Lost Land • Nobel Peace Winning Explorer Sam sets off on another epic adventure to discover the ancient mythical lands lost over time. Haven’t posted in a while~ hello everyone, thanks for not giving up on my feed. Hope you all had a great happy new year! Raging Fire • Don’t let anger control you. “Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry” Taken as the sun was going down over West Lake in Hanoi. Thankfully my brother was a good sport and agreed to lay on the floor for the sake of my "creativity" lol~ This museum brings awareness to the 54 Ethnic groups/mountain people living all over Vietnam. Glow • Capturing some light at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi. Long time no post. My apologies for my absence. Since my last post, lots has happened. Especially, the last two weeks of September. Finish • there's a phrase "done is better than perfect" I came across when reading on design creativity. I think I first saw it in David Airey's "Logo Design Love" but it's a well known anecdote in the professional world of design. Ben Barry, designer at Facebook words this much better than I but basically, the designer's struggle between creating unique art that reflects their individual style vs meeting the client's (typically non-design minded) wants and the deadline, haha. But it can be applied in any project, in this case, my self-appointed challenge in July to post every day of the month. Obviously, I failed, and a good portion of that reason was my struggle of "perfect post with caption" and the integrity of my instagram vs accomplishing my challenge. Long story short, it's hard. Surprisingly, I ended up getting quite reflective on life. Lost a lot of sleep haha, etc. But even 19 days after, I got it done. Good job self. Finish what you started. In the middle you may want to give up but st those moments gotta remind yourself why you started in the first place. Have a good Saturday folks.
