed rubbing his hand over his eyes. He pulled the laptop and played the first song.
‘’When you gave me those songs, I’d always think of you listening to them, I wouldn’t feel as alone or upset when I come back to an empty apartment. I hope these songs show you at least a fraction of how special you are to me.’’ You told him shyly. He smiled at you as his eyes ran down the list of the tracks. He pulled your hand into his lap. He looked at you with love and gratitude, his heart no longer troubled with false assumptions.
‘’I will listen to them, and I will think of you and how special I feel to have you by my side.’’
Yoongi
Pretty much every other day you would show up at Yoongi‘s studio, either carrying bags of food to feed your boyfriend who‘s too busy to remember that food is necessary to one‘s survival or a bunch of blankets and pillows to lounge on the sofa while he does his work. You would never bother him, you‘d simply settle with admiring him as he shifts around his studio recording and writing.
Whenever he got upset or frustrated all you‘d have to do is silently approach him, rubbing at his shoulders and running your fingers through his hair gently offering him a short break. Sometimes he would ask to be left alone and you would give him that space, respecting him and his work, however most of the time he would gladly pull away from his work station and lay beside you.
He‘d tell you his worries and doubts and little details that prevent him from producing the right song. You wouldn‘t even have to say anything, just by being there you‘re giving him the support and strength that he needs to continue. Having your silent presence in the room put Yoongi at comfort and peace, he could work for hours and you‘d spend every minute of that time with him.
You thought he’d be clueless to your presence at times but he was always aware of you. He could feel every shift of your body and every movement you made would not go unnoticed, it’s this kind of serenity that eased Yoongi’s mind.
However lately, for the past few weeks you’ve stopped visiting. Yoongi pretended like it was okay, for the first few days he gave excuses to himself as to why you stopped coming, but after not seeing you for a few weeks he was growing frustrated and sad. He didn’t want to feel so dependent on you but having you in the studio with him allowed him to concentrate better. Since you’ve stopped coming he’d forget to eat more frequently and he’d bang his fists against the desk in frustration when something went wrong and you weren’t there to comfort him.
But more than anything he was worried. He was worried about you, thoughts of you not feeling well and him not being there for you haunted him. Then thoughts of you wanting to distance yourself from him until you could leave him all together plagued him enough to make his stomach twist in sickness.
After another day in the studio without you, Yoongi decided to leave early. He was going to talk to you. If you were suffering he wanted to help, be the boyfriend he promised to be. He will not let your relationship go to waste.
He came to see you at your apartment, using his spare key to enter without permission. He walked cautiously into your room. He smiled at the sight in front of him. There you were head buried in your laptop with books and papers surrounding you. You reminded him of himself.
‘’Hey.’’ He whispered softly. You turned your head and smiled. His nerves eased by a fraction.
‘’I thought you’d still be at the studio?’’ You wondered putting your attention back on your laptop. Yoongi walked up to you placing his hands on your shoulders, rubbing circles into them with his fingers. You relaxed into his touch.
‘’It just doesn’t feel as good working there… it hasn’t for a long time.’’ He mumbled, biting his lip. You hummed.
‘’How come?’’ You questioned picking up a book from behind your laptop. Yoongi sighed.
‘’Because you’re not there anymore.’’ He admitted looking down at the ground. You turned around to look at him. You stood up to face him, placing your hands on his face you made him meet your eyes.
‘’Is something wrong? Do you not want to be around me anymore? Am I not giving you enough attention beca-‘’ You hushed him placing your hand over his mouth. You giggled at the sudden nervous explosion of your boyfriend.
‘’There are no such things Min Yoongi.’’ You brushed the hair out of his eyes and smiled. He looked at you confused.
‘’Then why won’t you see me anymore?’’ He questioned sounding like a whiny child. You laughed leaning in to hug him.
‘’With the final examinations coming for my apprenticeship I wanted to complete all my work as fast as I can so when you get a break we can go somewhere.’’ You explained to him. Yoongi looked at the stuffed table next to you. A small oh formed on his lips. You laughed.
‘’So you were not avoiding me?’’ He asked rubbing the back of his neck embarrassed. You shook your head.
‘’I would never. I kind of actually missed you.’’ You scrunched up your nose and he enveloped you in his arms.
‘’I missed you too.’’ He dipped his head into your neck, finding the comfort he was longing for, for so long.
‘’I’m almost done, just a few finishing details.’’ You smiled pulling away from him. He looked at you feeling all anxiety and nerves leave at once. He nodded his head and retreated to your bed leaning against the wall as he watched you take your place by the laptop resuming your work.
He wondered if that’s how you felt watching him, so in love with the slightest of movements and continuous pride making your chest hurt. He smiled to himself.
‘’I wouldn’t mind spending the rest of my life like this.’’
Hoseok
Hoseok has been having a very busy schedule lately meaning most of the time you only get to talk to him over the phone. You were dying for something fun to do, you wished you could do it with Hoseok but you didn‘t want to disturb him while he‘s hard at work to satisfy your own needs. You knew he‘d come running to you when he had the time. He was dedicated to his work and you admired him for that.
However, you were bored, and laying on your bed and watching the no good tv shows weren‘t going to heal your sudden adventurous spurt. Luckily for you a friend of yours has invited you to the local fun fair, sure it had the same rides and the same food as always, but it was a better option than sulking the hours away while longing for your boyfriend. You got dressed and left your home, maybe this will lift your mood.
Hoseok was finally done with the final practice of the week. He couldn‘t wait to get to your apartment and spend the rest of the night cuddling in bed, eating some long deserved junk food while watching the no good tv shows you‘re always complaining about.
He smiled to himself thinking about how much you probably missed him, his own chest tightening as he realised that he missed you just as much. Hurrying with goodbyes Hoseok ran out of the studio to get to you.
Hoseok reached your door sighing in relief. He can‘t wait to see you and hold you, his arms aching for your presence. He knocked on the door, you didn‘t answer. He knocked again, maybe you were asleep, he thought. He pulled out the spare key you had given him.
He unlocked the door and entered the empty apartment, dark and quiet. He turned on the light and sat on the coutch, phone in hand. He sent you a quick message, asking where you were. When you replied saying you were at the amusement park, his heart sank a little. He knew he shouldn‘t feel upset about you having fun, but maybe you didn‘t miss him as much as he thought if you‘re out there enjoying your time, without him.
He sent you a text, saying he‘s at your apartment. You didn‘t reply for some time and Hoseok gave up. He got up and turning off the lights left your apartment. He locked the door, his eyes trained on the floor as he walked out of the building. He didn‘t want to feel so upset, but he did. He missed you.
‘‘Hoseok!‘‘ He turned around and there you were. Cheeks flushed with your hands on your knees as you breathed out strings of smoke into the cold night air, panting as your lips spread into a huge grin.
Hoseok grinned back, his heart unclenching from the horrible feeling of longing. He ran up to you taking your hands in his.
‘‘You ran?‘‘ He laughed as you glared at him.
‘‘Of course I ran, when my boyfriend comes to see me after almost two full weeks of not seeing each other, of course I‘ll run even if I have to deal with the taste of blood in my mouth.‘‘ You grimmaced and Hoseok stroked your hair pulling you to his chest.
‘‘I missed you too.‘‘ He smiled into your hair. You breathed in his scent finally feeling at peace, finally filling that emptiness inside you.
‘‘Oh!‘‘ You pulled back with a gasp. Hoseok lifted his eyebrows in the sudden retreat. You dug into your bag and pulled out a heart shaped puppy. You pressed it into Hoseok‘s face.
‘‘Look what I won you.‘‘ You exclaimed happily. Hoseok laughed pulling the plushie from his face, he looked at it and then at you. He smiled sweetly at you.
‘‘I think I‘m the winner here.‘‘
Jimin
Jimin has been waiting for you to show up at the practise studio for the past hour. You talked about this just a few days ago, that you both need a day out with just the two of you. You haven’t been able to spend much time together with the comeback on the way, so to say that Jimin was excited for this outing was an understatement.
However he was growing a bit anxious. He made sure to finish up early so you guys could spend more time together but you were an hour late and Jimin was getting worried.
His phone beeped with a message, he smiled at the picture of you that popped up. That smile vanished though when he read the actual text. You were cancelling on him, saying something more important came up. What can be more important than spending time with your boyfriend? Jimin thought but regretted it a second later, it must be something really important though since you wouldn’t cancel without a good reason.
Having nothing to do he resumed his practise, sending you a quick message making sure to reschedule the date. He was disappointed but you’ll get to spend some time together soon enough.
Except that you didn’t because you cancelled two more dates that week and Jimin was done with making up excuses especially when your excuses were simply not good enough. Why would you suddenly agree to babysit your neighbour’s puppy on the day you were supposed to go out?
Jimin had had enough with you avoiding him. He was going to find out what is going on. If you didn’t want to see him anymore then you should just say so, Jimin thought angrily even if the thought sent a pang of pain icing his chest.
He knocked on the door of your apartment. Your roommate opened the door, her eyes widening at the sight of Jimin. Giving him a quick smile she walked out of the apartment saying something about shopping, leaving the door open for Jimin to enter.
He walked in to see you curled up on the couch in a blanket, only the top of your head visible. No puppy insight.
‘’So where’s the puppy?’’ He called out startling you enough to make you jump. You reached for your blanket, covering your face so only your eyes were visible.
‘’Jimin?’’ You looked at him, you felt guilt swim in between your ribs as you saw the hurt look on your boyfriend’s face. He shook his head.
‘’There’s no puppy is there? You really are avoiding me?’’ He asked in disbelief, hands waving in the air. You choked up not knowing what to say. He scoffed and turned to leave.
‘’Wait Jimin! ‘‘ You yelled running from the couch, except you ended up tripping on your blanket and fell to the floor with a thud at the same time as the door to your apartment slammed shut.
You looked at the door in defeat. The fact was that you were avoiding Jimin, and the reason was really stupid but you just couldn‘t come to terms with it. You touched the massive cold sore decorating your lips, your fingertips running over the enourmous bumps. You groaned putting your face in your hands.
You knew you shouldn‘t feel insecure around Jimin, he loves you for you despite what you look like. But you were so embarrassed by something that was out of your control that you couldn‘l help but hide yourself from the world, especially from your gorgeous boyfriend who you can‘t even comapre yourself too.
You sat on your couch. The answer was easy, you were going to see Jimin and apologise. Suffering through a cold sore is nothing but seeing the hurt in Jimin‘s eyes is a suffering that you don‘t want to experience. And you especially don‘t want to be the cause of his sadness. You love him and you‘d accept him with all of his flaws. He would do the same. You were being stupid.
Dressing up and putting a mask over your face you headed to the practise studio. You knew Jimin would be there working off his frustration. On your way there you bought a bouquet of flowers. It was cheesy but you knew it‘d make him smile.
You entered the studio. Jimin was sitting on the floor, his shirt damp with sweat as his brows furrowed in concentartion while he monitored himself on his phone. You coughed catching his attention. He glanced up at you.
He looked to the side away from you seeming conflicted but upon deciding something in himself he got up to face you.
‘‘I wasn‘t avoiding you, I was embarrassed.‘‘ You said quietly. Jimin looked at you surprised and confused.
‘’Embarrassed? Why would you be embarrassed?’’ He questioned coming closer to you so you’d look at his eyes. You sighed and slowly pulled the mask away from your face. You didn’t dare look at Jimin.
You felt soft fingertips graze your chin, forcing you head up gently. You looked up to meet your boyfriend’s gaze, there was amusement in his eyes matching the huge grin on his face.
‘’You’re an idiot, a beautiful and hopeless idiot.’’ He laughed at you. You huffed slamming the flowers against his chest. He laughed wrapping his fingers around the stem of the bouquet. He positioned the bouquet next to your face.
‘’I see no difference.’’ He smiled at you lovingly. You smiled back, your heart relaxing against your rib cage. You walked towards him letting yourself fall into your boyfriend’s arms. You really were an idiot.
‘’I’m sorry, I didn’t want to cancel and I didn’t mean to hurt you.’’ You whispered into his chest. He stroked your head, making you relax.
‘’What hurts me is that you clearly don’t love yourself as much as I do.’’ He kissed your temple. Your eyes brimmed with tears.
‘’I’m working on it.’’ You provided meekly, making Jimin smile into your hair.
‘’Then for now, trust me to love you enough for the both of us.’’
Taehyung
‘’I’m sure there’s a reason why she hasn’t said anything’’ Jimin smiled softly at Taehyung rubbing at his shoulder. Taehyung peered at him from underneath his lashes, frowning.
‘’She forgot.’’ Taehyung sulked, pulling at the loose strands of his ripped jeans.
‘’Y/N wouldn’t do that, she isn’t like that.’’ Jin provided slipping to Taehyung’s side.
They were grouped on the floor of their dancing studio, after having practiced for hours on end. Taehyung put all his anger and frustration into his dancing, but now he was left exhausted and more upset than before. He couldn’t believe you forgot his birthday. Of all people, he expected you to be the first one to congratulate him.
‘’She hasn’t called or sent a text, the whole day.’’ Taehyung argued, he wanted so badly for you to have a plausible reason for not calling him but his feelings were hurt and he couldn’t help but me mad.
‘’Maybe something happened to her.’’ Yoongi thought out loud. It startled Taehyung as a cold feeling rushed to his chest. No you were okay, he’d know if you weren’t. He’d feel it. Hoseok hit Yoongi’s shoulder, telling him off for saying stupid things like that.
‘’The practice is done guys, let’s get home.’’ Namjoon called out smiling sadly at Taehyung. Jungkook grabbed Taehyung’s bag for him, obviously feeling sorry for his hyung.
As the boys walked into the crisp cold air of Seoul, they shivered at the cold enveloping their bodies. It was night and Taehyung never felt more alone, despite having his friends around him. On his birthday he wished to spend the day with the one he loved, even if just for few minutes on face time, it’d be enough. Even a second of your time was always enough for him. But now you forgot about him. Sudden gasps and laughs circled around him but Taehyung kept his gaze on the floor wondering what you might be doing.
Yoongi slapped Taehyung on the shoulder, telling the younger one to look up. Taehyung was about to yell at him before his eyes landed on a figure sitting on the hood of their van. A small muffin with a single candle was gleaming in their hands.
Taehyung’s heart collapsed as his entire body froze, looking at you smiling at him with love and pride in your eyes.
‘’HAPPY BIRTHDAY!‘‘ You shouted leaping off of the car, heading towards your boyfriend whose mouth was hanging open as tears brimmed his eyes.
Perhaps you knew that not sending him a single message the whole day would hurt his feelings but you also knew that if there‘s one thing Taehyung wished, it was to spend his birthday with the poeple he loved by his side, which included you. So you took it upon yourself to surprise him by flying over to spend some time even if just for a few few days with him, instead of being thousands of miles away only seeing each other on the screens of your phones.
‘‘Make a wish,‘‘ you smiled holding the muffin close to his face. He laughed, his eyes scrunching releasing a tear that glided down his cheek shimmering from the light of the candle.
‘‘I think it just came true,‘‘ he laughed as he blew the candle out and pulled you into a hug, squishing you to his chest as he hid his smile in you shoulder. Hoseok barely managed to catch the muffin before it fell from your hand.
‘‘Happy birthday my love.‘‘ You whispered into Taehyung‘s hair, hugging him tighter as he laughed into your neck.
‘‘Thank you.‘‘
Jungkook
You’ve been coming in and out of Jungkook’s room for the past week, you’ve told him you need his computer to work on something for studies while you visited so you wouldn’t miss any work. He gladly left you in your own space, giving you the time you needed to complete some work so you could spend the rest of the time with him.
Jungkook liked having you around, the process of seeing how you were so natural moving around his room, knowing where everything is and not needing his help in finding anything made him somewhat giddy. He could imagine the two of you having your own place someday, moving around naturally with no worries in the day. You’d be home with each other. You’re still young and nothing is for sure, but Jungkook can’t keep these thoughts out of his head.
You’ve just finished whatever you’ve been working on and joined your boyfriend in the living room just chatting and listening to music. The weather was bad so you couldn’t go out. After some time Jungkook decided to work on a video he was in the process of editing, he wanted to release it as soon as possible but first it had to be perfect. You let him go do his own thing while you settled for watching T.V.
Not even five minutes later Jungkook comes rushing into the room frowning at you with his arms crossed over his chest.
‘’Please tell me you did not use my filmmaking software while you were on the computer?’’ He looked at you accusingly. You felt panicked for a second. You did use it, but if Jungkook found out the surprise would be spoiled.
‘’Um, I-‘’ You started but Jungkook cut you off with a loud groan, he stared at the ceiling licking his lips in frustration.
‘’You deleted the entire software including everything I’ve worked on, I have no idea if I had the chance to even back it up. Everything is lost Y/N!‘‘ Jungkook spilled out in anger, he was trying not to get mad but he worked so hard and you ruined everything.
You stared at him guiltily. You were so careful about what you were doing, you knew how sensitive Jungkook could get, but perhaps you made an accident.
‘’I was just playing around, I’m sorry.’’ You supplied softly. Jungkook sighed running his hands through his hair.
‘’I’m going to have to reinstall everything and somehow get the files back, stay here if you want or just go home.’’ He said, walking away into his room.
You felt it was clear that he wanted some space, but you didn’t want to go leaving this misunderstanding to mess up your relationship, so you waited patiently.
Jungkook was trying not to stress over the lost files but he felt it was a shame to lose everything he worked on. He managed to reinstall the software but now he’s stuck looking for the files. He didn’t want to be mad at you, he knew it was most likely an accident and you’d never mess with his work on purpose, you’d always give him so much support. He felt like an ass, he hoped you didn’t leave so you could still talk it out.
Upon searching for the files Jungkook came by something unfamiliar that was titled ‘For Jungkook’, he clicked on it out of curiosity, it opened up in his software. Some sort of video, about three minutes long but still unfinished. He didn’t remember making it at any point so he clicked play.
A slow song started playing accompanied by a black screen that was soon covered in writing saying ‘For Jungkook with all the love in the world from Y/N’ what showed next was a series of videos and pictures carefully edited to make a beautiful video depicting the process of your and Jungkook’s relationship.
Jungkook was still the whole time, a wide grin stretching across his face with soft laughter escaping him at times when he saw something he remembered from the video. He felt sad when it ended. He wanted more, but judging by the sudden cut he expected there’ll be more to come. If only he didn’t screw everything up by yelling at you.
He quickly got up from his chair and dashed out of the room. You got up just as fast when he entered. You looked concerned walking towards him, you lifted your hand and using your sleeve you brushed at his cheeks wiping the dampness. He didn’t even realise he cried.
‘’The video, it was beautiful.’’ He grinned pulling you close to him. You gasped in surprise but let yourself rest in his arms.
‘’It was supposed to be a surprise.’’ You whined, disappointed that your sneaking around and study excuses were ruined. Jungkook laughed.
‘’It would have been a great surprise. I didn’t mean to press on it…and I didn’t mean to yell at you.’’ He pressed his lips to your forehead, hoping you’d forgive him.
‘‘It’s alright, I should have been more careful anyway.’‘ You felt glad you stayed. It was nerve-wrecking waiting for him, you knew you made a sincere mistake and you knew Jungkook knew that. No need for dramatics.
‘‘Don’t worry about it, my stuff is nothing compared to what you made me, seems like I have competition.’‘ He laughed causing you to laugh too. You looked at him feeling warm and content inside.
‘‘You liked it?’‘ You asked so full of innocence and care it almost made Jungkook tear up again.
‘‘I loved it and I can’t wait to see how you film the rest of our lives, all those long years to come.’‘
